Monthly Rentals in Little Mell Fell

Thanks Matt for a lovely stay in Watermillock. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful place to see in the new year.

We had a lovey week staying at this property. It was a cosy little bolt hole from which we could explore Ullswater with beautiful views across the lake towards the surrounding hills. The Brackenrigg Inn, just a short walk down the hill, served great food and local ales. It was a short drive to reach some spots on the lake shore where we could go paddle boarding, and some greta walks along the Ullswater Way right from the front door. Our girls enjoyed the communal lawn and, whilst there were other families staying on site, there always seemed to plenty of room for us all. The flat was well equipped and just about the right size for our family of 4 plus our dog. The beds were comfy and the showers great. There was limited wifi in the master bedroom / twin room - but that didn’t especially bother us. Overall a very enjoyable stay - thank you.

Hazel & Ian were superb and attentive hosts!. Extremely welcoming and friendly along with their gorgeous dogs and cats that I was lucky enough to see. I stayed in one of their self-catering Lodges and it was perfect. It had everything I needed. it was peaceful, spacious and well equipped with all amenties Including Hazel kindly supplying a range of cereals, flavoured oats, coffee , tea. sugar, bread. juice, butter, milk- which was very welcome after very long drive. Situated next door to Greystoke Castle, which I visited - it felt like a home away from home. I will most certainly be back hopefully near the end of Summer. Worth every penny and more.

Lovely and quiet little flat, with a well appointed kitchen. The bed was comfortable, the shortbread was fantastic, and we can’t wait to come back!
