Monthly Rentals in Mai Hịch

It is a cozy private room in a small hotel. The scene around is magnificent, especially in the early morning when you wake up. Duyen was so friendly and kind-hearted, she gave us a bunch of things to do around. I will come back some time. Thank you for everything.

After being a few tiring days in Hanoï, we were so happy to spend a couple of days in the countryside, at Thi Kieu’s. Her accommodation is so charming, with a breathtaking view in front of the rice fields. What a peaceful place, definitively worth the trip! Moreover, she is totally fluent in both French and English, which makes the communication much easier. She also proposes additional services, such as the renting of bicycles and motorcycle if needed :-)

If you enjoy being in nature and want to escape the crowds, this is the perfect place! We really enjoyed seeing a different side of Vietnam outside of the tourist areas. The wooden house feels very cosy and there is a nice outside area with a large picknick table. It’s basic, but has everything you need: a kitchen (including fridge, electric stove, utensils), bathroom and hot water. It’s a 20 minute walk to a small town with some small shops and friendly people. If you walk a bit further north, there is a beautiful viewpoint on the lake. Also, a scooter with 2 helmets is provided (although we didn’t use it). Even though it’s remote, it’s quite convenient to get there: you take the bus between Ninh Binh and Mai Chau and get out at Phu Cuong, from there it’s a 20-30 minute taxi ride to the Airbnb. Finally, the owner is very helpful and responds quickly!

I had a wonderful stay at Du's place! The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, making it feel like a home away from home. Du was incredibly helpful and responsive. Highly recommended :)
