Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Madeira Island

Very nice accommodation,clean and well-equipped. There is a portable heater in case it is a little cold and the manager offered to bring a 2nd one which I really appreciated while the listing specifies that there is no heating. The bottle of wine was also appreciated. The place is quiet and perfect for enjoying Ponta do Pargo.

The space is beautiful all around. The garden is super laid out and you can eat with a sea view on the terrace. In the kitchen as well as in the bathroom: perfect amenities. Vinegar, oil, spices, great shampoos to bathrobes. Nothing is really missing here! Also the communication was great. The access is via a key box and is super easy. The location is a bit remote and the way there is very curvy and steep - of course not uncommon in Madeira, but sometimes a bit strenuous after a long day. Car is indispensable, no cafe, small supermarket or the like within walking distance. Two small negative points: We didn't have wifi on two evenings. A small house is being built behind the house. Unfortunately, we had construction noise here in the afternoon (5/18 pm). Thanks Catarina for the great week!

Well-equipped, clean house with beautiful overview of Funchal and the sea. The city can be reached in 5-10 minutes by car or by bus. The communication with the host was great, he gave us a lot of recommendations for the island.

The cottage met our expectations as much as possible. Everything was as described and photographed, the interior was tidy and clean. Beautiful neighborhood, the cottage has large glazing through which you can admire the mountains. The host responds quickly to questions, if there's always Aldino in the area, who will also always help, show the farm. During your stay, you can use the fruits and vegetables that grow on the farm. A great place to relax. A great base, located in the north, more or less in the middle, making it close to everything.

Very nice house, but unfortunately hardly any sun due to the location This made the house a little cool, but pleasant due to the heaters above and below. Unfortunately extremely difficult access conditions. The access was made difficult by cars parked on the narrow road. Equipment and size of the house very satisfactory.

Super nice little place with nice outdoor space. The host was always available in a short time and was extremely friendly. Only the traffic noise was negative, although it must be noted that in the times we stayed and slept in the accommodation it was fine ( from about 8-8 pm it was quiet )

If you want peace and quiet, then this is the place. Not far from cafes or restaurants while being able to see the unspoilt island. Central to the Island so not too far from anywhere to explore. Some fantastic walks nearby if you have a head for heights, while not being disturbed by coach loads of tourists. It does get cold in the house in February, so take warm clothing for the evenings, but there is always the wood burner and fireplace to make it comfortable. The table tennis, table football and pool table are a bonus and the swimming pool looked very inviting when the weather is warmer later in the year. A great place for families.

Spacious apartment with a comfortable terrace and a large kitchen. It is worth knowing that the apartment is located on a narrow street on a hill, there is no natural light in the bedrooms, one bathroom is located in one of the bedrooms, and the second (with very weak water pressure) is on the terrace. Nevertheless, in terms of price/quality ratio + Caroline's amazing willingness to always help - this is definitely 5 stars. Many thanks to Karolina for her hospitality!

We really enjoyed our stay at the farm. Amazing view, nature, really beautiful surroundings. Hidden trails for people who are in to non-commercial hiking; you need only look a little. There is already one coming up to the farm, but ask Joana for local advice as she is also really engaged and helpful! We enjoyed the local farmers market in the nearby village, Santo da Serra, and the nearby park, which is also well worth regular visits, Quinta da Junta. We had bread delivered early in the morning, and a fruit basket that was kept topped up, and some amenities in the fridge when we arrived so that we were not foodless (e.g. butter, milk, cheese, eggs and ham). The apartment itself was excellently maintained, with access into the back garden area and sun loungers. We also appreciated the bath after long hikes and beach stays. We suggest renting a car to take full advantage of this part of the island, and where this is not possible using Joana's taxi contact. However, you can reach most places by bus, it just takes longer. Pay close attention to the bus plans. Overall, highly recommended! We want to come back one day :)

Such a beautiful home. We were received in a very friendly manner and at 3:00 in the morning after a delayed plane. As a welcome, we even had a bottle of wine on the table. From the towels, the hand washing soap, the dishwasher to dish towels, everything was available in the house. Very clean. Absolutely great, quiet location. When cooking, you look at the sea. Large terrace. All in all, really great.

The place itself is very cozy. It's not fancy or new but well-designed and maintained. You have everything you might need there. The village is a small local getaway with two restaurants (one nice is right next door) and a small grocery shop, 5-min walk to the port. It's far from all attractions, so you need a car and be prepared to spend from 30 min to an hour driving one way if you want to see places, and also parking in popular locations is troubled most of the time. In the village, parking is always available somewhere close to the apartment. The ocean is just across the street, and during our stay, serfers were there to ride the waves. The street itself can be noisy on work mornings as the village lives its usual life - garbage is being emptied, neighbors are doing a renovation or mowing a lawn, banana plantation workers are coming, etc. The closest nice sandy beach and water tours are 10 km away in Calheta. The nearest proper supermarket is about 20 km away, in Ribeira Brava.

Everything was fantastic we are very satisfied. Flat is comfortable, position is fantastic with ocean view

We stayed at Bobby's house for 4 nights and the truth is everything was perfect, from the first moment they were concerned about our arrival and gave us directions, apart from that the views of the accommodation were amazing, and the incredible pool, we would repeat without a doubt. A pleasure to meet them and the island too.
