Springwood Studios

Heather made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Helpful, friendly and spent time highlighting the 'must do' walks. The studio is in a wonderful location. Its on the very doorstep of all the scenic, exciting walks in this beautiful area. whilst being a lovely 15 minute river walk away from the town centre. There is an abundance of birdlife which is active all day long n the area. The studio itself is cosy has all the basics you need and the views are superb. The sound of bird song and a babbling river just create a relaxed vibe which we loved. Loved it we would love to comeback.

Would definitely recommend the hideaway for any special occasion or if you just want to treat yourself!

The Annex at Ryefield Lodge

GemmaRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We spent a few days at The Annex over the new year period. The weather was shocking but we got a lovely warm welcome from Greg and the place was cosy and inviting. The location is perfect; it's so peaceful yet you can pop along to the village shop in a couple of minutes and there are friendly pubs to walk to. Holmfirth is just a five minute drive away. The Annex is a great place to stay and Greg and Mandy are right there if you need anything whilst respecting your privacy and leaving you to it. I would highly recommend this property and look forward to returning.

Luxury spacious lodge with lake view and hot tub

Sally ElizabethRating, 5 stars2 days ago
This was my 2nd time at Pendle View having previously stayed with friends in Fiona’s Twin Lake Lodge. This time I was treating my parents. Unfortunately there was a leak with the boiler and despite trying to sort all morning Fiona was unable to with it being bank holiday. She offered us to cancel or stay in her other lodge on site called Lake View. I was initially disappointed purely because I knew how lovely and spacious the other lodge was, I know this was out of her control and just one of those things but of course I wanted the best for my parents. To my surprise the twin lake lodge was just as beautiful, the hot tub is at the front on this one beside the lovely rattan furniture so offers better views of the hills. The Kitchen & Bathrooms are stocked with everything you need. Fiona had left us Prosecco and even cream eggs (with it being Easter Mon) along with water by the beds. I was also given a partial refund for the disappointment/different lodge. We cannot thank Fiona enough!!

Stone Moor Lodge: Justin's Peak District Base Camp

SteffRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This space was exactly what we were after for a long weekend in the Peak District. The place was beautifully decorated, had every amenity we needed in the kitchen and bathroom (including jams, honey, oats), and Justin provided us with the most thorough and detailed welcome pack we'd seen. Also, SO grateful for blackout curtains and LOVED the hammock and swinging chair to relax in the sun at the end of the day. Thanks so much Justin, would definitely recommend 😊

Lovely little place - well designed to maximise the space of what is essentially a little studio apartment. Five minute walk into the little town. Handful of little shops, pubs and cafes - most dog friendly. Ten minute walk back (relatively steep hill!). Peter friendly and welcoming. Would stay again.

Stunning 2-bedroom Log Cabin

AngelaRating, 5 stars6 days ago
We had an idyllic stay at Jo and Mick's log cabin. Jo has really put her heart into the holiday home: it is immaculate and beautifully presented. The view of the pond and gardens to wake up to each morning makes your heart sing and the accommodation is calming and peaceful. Jo and Mick are lovely hosts. Jo very kindly gifted us home-made jam, chutney and flapjacks on our arrival, as well as milk, tea, cheese and crackers. This was really thoughtful and much appreciated. The cabin is well located for Longton nature reserve, Booths, Martin Mere, Ainsdale beach and Preston itself. Internet connection is excellent, beds are comfy, wet room/shower good and lounge cosy board games as well as TV (my two are now Scrabble devotees!). Jo really has thought of everything and her love and pride of the property shine through. Highly recommended and would happily stay again.

Cosy detached bungalow. Overlooking woodland.

PhilippeRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Steven and Janette were the ultimate hosts. Their property is relaxing with a beautiful view of their lovely secluded garden. Everything was clean and tidy, milk and even biscuits were provided on arrival. They went out of their way to help us out, and even offered to drive us to our friends nearby as we in Manchester for a funeral. We cannot fault them nor their property, their kindness was truly appreciated on what was a difficult weekend for us. Thank you so much!
