Monthly Rentals in Lakeside

Heron's Rest was the perfect setting to rest and recalibrate. It has that off the beaten road feel and yet you are close to modern amenities. The house itself is very clean, scent free and comfortable. The outdoor space is welcoming and walkable with paths that take you around the small lakes and river behind the house. Lorraine responded quickly and with kindness to our questions and concerns. I hope to return to what they refer to as the center of the world. I would definitely stay here again.

This was probably the most beautiful air bnb I’ve ever stayed in! Truly did not want to leave. Dennis was so kind and set us up with a ton of amenities (we appreciated the wine and bathbombs) and helped to show us how to work the wood fire stove. We loved walking on the property, seeing the birds, and cooking. We’ll be back soon ♥️

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The property was spotless, had a great layout/floor plan, and was exactly as described in the listing. The location was perfect— quiet and peaceful. Igor and Kate were incredibly accommodating, responsive, and thoughtful, even leaving a welcome note accompanied with a bottle of red wine. The beds were spacious, and the amenities provided were above and beyond. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Wonderful home and location. Absolutely beautiful area. We had such a great week enjoying the foliage, walks on the beach and visiting all the spots our kids love in nearby towns. But the star of this vacation was this home - comfortable, roomy and cozy, so clean and the kitchen had everything I needed to cook all week. My in-laws were in the casita and they loved it, and I loved them being there. Our best airbnb experience to date. Worth every penny. Exceeded our expectations on every level.
