Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Lower Matecumbe Key

I don’t usually write reviews, however, this is the best Airbnb we’ve stayed at. Five star property. Everything you ever need on a visit, was available at the house.

We had a wonderful time! The grounds were beautiful and very private. The kitchen was well stocked and had a good amount of “starter” items. The kayaks, chess board, and table tennis table were all great extras that we used frequently! We would stay again and again.

Stu’s home was superb, the manatees were a surprise bonus. The house is comfortable, well appointed, plus the location was perfect. Our check in email did not indicate the exact address of the house, Stu responded to my email within minutes, very attentive & available - getting into the house was a breeze! 🌸

Great place! Exactly like the pictures. AMAZING heated pool! Very clean. Ruth was an excellent host! She had fresh flowers, toiletries and even snacks and breakfast items to get us started! Most Airbnb’s you have to provide your own TP, paper towels, trash bags and soap but not here! Ruth had the place very well stocked. We will definitely be returning! Thanks for a memorable Thanksgiving week Ruth!!

My husband, 3 kids and I stayed at Casa Piña over Thanksgiving week. We immediately felt at home in this cozy and welcoming house. My husband and I enjoyed the screened porch and sitting out on the deck. The kids loved the pool, ping pong/pool table. We were able to tie our rental boat up each night to the dock and loved watching the fish around the fish light. Our Labrador retriever had the time of her life learning to be a salty dog. We are forever grateful to Jose for allowing us to use his home and bring our pup. Jose’s dinner recommendations were spot on. Grocery stores are just around the corner. All the local shops and business owners were helpful and welcoming. We were able to grill steaks and fish (that we caught!), as well as, make a cake, pie, and many breakfasts. Beds were super comfy, WiFi speedy, and tv’s in every room with streaming. Our first trip to the Keys was a memorable one and wont be our last. 5 stars to Jose and Casa Piña!! Thank you for being a stellar host!

We loved the place, and the time we spent here.

The home is beautiful, having a community pool and own personal pool was nice, we grilled a few nights, everything was clean and enough space for 8 of us, host was very responsive. Overall we had a great trip together

We had a great time! House was beautiful and set up perfect for a relaxing week. Pool, pool area, and dock is were we spent most of our time. Kayaks and paddleboards were a nice treat to just simply paddle out of the canal and into the Atlantic shallows. This house has lots of space, we never felt like we were on top of each other. Any issues/concerns that we had were communicated and addressed promptly. Beds were comfortable which is very important to us. Poor sleep equals a bad week. Another important thing for us is the shower. Showers were clean and had great water pressure. Kitchen had everything needed to cook full meals. We used the stove, oven and grill everyday. We look forward to visiting again soon!

Largo was the perfect host. He provided very clear instructions prior and after our stay. The apartment is absolutely stunning and very clean! It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. I would highly recommend this location and the host.

Norma is a great host, very responsive. She provided lots of helpful local information. The location is absolutely awesome. We would have loved to stay longer but could not extend our stay.

Thoroughly enjoyed staying here, very close to the main road and near all the places we wanted to go to. Unit is wonderfully clean and comfortable. Nothing to complain about here.

Comfortable stay, and very responsive host!

Rhonda was an excellent Host. The location was perfect with a calm and peaceful setting. Condo was immaculate and everything and more we expected. Perfect get away for two people! I highly recommend this Condo and we will be returning again. We made a day trip to Key West then returned to a calm and serene setting, exactly what we had hoped for. Waterfront view, cozy porch setting + the finest linens and appliances you could ask for.

Our family enjoyed Diane’s condo very much. We had one small problem with the golf cart but I contacted them- with a response in minutes and it was fixed in a hour!! Very lovely complex and we enjoyed riding the golf cart to go view the sunset on the jetty. Our kids enjoyed the pools, park and playing at the small beach. We also enjoyed tennis and pickleball.

Rich’s place is exactly as described! Friendly, responsive host, beautiful property with tons of amenities & things to do close by. Many nearby restaurants that are great, phenomenal local diving & snorkeling.

Great spot to come and chill out and relax, it’s located in a great spot if you love fishing and not being around a lot of people. Plenty of deer all around the place too. Only thing was the cable would cut out from time to time but other then that pretty cool, also rented a boat right from the marina in front of our room.

Nice beach with cool wind. I enjoy sitting under the shades of the coconut trees watching people sail skiing, especially when there were several skiers at the same time. I did some fishing during high tides with 2 surf rods and caught snappers and red drums , plus sharks of course. One night after 9pm when we came back we caught 6 good fishes within an hour but only happened once during our one week stay.

Great spot for relaxing ,fishing and a lil no name br with Bret pizza Oh nd a pool. Nice serene rides on our bikes, lots of key deer to see! A very great time!
