Vacation rentals with lake access in Lake Placid

Understandable why they are super hosts. They were completely accommodating quickly, responsive, and genuinely seem to care about our experience. The home was clean. The area was quiet and safe. The listing was as described. Getting to town was easy and the boat dock was conveniently close. Would absolutely recommend this property to anyone for their vacation needs. And should we go back to Lake Placid again? We will be reaching out to rebook this property. Can’t thank them enough for making our stay and my son‘s 21st birthday celebration a good one !!

Cheryl’s place is better than the description…very comfortable and inviting. She has every tool needed in kitchen. We loved the glass washer! Bed in master was very comfortable. Towels in bathroom were ample and thickness was nice! We would definitely stay again if in area.

Great location on the big lake with awesome dock. Local boat ramp just down the road made it easy! 2nd stay there and can’t wait to go back

Cathy's place was as described and she even offers a tea kettle which, in my experience, is rare for an Airbnb! Lake Jackson is directly across the street and there's a great view from the kitchen, living room, and master bedroom. The front and back patios are very nice, but unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate to where we could enjoy them much. The area is indeed walkable and Cathy's place is close to US 27 as well as a variety of restaurants and shopping. I'm not sure I'll ever be back in Sebring, but if I am, I will definitely check the availability of Cathy's place!

We were recommended this place by a relative that had a great experience. We were also very pleased and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. Beautiful lake setting! Wished we had a bit more time to take advantage of what the place had to offer (e.g., kayaks) but it was a short weekend for us and a cold weather snap.

Unfortunately we were only able to stay 1 night of our 14 nights reservation due to a medical issue. We would have loved to have stayed for 2 weeks because the place was very nice. Everything was as advertised. Jennifer, the co-host treated us very respectfully and understood what was going on. Would like to come back here and enjoy the house and surrounding area.

What a wonderful place for a family Christmas gathering…or any occasion! The kitchen is huge and we cooked everything from tomato soup to crab cakes to peppermint bark — super fun. We ate and played games together at the large country dining table, watched movies together on the enormous sofa. Some of us were obsessed with completing a puzzle at the smaller game table in the living room, others played video games, ping pong, and shuffle board in the game room. Outside, we played bocce ball on the lawn, jumped in the water and went out on the lake on a pontoon boat rented from Lake June Boat Rentals, which was great. We had a fantastic vacation that was made possible by Paris’s wonderful home. Thank you so much.

This is our 2nd Christmas staying at Tara's Lake Home in the town I grew up in!!! We had such an amazing, peaceful time. The house exceeds expectations and Tara's kindness is greatly appreciated!

My partner and I booked this place to stargaze in the nearby state park. The stay was very nice and I would highly recommend it. The hosts were very responsive.

Kelly's place is very nice, clean and the dock is great! The shower is amazing! We brought our boat and tied it to the dock but there are pontoon boats and jet skis for rent as well in case you don't have one to bring. We caught fish off the dock and the breeze and view were great. The town is laid back and the people are friendly. We would recommend this place to anyone wanting a relaxing stay!

I had a wonderful extended stay with my bass boat. Many near by lakes to fish and the house has a roof overhang to keep my boat covered and out of the weather. I will return again!

our stay was very pleasant. This place was minutes away from the Spartan race which is why I rented it. we were pleased with the tranquility of this place. The cottage was so cute!

My best friend lives in Lake Placid and we chose an Air B N B for our surprise trip from Miami to celebrate her bday. This home was perfect. And sooooo clean! Had everything we needed and more! I absolutely LOVED that they had a christmas tree up in the house for the Holidays! Although we would have liked to walk on the dock the water was a lil to high to get on and enjoy it but we are definitely coming back here again for our yearly “Mom Prom” event in March. Hopefully by then we can access the dock. Thanks Josh for sharing your charming cottage with us! It was perfect!

The house was just big enough to fit my needs. Neighborhood was a little noisy, but over all was peaceful. House was very clean and has everything one needs to enjoy afew days away. I would recommend this house for a single person or a couple.

Buttonwood is a wonderful, friendly community in a convenient location with great amenities! The cottage we were in was 100% ADA accessable with a wheelchair lift to get up the steps, appropriate height sinks, and even a ramp to the fold-down shower seat. The kitchen was very well equipped and had brand new, high quality appliances. Lovely place to stay!
