Cottage vacation rentals in Lowestoft

We spent a lovely extended weekend at the barn visiting our family in Norfolk. The barn was clean, warm and comfortable and had everything that we needed. Jill and Phil were friendly and welcoming and check-in and check-out were easy. The super-king sized bed was comfy and the hot tub was an added bonus after a busy couple of days with the grandchildren.

We had a lovely stay in this peaceful, cosy cottage. The thoughtful welcome treats and local tips helped us feel at home and the hot tub was a real luxury.

The property was in superb condition, spotless and immaculately clean and presented. All fixtures and fittings were of great quality and there was a lovely welcome pack to greet us, containing local cakes, biscuits and so forth. We met Cindy and her husband Mark when they came to service the hot tub and they are delightful people. We spent time chatting during which they recommended restaurants, one of which we used (Buckinghamshire Arms) where we enjoyed Sunday lunch. Overall, a great experience, top notch Airbnb.

Very comfortable, spacious and well equipped cottage with lovely surroundings. Dog friendly too. Great to see such well cared for and happy hens wandering around too.

Had a wonderful relaxing week staying at the wonderful Deer View property. Beautiful surroundings and a thoroughly comfortable stay, close to the Broads and Norwich.

We had a perfect weekend break accommodation as described 👌. Joanna left homemade brownies that lasted all of 5 mins 😁 milk, eggs, yoghurts, vase of flowers, cream, and cookies all made the first impression Perfect. We walked throughout the large grounds used the jacuzzi, games room with toilet which had sky tv on a large screen pool table tennis table football and ice hockey game, lots of seating to watch. Very quiet and secluded area 20 25 mins from beccles local pub unfortunately we did not use. Farm shop on site with local fresh produce and everything thing you might need if you have forgotten anything. At night no light contamination so on a clear night we could see a sky full of stars planets etc. Overall perfect place Perfect accommodations and perfect guest 👌 A1.

I booked this as a Christmas gift for my parents and they really enjoyed it. I didn’t realise I’d actually stayed here myself last year aswel and both mine and my parents visit was lovely and thoroughly enjoyed. There was never no problems and any questions before hand was always answered very promptly. Lovely place and great host Thank you

We had a wonderful few days in this beautiful house which was exactly as described and shown in the listing. If you’re looking for space, privacy and comfort then I can’t recommend Coral’s place highly enough. The hot tub was a real hit with the teenagers, and the community run pub just 10 mins walk across a couple of fields was a hidden gem. A really lovely family break with plenty of room to spread out (inside and out) and lots to do in the area. Highly recommended and would love to come again.

Just as it's pictured, weather was kind and made the house even more inviting. I was wowed when we pulled up the drive! I did have to check that I had booked somewhere with a secure garden and was pleasantly surprised once we turned up and saw the gardens, low fences but held in 3 springy Frenchies with no issues. Everything you need and more. Lots of lovely villages to visit. Dog walks on the doorstep. Already looking at when we can book again. Even considering hiring a boat too. Liz was great with instructions and local information. Highly recommend the Thatch cottage.

Fab cottage perfect location for exploring the area . Great gastronomy pub 2 minutes walk . Lovely friendly village great parking facilities outside the property or allocated parking. We would definitely be booking again in fact I have booked for my parents.

We recently spent two nights at Chloe’s cottage. It was a very spacious cottage in a very rural, tranquil location. We particularly enjoyed the south facing garden in the afternoon. The logburner made things very cosy in the evenings. We will certainly book again when we return to this part of the country in a couple of years time. Thank you for a very enjoyable break.

The Dairy is the perfect place if you are looking for a relaxing weekend in a peaceful area with beautiful surroundings. The renovated barn has been done up amazingly with some key characteristics still in place. The log fire was an added bonus in the evenings and made it really cosy. Lots of lovely walks around it and easy to get to surrounding beaches and other coastal towns. Julia was very responsive and helpful with queries. We would love to come back! Do not hesitate to book - you won’t regret it! Thanks again

Well what can we say, perfect location/very very clean and tidy. Loads of lovely touches to make us welcome, it was better than a hotel. Loads to do locally and just short drives out to all the sort after locations you may needs. Make sure you go to Mrs T’s fish & chip shop in Southwold on the beach it’s a must. Everything was perfect and Kerry & Adam are lovely, what a stunning part of the world they live in. They even supplied some milk/fresh eggs/crisps/biscuits, towels/linen were scrumptious oh and the beds extremely comfortable. Basically your mad if you don’t book here👍 Matt/Zara & boys thank you again x

Beautifully presented, well appointed lodges in peaceful surroundings, not to mention the added bonus of donkeys, goats and alpacas as neighbours! Julie and Adam were wonderful hosts, helpful and friendly, it was a pleasure.

I stayed at jens whilst working locally. It’s situated in a beautiful part of Suffolk,extremely quiet and peaceful.the accommodation was as described giving a real homely feel.i can’t fault the service I received at all and would gladly stay there again.highly recommended.

Keepers Cottage was very cosy with lots of space surrounding and great for kids to explore. It was well located both to access the city and surrounding Norfolk attractions. We had a lovely stay!

Our stay at Cissy’s Cottage was everything we could have wanted and more. The place itself was so lovely, comfortable and felt like a true countryside escape. We loved every second. There are tons of stunning local walks around the area as well as a lovely, delicious farm shop just down the road. Our hosts Bev and Martin were kind, thoughtful and very helpful with local recommendations. I could not recommend this stay enough for those wanting to feel comfortable and at peace in the countryside.

Yem's cottage was the perfect countryside stay. Plenty of parking on the gated driveway and has beautiful views of the fields from the kitchen window and private garden. The cottage was a home from home and it was spotless throughout. Yem is a great host, very responsive and provided baby stair gates and a high chair. The coast is reachable within an hour too. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend to others.

Excellent stay in a beautiful home, right in the heart of a pretty Suffolk village. The house itself is full of character and has all the amenities you'd expect for the perfect visit. We couldn't speak highly enough of Sarah and the welcome she gave us.

We had a very nice three nights stay at smithy cottage which is in an ideal rural location near to Norwich and the Broads. The cottage was very clean and the kitchen is very well equipped. Tanya is an excellent host and provided a welcome pack of wine, a range of nibles, cereals, eggs and milk.

Yvette's house was cosy and just what we were looking for a small dinner party and as a base to explore the Norfolk coast line.

Beautiful surroundings, loved being around all the nature, felt very private and tranquil. Would definitely recommend it to friends in the future and would stay here again when visiting Norwich

We chose Sinead’s house for its proximity to the beach and got so much more! The house is charming, a small cottage but perfect for us with two small children and the interiors and furniture was so lovely. Everything was carefully considered from the kitchen utensils to the children’s board games and puzzles. The bedding was cosy and the sheets and towels were soft and smelt of fresh laundry. It’s opposite a tasty fish ‘n chip shop which made dinner out of the papers on the beach so fun and tasty. There was so much to do close by and Sinead’s welcome guide was incredible - so clear and informative for everything in the house and what to do close by. I had a few questions and she got straight back to me. My family and I had a really special time - I couldn’t recommend the host and house enough!

Bulmer Cottage is beautifully decorated with so many special little touches to make you feel right at home. Wonderfully clean with a well equipped kitchen - not that we used it much as the local restaurants, fish and chip shop and lovely tea rooms kept us well fed. Lots to do nearby at Hemsby and Great Yarmouth but you can easily spend time in Winterton and wander to the beach. A fabulous few days with the family and the communication throughout was perfect.
