Large and clean apartment, within walking distance of the center. Smooth and friendly communication with the host! Highly recommended!

The location was great - we stayed here as a base while driving around the island to hike. Many restaurants and the city centre were within walking distance. Berta and Ligia were really great hosts, providing local recommendations and allowing for an early check in. Small note - because there’s no air conditioning, it did feel stuffy with no air circulation but we opened the windows and the hosts were kind enough to provide a fan.

My friend and I had a fantastic stay at Steve’s apartment in Madeira! The space was clean, comfortable, and perfectly located for exploring Funchal and the island itself. Steve was a great host — responsive and welcoming. Highly recommend and would happily stay again!☺️

Large, well-equipped apartment with fabulous balcony. Spotlessly clean. Very comfortable beds with good quality bed linen. Unfortunately during our stay there was excavation work being done (8am -5pm, Monday to Friday) at two building sites nearby, which meant that if we returned to the apartment late afternoon it was just too noisy to take advantage of the balcony - hopefully, once the excavation work has been completed, completion of the buildings will be a much quieter process! Other than the building noise the location is excellent, quiet and a ten minute walk to the heart of Funchal. Irina responded immediately to messages and was very understanding when we lost a set of keys.

One of the loveliest stays ever! Amazing surroundings and the most beautiful view on the valley from the balcony! A bit far to walk to the village but the Busstop is right in front of the house. So bring your supplies for cooking as its well worth staying in in the evening :) Awesome hike starting from the backdoor, also one of the nicest I’ve ever done ( I’m Swiss -and therefore pretty spoilt for good wanderlust)

Julie's apartment corresponded to the description, is very stylishly decorated and the sea view is unique and relaxing. The folder Julie has put together contains great tips, also from restaurant she likes to visit herself. We felt very comfortable. Julie is a super host and happy to help with tips for restaurants , supermarkets and parking in Funchal and is very committed to providing a great stay for her guests.

The place was lovely and the host was lovely. Very welcoming and friendly environment couldn’t ask for anything more.

Really lovely apartment, really spacious with a wonderful south facing balcony which was a really good size. Everything was good, very well equipped. 15 minute walk down a steep hill to the beach. The views are stunning, and everything you need is here. The bar is great! The only drawback is the pool needs an update, looks a bit tired and doesn’t get much sun as it’s on the NW side of the building so is quite cold. Otherwise, much thanks.

The apartment is spacious, modern and clean with a beautiful view of the ocean. Watching the sun rise while having breakfast on the terrace is a must 👌 we highly recommend it.

I enjoyed stay at this place, felt like home. Safe. Everything is near by. Shopping, transportation. I went out for late evening and early morning walks, and it was great watching all Christmas markets and lights in walking distance. I will definitely recommend this place and I would prefer to book this place if it’s available for my next Madeira visit.

Good accommodation in Madeira, very good value for the price. Located in Camara de Lobos, very nice area (it is advisable to have a car, area of many slopes). Very close to Funchal, 15 min drive. The apartment is just like the photos, very clean and tidy. The only catch I would put is that there is some noise because the front door has a grille-shaped part through which air and noise comes in, but it is fixed by closing the door to the main room. Eugenia is very attentive. Highly recommended accommodation!

We loved absolutely everything about this place - very well thought space! The views were amazing!

The apartment is really big and equipped with everything you need. The view from the two master bedrooms to the village of Camara de Lobos and the sea is stunning. You can reach the village with many restaurants and shopping in a few minutes on foot. The bus connections in all directions are also easily accessible in minutes. Leandro is a very nice and helpful landlord. The communication in English was excellent, quick and completely hassle-free. We felt extremely comfortable in the 5 weeks and can highly recommend the apartment and the host.

I loved my stay at Nelson's place. It's even more beautiful than the photos and the apartment is very big! Balcony views are breathtaking! Nelson was very quick to respond to my messages. Large public parking directly from the building to the accommodation. Quiet little village surrounded by banana plantations. I would 100% recommend!

We had a great stay. View is insane, great balcony to sit and watch the sunset. It was also great being a bit out of town but still very close. Car spot was also very handy- recommend getting a rental car if you’re staying here. Space was really comfortable with room to move, space to cook and great location

We had a very nice stay in Adriana's apartment. It felt like we were the first. Clean and cozy, modernly furnished. The location is great and the amenities except for a dishwasher perfect. The only personal preferences would be softer mattresses. We also always found a parking space in front of the apartment. The pool is also great for relaxing after a trip. Thank you. We will be happy to come back.

This place exceeded expectations - luxury apartment, well appointed kitchen, comfortable beds with high end linens, gorgeous pool area, parking both below and above ground, well located. We loved it.

A wonderful apartment. Massive, with a very large and usable balcony, with extensive ocean views. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The local area was excellent, with 2 ocean pools nearby, and great restaurants. The only downside is an underground parking spot that is very hard to access for a larger car, but we mostly parked in the parking spaces outside.

We had a fantastic time at this Airbnb in Madeira and with a clear conscience, I can say that this is one of the best places you can choose to stay in Funchal. The apartment was spotless and extremely pleasant. The kitchen was well-equipped-we found everything we needed to prepare meals there, which is a huge plus for people who like to cook on vacation. The living room was spacious and comfortable, with a brilliant couch where you could relax after a day of sightseeing. The biggest advantage though was the view of the ocean – it was just breathtaking! Contact with the owner was top notch – fast, helpful and very friendly, which made the entire stay even more enjoyable. The location also deserves a distinction – it's the perfect starting point for exploring Madeira's charms, both Funchal and the further corners of the island. I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a unique place to stay in Madeira. We will definitely be back!
