Bungalow vacation rentals in Lisburn and Castlereagh

Well we were blown away when we arrived, this place is amazing!! From little extra touches to the incredible nautical theme to the most comfortable bed we've ever slept him, Carol really has thought of everything. The washer dryer was particularly handy as it meant we could travel light. We barely spent any time in Belfast really, it's worth going away just to see Whiteabbey really. I'd highly recommend a day sailing with Elwyn up the road in Carrickfergus and an indulgent evening at the Sister. Public transport links are really good, we don't drive and that really didn't matter. You won't find a view like that anywhere else. Book it now!

Bronagh's cottage is a delightful place to stay, peaceful and rural but only a few minutes drive into Belfast, Hollywood and the fantastic coast on the Ards peninsula. Cosy and warm on a November visit, well equipped, and a lovely friendly welcome from Bronagh with delicious home baked bread and biscuits, thank you!.

We spent a long time choosing a house to live in and chose this one - and it was the right and most convenient decision! Despite minor flaws (such as mold in the corners due to high humidity and the close location of the sea, unsharpened knives...) we had a simply heavenly vacation! For us, the most important factors in choosing a place to stay were warmth and quiet, as well as separate accommodation from the owners - and we got all of this in full! Upon arrival and all the following days, the house was very warm and cozy. It was also very quiet at night, despite the close location of the road - and we all slept like babies. And the view from the window was simply fabulous - the Irish Sea is simply amazing both during the day and at night, both during calm and during a storm. We are very grateful to the owners for a nice house and attitude towards guests!! We did not want to leave and felt at home!! We are looking forward to the next meeting!! We want to come only to this cozy house!

Perfect stay

My family and I absolutely loved staying at Helen’s cottage in Antrim. The home was clean and comfortable and we loved having various rooms to sit in at different times of the day. The cottage gardens are exquisite. We could have stayed sitting in the gardens all day except we had places to be and see. Helen was gracious and so helpful. We were tourists from America and doing tourist things but also researching our Irish ancestry. Helen was so helpful at answering our questions and even providing helpful contacts. The cottage is a pleasant walk from Castle Gardens which we thoroughly enjoyed and wished we had more time to explore everyday of our stay. We all would stay again in Helen’s cottage.

Lovely property, absolutely stunning surroundings. Check in was super easy and such an efficient team managing the place. Always on hand, super responsive and ready to help. Had a lovely, relaxing stay. Honestly the views through the giant windows are spectacular!

We had a relaxing break away and would definitely recommend. No noise can be heard from the house, and when you open the doors or windows, all you hear is the ocean. The beach is on your doorstep. You can walk along the coastline to Ballywalter when the tide is out- approx 2.5km. The house has a relaxing feel, and beautifully furnished with all amenities needed; very cosy and comfortable.

We had a lovely weekend away, perfect spot for a relaxing break in a cosy environment. The hot tub and outdoor garden area is very well setup and easy to use. There is only one car parking space at the front of the property but there is additional around the back which is safe and secure, it is useful to know this information also prior to arrival. Patrick’s instructions regarding check in and the general use of the house (Heating, hot tub instructions etc) was very helpful and there was a lovely welcome pack of local goodies on arrival. We would definitley stay again.

Was greeted and let in my brian’s mums who was helpful and friendly , place was beautifully warm on my arrival which was so welcome as id had very long drive . The place is so cute , my cuter than it looks in the photos. It Had everything I needed and everything worked perfectly , was very clean and for me the n location was perfect, I will be back , thanku
