Great place for a few days away. Lovely homely warm cottage, with cake and bread on arrival. walking routes on the door step and good pubs nearby. Will be back soon.

Cormac & Helen made me feel extremely welcome at their place… …whether it was a cheery wave on a morning, or regular checks to make sure everything was fine, the month I had there was perfect… I would definitely recommend anyone to stay either for a long weekend, or (as I needed) a long stint…

A great little hideaway, not far from Thirsk town centre and great food, awesome shower and comfy bed. I can’t say enough positive things about the Nook

I had stayed at Liz’s place once before and found it equally excellent this time. It’s well-appointed with high spec, mod-cons and decor, (architect designed I believe) with a lovely atmosphere and very peaceful private yard at the back off the bedroom which is not looked on by neighbours. I needed a quiet break and this was perfect. Liz herself was always on hand but discreet so the absolute perfect host for a stay. It’s close to all the shops (M&S and Lidl are literally just around the corner) and other amenities are a 5 minute walk. It’s also in a very nice upscale area making it, crucially, a safe place to stay as well. All in all I really can’t recommend this cottage and Liz herself highly enough. And by the way the shower is amazing too ;)
