Overall a good place to stay for a couple of nights. There is no lock box on arrival as it states we were met by the hosts. Very quirky place as a converted milking shed. There was no cooking oil left - we text Sue to see if there was anymore but got no response and had to go out and buy some to cook with. That aside, would recommend it as a good place to stay especially if you have pets.

We stayed at Ngaire’s private guesthouse and had a wonderful time. The huge property was perfect for the kids to play, and the private beach with direct access to the lake and kayaks was an absolute highlight. The accommodation was very clean and well equipped. Ngaire is incredibly kind and thoughtful, and our children immediately saw her as a loving grandmother. A beautiful place in an idyllic setting – highly recommended.

We had a great stay here, the bed was very comfortable and the spa was very relaxing! Loved having all the stocked food for breakfast and everything else we needed. Thanks for having us!

Brenda's place is wonderful! You feel right at home, surrounded by nature and her beautiful garden. Everything was spotless and well-maintained. Brenda is a fantastic host who suggested some local attractions to visit. We really enjoyed our stay there!

Great place to stay. Everything you need for a couple of nights. Quite a walk into town but the beach is a couple of minutes away.

We really enjoyed staying at Aaron's place. It offered plenty of space, and the cabinets were stocked with everything you might need, including washing powder and extra towels. The large backyard, with its monkey bars, was a great feature. The location is also ideal, just a short walk to the redwoods. The unit is at the bottom of the main house, so you can hear footsteps during the day and some TV noise in the evening, but it was always quiet after 10pm, allowing for a peaceful night's sleep. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay.

Leslie was very very helpful and friendly! She goes all the way out to help us feel at home even though we checked in pretty late at night. In the morning, she would also come down to chat with us and sent us off. The place is really comfortable and clean as described as the posting. Would definitely return for another stay :)

We loved our stay here . The pod may be small but it is so well equipped and so comfortable. We liked being so near the Redwoods and enjoyed visiting the thermal attractions . If we are ever lucky enough to return to New Zealand we would stay again 🙂

Margriet's place was our first place to stay in New Zealand and we were delighted by how clean, well equipped and charming it was. The outdoor space was gorgeous and we enjoyed the hot tub one evening. While the kitchenette was small, it was well equipped and perfect for whipping up simple meals for two.

Enjoyed our stay at this accommodation was very spacious for our family and near all of the great sites. we appreciated all of the recommendation for things to see within the community loved the pool and hot tub. Would stay at this accommodation in the future again.

We stayed one night for visiting Hobbinton and would come back! The tinyhouse hast everything you need and such a beautiful view. Just the mercerator was new for us, since it is good to hear. Georgina and her husband were really friendly and the dogs very nice.

We had absolutely amazing stay! We took evening banquet at Hobbiton and arrived almost at midnight. Suzie kindly left us rooms open and light turned on. Rooms were like a beacon in the night, promising long-awaited rest and comfort. All what we regretted that couldn’t stay longer. Breakfast variety was so great! homemade yogurt, milk, fruits, toasts and many more!

We stayed at Glendyr’s place for only 2 nights. It was a great location for us to meet up with family members who were staying at other nearby places. The washer and dryer were a definite plus!

Hi Karen You have a fabulous place here. Love the setting and views. The gardens are brilliant. The way you have set up the little chalet is perfect. So close to your home and yet extremely private. I don't see how you could improve on something that is absolutely perfect. Having a absolutely gorgeous dog around the place and the few sheep in the paddock really makes the place feel homely. We had a magnificent stay and would highly recommend. Thanks again Stephen and Adele

Incredible, and BEAUTIFUL place to stay!

The house is very beautiful with a large garden planted with various fruit trees. Jennifer was also very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and the bed and comforter were of good quality and comfortable. It was also very quiet at night. A good choice for traveling.

Peaceful batch tucked away yet close to beach and everything convenient in Papamoa. Penny was very welcoming and ensured we enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend, would stay here again!

What a find! Such a comfortable bed in a sweet Airbnb in Arapuni near the Waikato River Trails and close to the world famous in Arapuni Rhubarb Cafe with delicious food! Actually, mine was a last-minute booking due a last-minute work reschedule, and so I decided to take two days for some much-needed down time. A perfect place to do that! Gorgeous scenery and drives to do nearby; places to walk and sit looking at the looking at river. Thank you to Nicki for accepting my booking later in the day. The Airbnb is in two separate spaces with a connecting area under cover with a perfectly appointed green table and two chairs. A beautiful and well-kept garden. Nicki was helpful, friendly and gave me good ideas of where to go for rest and relaxation. Highly recommended for a weekend or few days getaway.

Had a wonderful stay. The place was amazing. It was my first time leaving the US and going overseas. Now it’s become my mission to find a way back. Worth every penny spent! Can’t begin to thank Rachael enough.
