We had a great stay at Tara’s Cottage. It was clean, cosy and the views from the hot tub were superb! Darragh was an excellent host providing info and he quickly responded to msgs. Would definitely recommend this spot for a few nights away :-)

Willow Cottage Dromara

LauraRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Willow Cottage is a paradise tucked away in the countryside. Beautifully decorated and super cosy, we had a great time during our night stay with our dog. Check in was smooth, communication was great from host Claire, the cottage was super clean and we made use of the hot tub in the late afternoon which was so relaxing and just what we needed. We kept our dog on a long lead as there were some gaps in the garden where he could get into the neighbouring field but the space was undoubtedly great for him to play fetch in and he was super tired for the evening then. We ordered takeaway online from ‘Tikka Town’ in Ballynahinch and couldn’t fault it. Experience at Willow cottage was 100/10 and we’d love to revisit. Thanks again to Claire.

Roddys cottage three bedroom with hot tub sleeps6

JenniferRating, 5 stars1 day ago
An absolute must stay! Roddys Cottage is immaculate inside and the hot tub paired with the scenery is amazing. We really enjoyed our time at this accomodation. The recommendation for the Maghera Inn was very much appreciated too (fabulous food!) check- in was seamless and John was quick to respond to my messages in the lead up to the stay. I would definitely come back to Roddy's cottage.

An art and garden lover's hideaway

SaraRating, 5 stars1 week ago
A lovely warm welcoming place to stay. Mike had so many personal touches to make you feel at home. The artwork and the garden around the house was beautiful with so much to see. A short drive to great hikes in the Mourne mountains. And with the hot tub and the film projector there was plenty to do in the evenings.

This cottage was excellently furnished, very modern and the decor was beautifully finished. Great sized space with everything there you could’ve needed, the hot tub was a great extra and set in a beautiful location to enjoy the countryside. Ballinderry Station Cottage - luxury stay.

MattRating, 5 stars33 months ago
Great place, in a nice and remote area. Just off a busy road you can hear some traffic but that’s totally fine. Our kids loved the garden, played some badminton, and we also enjoyed some food in the seating area outside. Spacious rooms - we slept all very well. Nice size kitchen too and well equipped. Fantastic communication with Olga, who was always easy to reach and provided some good tips about the area! We could see ourselves being back some time. Belfast/ NI is always worth a visit.
A cozy outdoor seating area is highlighted by a circular table and four wrought-iron chairs. A small pot of greenery is placed on the table, accompanied by a tray with refreshments. A wood fence and shrubs frame the tranquil patio space.

Brookhall Cottage Pear Tree

RosieRating, 5 stars7 months ago
This place is a little haven. It was cosy, comfortable and very peaceful. Although it is in the countryside, proximity to Lisburn and Royal Hillsborough are a short drive away. We had our little dog Ted with us and it was so safe to let him run around outside as all securely fenced. Pauline was friendly and responsive. I would highly recommend staying here if you want peace and beautiful surroundings. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

The Stables at Beechmount, Hillsborough Cottage

MikeRating, 5 stars64 months ago
The cottage is perfect. The cleanliness was second to none. The welcome our dog got was fantastic and the areas for her to run around in were brilliant. The outside hot and cold taps were well used. I couldn’t recommend this place enough. The offer of having the log burner lit for our arrival was an especially nice touch. The beds were comfy and clean and the kitchen was well equipped. The only problem we had was finding the gate off the main road but that was purely due to horrendous fog which is nobody’s fault. I would recommend the cottage to anyone, not just dog owners.

Pike Cottage 4 bed, Hillsborough

GinaRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Just home for one day and I already miss being at the cottage. I think we found a home away from home. The cottage has everything you need to feel right at home from basic amenities like dish washer tablets to vegetable oil and tea to a broad selection of pillows to match your own preference. John has been nothing but kind and helpful. He has been an exceptional host that even went out of his way to organize people taking care of icy roads for us. I really enjoyed talking to him and he went out of his way to give us recommendations. The cottage was super clean and warm, when we arrived on our first icy evening. I could not have asked for more. The warmth the cottage radiates can ok only be rivaled by its fantastic host. Can't wait to get back. 11 out of 10! Can highly recommend
The cottage exterior features a light-colored façade adorned with colorful flower pots at the entrance. A traditional lantern is mounted beside the door, and a skylight is visible on the roof. The well-maintained gardens and surrounding greenery create a serene atmosphere.

The Barn - Hillsborough

AnnaRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Myself and my husband stayed at the barn for our daughter’s first Christmas, along with our golden retriever. It was the perfect home from home, with a cosy interior and idyllic surroundings. We were there for two weeks but really felt like we could’ve stayed a lot longer! Really couldn’t recommend the barn enough. We’re already planning our next trip back!

Eden Cottage

AngelaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We have just got home from a wonderful 3 nights stay at Eden Cottage. Everything was absolutely lovely and we immediately felt right at home and could easily have lived there and did not want to leave. Beautifully private outlook at both the front and the back of the property ,giving you a real chance to escape from neighbours and to just have some peace. Beautifully appointed and a very comfortable house. It has a lovely homely feel to it. Rachel responded quickly to any queries that I may have had and she went above and beyond by posting an expensive phone charger back to us that we had inadvertently left behind . It was very generous and helpful of her. A great host! Eden Cottage is situated in a beautiful area and it was ideal for us to visit family. Hopefully will be back soon.

A Tranquil Northern Ireland Retreat – Highly Recommend! Dear Hugh and Jacky, My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at your beautiful place during our visit to Northern Ireland, and we cannot say enough about the wonderful experience we had. The peaceful surroundings were the perfect escape, allowing us to truly unwind and enjoy the serene atmosphere. The thoughtful touches, such as the fresh apple juice, milk, bread, and especially the delicious organic eggs, added such a personal and generous touch to our stay. It’s the little details like these that make all the difference, and we truly appreciated the care you put into ensuring our comfort. Thank you again for making our stay so memorable and peaceful! Warmest regards, José Diego and Maria Monroy

Hemp Cottage

PaulRating, 5 stars8 months ago
We Stayed at Hemp Cottage from the 3rd to the 16th of August 2024 - It was lovely meeting Rachel and Tom who are very freindly and provided us with tips and some Salad from the garden. Our girls fell in love with Lola the cat who is very freindly and waited for us in the Morning and Evening and the cottage and the surrounding garden was a great thing to have to unwind after travelling to see family and friends. The cottage is a very clean and well designed place and its location is very good for Tours anywhere in Northern Ireland and beyond to Dublin. We stayed relatively locally as my family come from Moira but I saw a lot more of Strangford and the area around than I would have done if I rented a place near where I live. Its abpit 25 mins to Belfast 70 mins or so down to dublin and the seaside and Winterfell for Game of throne enthusiasts is just around the corner so its a bit of a gem for Couples and Families wishing to relax. Thanks Rachel and Tom for Having us ! Paul and Conny
