House vacation rentals in Lower Sugarloaf Key

Beautiful 2nd story home with plenty of seating, adequate room for 6 guests if needed, with every kitchen convenience you could imagine. Spent days relaxing in the pool when not out enjoying activities in the ocean. Neighborhood was relatively quiet and backyard pool area felt secluded and enjoyable. Could hear occasional airplanes coming and going from nearby airport but it was not a bother. Read several books during our stay while we basked in the sun. All items in home were in excellent working order. Spent a couple of days in Key West which was a beautiful drive and only took a little over an hour. Highly recommended accommodations!

Eddie’s home was fantastic! His communication was top notch and he checked in on us regularly. Eddie also provided great recommendations. The house was pristine, I mean spotless clean. The linens were freshly washed and the beds comfy. Kitchen well stocked with toaster oven, air fryer, blender, and 2 coffee pots. One for pods the other for ground. The full size washer and dryer were an added bonus. The activity room was a blast with the video games and air hockey. But the best part was the pool. Peaceful and tranquil spot to hangout. The pool was completely blocked from neighbors by the landscaping and is the perfect place to relax and watch the manatees in the canal! Another reason to book this home is that Sombrero Beach is literally a ONE minute walk. Eddie has a nice clean shed with ALL the beach amenities you could want. Chairs, umbrella, noodles, sand toys, and life jackets. We’re already talking to family about returning next Thanksgiving. Great host & great house!!

Awesome house with everything we needed for a large family vacation. The pool was perfect for the 6 younger kids and we loved exploring the waterfront. Close to restaurants and beaches and coffee shops but felt far enough away from the main highway. Would highly recommend.

Excellent host, very responsive. The manufactured home was clean and with all what was needed for our short stay at the florida keys. Check in was fine (people at the gate are kind of rude) but our attitude helped to ease the situation. I recommend Ms. Jana's place

Sean and the house are amazing!! I was confused on how to work the hot tub and he sent me his personal phone number so I could call him and he could walk me through it. He is so friendly, which was the cherry on top for such a great house - a private pool, working hot tub, and plenty of seating outside as well as activities at the house to do! Highly, highly recommend and will rebook if I’m ever taking a trip to Key Largo again!

If you’re looking for a quiet and secluded place to stay that is clean, then this is your place. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the Sunset Cottage. Downtown Key West was a short 30 minute drive.

We had a great time! House was beautiful and set up perfect for a relaxing week. Pool, pool area, and dock is were we spent most of our time. Kayaks and paddleboards were a nice treat to just simply paddle out of the canal and into the Atlantic shallows. This house has lots of space, we never felt like we were on top of each other. Any issues/concerns that we had were communicated and addressed promptly. Beds were comfortable which is very important to us. Poor sleep equals a bad week. Another important thing for us is the shower. Showers were clean and had great water pressure. Kitchen had everything needed to cook full meals. We used the stove, oven and grill everyday. We look forward to visiting again soon!

We had a wonderful stay! Janine’s place was clean and exactly as described. It was quiet and a short drive away to Sombrero Beach, Key Fisheries, and Publix (little less than 4 miles). The pool was great to have so that once we were tired from the beach we could come back and have lunch and then have some pool time. At night we would walk to Key Colony Beach to watch the sunset. And Janine had a few amenities such as beach towels and a hair dryer that made it easy to transition into the beach life without having to run to the store as soon as we arrived. Loved our stay and highly recommend! Thank you, Janine!

Roberto is by far the most thorough and conscientious host. We were so pleased with our accommodations and immediately felt at home. The use of The Cabana Club was a real bonus on the hottest days. Will most certainly return to Marathon!

Beautiful well kept and equipped home on a corner lot with canal in back and side of home. Furnished with tasteful, comfortable indoor and outdoor furnishings. Many items available for guests to use … including 3 kayaks— felt like home away from home —complete with an enclosed salt water pool perfect for evening swims away from the pesky bugs. Definitely recommend this home if you enjoy seeing manatee, fish, and more along a canal.

Yellowtail was the perfect place for 4 adults but would also be great for families. The private pool was fantastic. We rented a boat for the day so having our own boat dock to load supplies was very convenient. The house itself had everything we needed for our one week stay. It was clean and organized well. Marathon is a perfect location in the Keys! The only issue we had was the bait freezer started to thaw while we were there but Carlos was very responsive and had maintenance out right away to fix it. I would definitely recommend this rental to any of my friends.

we enjoyed walking to breakfast, lunch and/ or dinner at Sunset Grille. The sunsets are spectacular there. We loved that we could bike the pedestrian bridge along the 7 mile bridge. It was great to be so close to so many good beaches, Sombrero, coco Plum and of course Bahia Honda. It was only an hour to Key West, which made it an easy day trip destination. I loved that a sweet Manatee swam right up to the dock and seemed to say hello. Hot tub was nice after a day of bike riding, and we enjoyed just sitting on the deck and relaxing. Great stay!

As others have noted, this cottage is comfortable and located walking distance to many of Key West's attractions. How nice that it offers the private patio off the kitchen (The occasional music and chatter from restaurant on other side of fence was not that loud.) and a nice little balcony off the bedroom upstairs. It was also nice that it has a half bath downstairs as well as a full bath upstairs. The air conditioners worked well to cool the place despite temperatures in the mid-80's. Mattress was hard but we slept fine each night. The small swimming pool that was part of the little enclave was appealing. Personally, I preferred that this location was closer to the quieter, more refined end of Duval than the super-touristy section. Very walkable to Hemingway House and the Butterfly Conservatory and various restaurants like Cafe Sole, Red Shoe Island Bistro, & Moondog Cafe. Beware, however if stairs are a challenge for you: The stairs between living level & bedroom are steep.

This place was perfect for a relaxing getaway. We had 5 adults and all slept comfortably and didn't feel crowded. Grocery stores were close by, as well as other amenities. This spot is perfect for kayaking, too. We were able to paddle to Sombrero Beach and 7 mile bridge. Overall, we loved our stay!

Great place to stay with easy access to most things. A word of caution though, the canal doesn’t connect to the waterways so kayaking in the backyard is sort of dull seeing you can’t really get anywhere. Besides that everything else was great!

Everything was perfect and this place really helped build the foundation for an unforgettable weekend. It will be the first place I look up for future trips!

This was the perfect house for our one week stay at the keys! The house was exactly as described and shown in the pictures. The beds were comfortable and the 2 1/2 baths were super convenient. The kitchen had everything we needed for the week, there were enough pots and pans, a pressure cooker, rice maker, coffee makers, blender, it was stocked just like your kitchen at home. More than plenty of towels were provided, and many beach towels were available. The location was amazing, right around plenty of supermarkets and stores, and also close to nice beaches. Overall, this house was perfect for our long stay, I’d definitely stay here again.

Casa Loca was perfect! We got married in Key West and this home was great! It fit all of our needs. We loved the location and the layout of the home. We would definitely stay here again!

Our family holiday was superb. We ( 2 young people, 3 teens, 4adults and 1 granny) all loved staying at Gerardo’s place. The house is spacious inside and outside too. The teenagers , the kids and the adults all find a cosy place to rest alone or have fun together. Every area of the house was comfortable and clean. Very close to everything. Walking distance from the beach too.

Great place, living room seating not ideal for rainy days(Tropical storm Debby) for 4 adults and 1 child. Plenty of outdoor seating. Great dock. pet friendly a plus. Doraida is very responsive warned us of possible storm prior to our arrival. Really appreciated that!

Excellent place we had everything we needed for a great time, the boat dock was great in keeping your boat safe and scratch free, the front parking is big, very convenient, great location and great host

Great place to stay with the family. We fished off the back dock. got to see a couple manatees at the back dock which was very cool for the family. Location was extremely convenient to everything Marathon has to offer. We were only a couple minutes to grocery stores, dining and the beach. I would definitely stay here again. For a family of 5 with older kids there was plenty of room for us to hang out together.

I cannot say enough about this private, peaceful slice of paradise! I was worried it looked "too good to be true", but it really is just as beautiful as the photos. The house is stocked with everything you need, charming, and clean. The outside feels like your own tropical paradise! The boys loved the fishing (my 5 year old spent nearly the entire time fishing off the dock) and the girls enjoyed swimming in the clear water and playing in the sand! Kelley was such a great and kind host. She was quick to respond with any questions and helpful in giving recommendations! We give it a 10/10 and would love to go back someday! I highly recommend!
