As soon as we entered the boat house it felt magical. It really is beautiful and we had a very cosy few days. The sea sounds and view through the window make tranquil surroundings to feel truly away from it all. Really easy to get into central Belfast on the train or toward Larne. Great connections. A big thank you Carol our host for a perfect stay.

We had a relaxing break away and would definitely recommend. No noise can be heard from the house, and when you open the doors or windows, all you hear is the ocean. The beach is on your doorstep. You can walk along the coastline to Ballywalter when the tide is out- approx 2.5km. The house has a relaxing feel, and beautifully furnished with all amenities needed; very cosy and comfortable.

Lovely bungalow, clean and tidy. Just what we were looking for when working away for the week! Will definitely look to stay again when working in the area.

We had the joy of enjoying Christmas in the beautiful well equipped home. Carole had it beautifully decorated for Christmas. Even though it was so close to the town, it was very private. The back garden was very secure for the dog. It was so handy to everything (public transport, groceries, plenty of coffee shops, restaurants etc and most importantly, it was close to the beach, mountains and rivers. I will definitely be back.

We booked a 2 night stay at Ellen's place for attending a wedding. Ellen was very communicative and helpfully provided a travel cot and high chair for our toddler. We were met when we arrived by Maureen who was very friendly and made check in easy, and had also provided extra bread/milk/cereal/ham/biscuits which we weren't expecting. We enjoyed our stay, very comfortable and clean, a home from home! Would book again. Thankyou Ellen and Maureen!

Everything was great for our large family. The house is long and has multiple common areas, so the kids could play or watch tv and it never disturbed the rest of us and adults didn't need to stay quite when the kids went to bed. The Wifi is well setup with repeaters around the house. Gary even decorated for Christmas with a tree set up and plenty of other decorations which was very much appreciated. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Hillcrest View.

Maria was very responsive even with all my questions. The space was beautiful and serene. We had a wonderful time!

This place is fantastic. Beautiful views over the lake and even though on a estate you feel like you are the only house on the lake. very close to shops and restaurants. House is very well kitted out and David very responsive.

The cottage is a beautiful place set in very private and peaceful surroundings. It is kept very clean and is decorated in a modetn but homely way. The HotTub was such a bonus after a long day keeping the kids busy! CLOUGHEY playpark and beach is only minutes away. Highly recommend!

Great spot, especially if you are traveling with a car. More space than the photos suggest with everything clean & tidy. The property also comes with all the amenities & extras you might need. Hosts were friendly and quick to respond. Overall highly recommended!
