Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Lake Rousseau

The house was beautiful. The pool was nice. The only downside was the house is very close to a very very busy road. It was great that dogs were allowed but would have preferred a fenced in back yard. Jesus and family were extremely nice.

I wish we booked more nights at this fantastic place… this place was like a dream to us. Really cosy. Everything was there to make your stay comfortable. I can highly recommend this place!!

The house was in a quiet neighborhood and pretty private. It had everything we needed. Road getting to the house was a bit rough but was overall a perfect place for us! I would definitely rent it again.

My husband and I love nature so this was absolutely the perfect fit for us. It is magical. Waking up for the sunrise and seeing all the birds/alligators/ beautiful views. This house is also the perfect location- right next to rainbow springs, crystal river, silver springs- where you can rent kayaks and see the beautiful water and manatees! Matt provides kayaks at his house as well which we took advantage of. When we weren’t out, we loved using the amenities of the house- hot tub, grill, dart board. The kitchen has everything you need to cook at the house. Matt was also very responsive and gave us great advice on where to eat, where to hike, and what to do. We would come back!

We only stayed one night but we found Jim’s place to be very comfortable and true to the description in the listing. It is located on a very private and quiet piece of property. The home is nicely decorated and was very clean. It has everything needed to ensure an enjoyable experience.

We loved this place! Extremely pet friendly for our pooch Jack!🐾🐾🐾 He enjoyed the fenced yard so much! We loved the fire pit and quiet neighborhood. The kitchen was spotless and we'll stocked. A joy to cook our healthy meals in!💚 We loved the comfort and would absolutely stay here again! Scott and Susan were wonderful hosts! Very quick response for any communications!

Lagoon Point has become our #1 go-to every year for our family vacation. It was clean, spacious, accommodating, with an "at home feeling" atmosphere... so many spacious areas for our grandkids to lounge around! The pool was great... easy access to the beautiful property and water access for our airboat.. and very private! The host made it known that she was available if needed. She emailed several times before our stay informing me of what the house had available for my family. Easy check in and chech out. Everything was as listed and pictured (plus some!) This place is 100% to us!

We had such a peaceful and wonderful stay at Kate and John's Airbnb! The property itself is absolutely gorgeous, offering a serene and relaxing atmosphere. Kate and John were incredibly friendly and welcoming, greeting us at check-in and making sure we had everything we needed. Their sweet dog, Spike, was a delightful bonus! The space was well-stocked with everything we could possibly need, and the bed was super comfortable. Evenings spent in the hot tub were the perfect way to unwind. Kate and John also provided great recommendations for local grocery stores and beautiful parks for walking, which made our stay even better. Overall, this was an incredible stay, and we would absolutely come back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful and cozy getaway!

My girlfriend and I stayed at Barbara’s apartment for a friends wedding held at Silver Springs. The location was perfect for a weekend of wedding activities and kayaking Silver Springs. Barbara’s apartment was a huge value. It was not only a perfect location for what we needed, it was immaculately clean, a perfect amount of space for our stay, had a big bathroom, and Barbara went above and beyond providing extra towels and condiments just in case her guests might need them! Barbara’s place was a way higher value than you’d get at a hotel for half the price of a room for the night. Overall, we were incredibly impressed and would love to stay again for any future Ocala adventures.

Thea’s place is a wonderful spot. The deck and the view were such a pleasure! The house is well maintained and spotless.

Steve was a wonderful host and his place is just amazing! The area is so picturesque - gorgeous, peaceful horse farms everywhere. The apartment was immaculate and so well-appointed. Very spacious with room to unpack and truly feel right at home. I loved the double closets in the bedroom which allowed more than enough room to unpack everything and lovely spacious bathroom (double vanities) also with great closet and storage space. The kitchen was perfect, finished with everything you might need, and the living room area was comfortable, homey and nicely decorated. I really appreciated all the special touches, lighting, amenities that made it so easy to settle in. My dog and I loved walking the property and surrounding area every day. Steve was so helpful and accommodating as I extended my stay twice and he went out of his way to be helpful. HIGHLY RECOMMEND - it's a dream spot!

Our second time here at Brooke’s home. We have found our go-to place to get away from the hustle and bustle of living in Land O Lakes with our daughter and grandchildren. It’s quiet and it has everything you need. The view of the lake is spectacular. I love staying here and will be back soon.

The accommodations were really great for my holiday weekend stay! We used the lovely firepit -swing area every day. Bobby was responsive and helpful. The kitchen had everything I needed. Coffee overlooking the mist rising off the water in the morning was just so beautiful. The river is amazing… the hawks, ibis, anhinga, herons, and so many other birds were so cool to hear, and watch!

Great place to stay. Easy check in, very responsive host. Place is close to downtown. Would definitely stay again.

Absolutely loved our stay! So cozy and beautiful! The hot tub too was the cherry on top. Also close to lots of wildlife! Coming back again soon! Jennifer also is the best!

The tranquility of the back deck was incedible. The location was perfect for visiting our friends at Chassahowitzka Campground (1.5 miles away). I highly recommend this place for anyone wanting to explore the area, especially the manatees and the three or seven sisters springs. One extra bonus was watching the albino squirrel from the front porch in the morning. We had an issue and were very responsive.

We had a wonderful time at Casey’s place and were sorry to leave. The house and grounds are simply wonderful and the peace and quiet of the early mornings and evenings in particular was magical. So many birds to listen to and watch, and the little alligator and deer in the forest opposite. We took out the Jon boat and enjoyed the quiet river and explored the surrounding nature areas and forests on walks. The house has everything you need and there are so many places to sit and rest outside. We hope to be back some time.

We had a great time at this location. It was in a lovely wooded neighborhood that was safe and had access to the Rainbow River. We used a lot of the toys provided by the host including the golf cart and the boat trailer to get the kayaks to the river. The house had just what we needed for sleeping comfortably and relaxing at the end of the day. We didn’t get a chance to use the kitchen or fire pit but it was very kind to provide wood for the fire pit! The kitchen had a nice stove as well! The host was also very very attentive and responsive to questions. They made sure we checked in even though we arrived much later than expected. I would wholeheartedly recommend this location to anyone wanting to spend time on the river. The private community access was a huge bonus and benefit!

Leslie was very responsive. The setting is private and the covered deck on rainy days wonderful to relax on. Leslie provided much appreciated extras like healthier cooking pans, sharp knives, a cutting board, and a medicine kit which are not usually provided in my years of experience. A word of caution apparently regarding airbnb policy. Check for potential price changes on your reservation Even IF you are subtracting something!!! Because I didn’t end up taking my dog with (deleting the pet fee), it changed my reservation and a $142.20 increase (county tax fee) was added! 😱

My husband and I just had the absolute, most amazing stay at this cabin in the woods. The hosts communicated thoroughly and were very responsive to any inquiries we had. The photos and description are all 100% accurate but don’t show the true beauty and serenity of this hidden gem. There were several kayaks w/lifejackets, firewood (with starters), fishing poles w/tackle, coffee/tea provided. Kitchen is fully stocked with anything you could possibly need. Pack your food, drinks and clothes-that is it! They have everything needed for the most relaxing and wonderful get-away!

Very nice home, located within 20 minutes to the springs, hiking, and restaurants. We loved the seclusion, the home’s architecture, and the detached BBQ screened-in shelter. The large backyard is great for the activities they provide (cornhole, mini soccer, and tree swinging). We were there in the summer but the water level in the back was too shallow to launch the canoes but that’s no problem with tons of local kayaking options. The house is on a 12-minute drive dirt road that can be difficult to find at night. Also, the house does not have any cell reception but the house has ok WiFi speeds to stream movies and use FaceTime (voice); that’s the price to be in seclusion, peace, and nature. Check in and out were a breeze and the indoor amenities are nice. We recommend this home for a nice getaway.
