Apartment vacation rentals in Lake Wakatipu

Perfect place to stay, centrally located close to everything. Neat and tidy inside with great views (of the gondola and Lake Wakatipu) on the outside. We had lovely weather during our stay so made use of the outside furniture too. Dawn was informative and quick to update us about our stay. Would 100% stay again.

This is my second time staying here, and the scenery is still picturesque. The cleanliness is amazing, truly spotless. The kitchen is fully equipped, even providing a rice cooker, chopsticks, and a blender. The variety of coffee and tea supplies is abundant! They offer teacups, coffee mugs, and wine glasses—almost everything you might need! This time feels even better than last because the host has replaced the shower room with a new one. The only small downside is that the downstairs tenants often make noise after 9 PM. However, during the first month, when there were no tenants downstairs, it was absolutely perfect. The host's responses are also very prompt! I highly recommend this property. The most important thing is that the quality of the bedding is truly excellent!

This place is a gem! Beautiful, pristine, and comfy. Robyn is a top notch host and made sure we had everything we could possibly need! The kitchen was very well stocked and even had goodies like champagne and chocolates. The kids loved the trampoline! Everyone in our party enjoyed the stay and wanted to stay!

Communicating was good, Jonathan always replied quickly. Apartment was lovely and spacious with everything you need. Although there is a regular bus service into Queenstown you do need a car to enable you to see more of the area. Plenty of walking and other activities to do.

Great location as not in a busy area but close to everything. The hotel is fab and has everything you need. There is a decent hill to walk up and down to get to the location so just keep that in mind if you are in foot and carrying bags etc. but it was good to walk off the food each evening.

Lucy and Luke’s place was gorgeous. An easy walk to the centre and the view of the remarkables was so special to wake up to. It had everything we needed and the complimentary drinks were a nice touch. They were super kind to extend our check out for an hour and a half too, which helped as we had an evening flight. We had an absolutely lovely stay at Alan’s place! The Airbnb was beautiful and in a good location between the airport and town center. When we arrived, Alan gave us some great tips, including how easy it is to get around by bus. The bus stops are just down the road from the Airbnb and made going into town and to the airport super easy! We would definitely stay again:)

Couldn't have asked for a better experience for our first time in NZ. The location of Susan's Airbnb is perfect. over looking the lake with majestic mountains staring back at you. the place is exactly as described and everything is as shown in the photos. Could not recommend this property any more highly!! Loved our way to short stay!!

Jacqui’s pad was perfect for my teenage son and I. Easy base to come and go from by foot, bikes and car, while we explored the awesome Queenstown and surrounds playground! Jacqui supplied everything we needed to be comfortable (thanks Jacqui!). The pad itself is super clean, comfy beds and complete with a grassy balcony strip (perfect for yoga with mountain & lake views). Jacqui has lots of beautiful books that give deeper insight into Aotearoa and its people, which I appreciated. Jacqui’s unique touches throughout make it feel homely! Once you get your directional bearings for lakefront access (due to ongoing arterial road development) your sweet as! Use Hallenstein as your orientating point, turn left, head down the stairs or, take the next street down or, follow Hallenstein to the bottom, plenty of options and really not that difficult! Thanks again Jacqui, Mitch and I had a rad stay!

Melanie and Clint were great hosts, provided clear, detailed instructions and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. The Airbnb was beautiful, clean, well laid out and very functional with the most incredible views. We also got to briefly meet their dogs which was so nice! Felt so lovely to be able to escape the sometimes hectic feel of downtown Queenstown and retreat to our own little paradise. Definitely worth hiring a car/planning for ubers but if you don’t mind hills, it’s walkable into town as well. Will be staying again on our next visit to Queenstown for sure.

Patricia was awesome always responsive within an hour and nothing too much. The place was immaculate. The price was reasonable for the area & space, although I would have liked abit more for money but who doesn’t. Haha. If your tall the shower might be abit small as has a roof (nothing we had seen before) but probably a stipulation requirement. Make sure you get milk for your tea and coffee before getting to the house. Tea and coffee supplied but not milk. New Zealand is hilly and so this house is up a steep hill from town, so isn’t for the faint hearted. However the view at the top was always great. We enjoyed the property and the hot tub definitely warmed us up on the cooler days.

Robyn was a great host and made sure we had everything we needed while still giving us plenty of privacy. An ideal location away from the hustle of town and a very short drive to a wide range of shops and services. Highly recommend Robyn’s place for both long and short stays .

Great stay and lots of snow

Great location with great views and close to town, restaurants and walking trails. The place is perfect for 2 couples. We loved it.

Wonderful, well appointed modern Queenstown townhouse not too far from diwntown but not too close, either, making it an ideal location for us. Clean, modern, and situated at an elevation that orovides stunning views of the lake and the Remarkables. Comfortable beds, quiet neighborhood, and all the facilities needed for a great holiday.

The view from this apartment in unbelievable! It is so beautiful. Everything else was excellent also - comfortable bed, good shower and we enjoyed the community hot tub.
