great location for Knoxville/Maryville, good value for money! an older home but has everything you need and a view of donkeys and goats out the window! great sunrises in the morning as well. They were very sweet and even let me borrow some honey when my friend was getting sick. I would stay here again.

The place is great and just as depicted. It is a bit of a distance from downtown, but we knew that going in. Avoid left turns onto Hwy 129. Very clean and great kitchen. Would definitely stay again.

The location was beautiful; convenient to the main road but isolated enough that I felt like I was at a cabin retreat. I only wish that it was warm enough to sit on the back porch and drink some coffee and completely forget civilization was right down the road! There was some inclement weather during my stay, but with the single car garage allowed my car to be protected. All the amenities were provided and I was even able to do a load of laundry so I would be ahead of the game when I returned home.

Doug and Cathy’s place was absolutely beautiful and perfect for our stay. There’s a lot of beautiful nature around to explore, including the Smokies, house Mountain, and some great mountain biking trails. Our dogs loved running around the big backyard and we really enjoyed watching them from the breezeway. Having our coffee with the sunrise under the breezeway admiring the bird sounds and peaceful nature was one of the highlights of our trip. The bed was SUPER comfy and we loved the toady decor. Highly recommend staying here or look at their other properties. The barn and home next door are more spacious but with the same beauty. Doug and Cathy were excellent hosts, super friendly and helpful. We felt like we were staying with longtime friends. We definitely will return and highly recommend.
