House vacation rentals in Lake Cumberland

This was perfect for our large group. We didn't want for anything. So many options with a view of the beautiful lake (pool and hot tub area, fire pit, large porch with the option to have windows opened or closed). Plenty of space to spread out or all gather together. No complaints here and would definitely rent again.

This was one of my family's favorite houses we've stayed in together! Loved the big front porch and how every room had it's own bathroom. Miranda was such a sweet host, adding personal touches like sound machines and baby monitors to make our stay even more comfortable. She had even decorated the house for the holidays when we were there for Thanksgiving!

Great family gathering spot! Our extended family (four generations including 8 adults and 2 children) returned to Joy’s place (our second stay) for Thanksgiving weekend. It was a perfect place for us to meet. The large kitchen/family room area allowed us to be all together comfortably, a huge plus. But when the hubbub got to be too much, the house had plenty of other spaces where people could hangout or relax with a book. Joy is a super host - very friendly, clear instructions, and accommodating. Definitely recommend.

This place is amazing, super quiet and very private. It made for a relaxing stay after doing all the touristy things around town. The hot tub is comfortable and private, with a beautiful view of the trees. We will definitely be back!

This house did not disappoint! Went for a family reunion with extended family ages 8-80! Something for everyone to enjoy. The great room was perfect for our large gathering with plenty of space for games, kids and visiting. Kitchen was perfect for our needs (some repair issues Clay is addressing did not overly affect our stay - he’s super responsive and helpful!). Table for 8 plus counter height seating for another 6 or so in the kitchen itself. Tons of bedrooms offer privacy and comfort for everyone. 2 showers on main floor, one in basement and one on 2nd floor. Basement is teenager heaven! Poor, shuffleboard, Nintendo and air hockey as well as a bar area with another refrigerator which was awesome for drinks. Hot tub outside on the porch was great. I think our favorite was the deck outside the great room had lots of seating so we could enjoy the unseasonable 60 degree weather! Never got a chance to use the fire pit looked awesome. Highly recommend - we will definitely be back!

Place is amazing! Felt like home, once we left we started to miss it. Extremely spacious, amenities were amazing. Would recommend to anyone who wants to visit Somerset!

We have been this place with other two friends families. House is beautiful and maintained. Unique part is its interior design. Everything was perfect. We will definitely looking forward to stay in future.

Great place to stay.

The house was perfect for our family reunion, and Teresea and Tim are incredibly kind and helpful hosts. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to fix all our meals, the living area has comfortable furniture for a crowd to hang out together, and it was great to have so many main floor bedrooms with their own bathroom. We loved sitting out on the deck, and the view of the lake was even better than I'd expected from the photos. We highly recommend it and hope to return again next year ourselves!

This quaint little house was perfect for our family visiting friends in Russel Springs! Felt like home! A little noise from the highway during the day but it quieted down after dark. Thank you Valerie for sharing your beautiful house!

We had an excellent stay. Our group of 13 had plenty of room and the grounds were amazing. Short trip to the marina where we had a couple boats rented. Great value and would definitely stay again.

The house was modern and updated and immaculately well-kept. It was full of thoughtful touches that made it very relaxing like plenty of coffee, plush robes and plenty of clean, soft towels. The outdoor seating was plentiful and inviting.

There are four of us in our friend group that turn 30 a couples months apart so we decided to get everyone together for a cabin weekend to celebrate and this place was perfect! It was spacious enough for everyone, which included kids running around. A favorite part for us was that after we put the kids down upstairs, everyone could still hangout downstairs and not worry too much about sound. Overall, it was a great stay! One thing that I think that's helpful to know is to bring your own shampoo/conditioner/body wash if you care about that! They do provide some, but it's similar to the hotel kind!

The check in was super easy and the place was exactly as pictured. Very clean and everything worked great.

Peaceful surroundings, everythin is set and ready to be used for indoor and outdoor eating. Quality amenities, comfortable beds, quiet and dark.

We had a wonderful time at Justin’s place. The property was so cool to explore and the house was perfect for our party of 5. I loved that it was kid friendly and so did my three nieces. We loved playing board games and the outdoor yard games were a hit as well. And at night we were super cozy on the couch while we watched a movie. The waterfalls are so special and it was so fun hiking, exploring and seeing all of the incredible wildlife! Just as with any more rural area, if you visit in the off season try calling the area restaurants ahead of time to make sure they’re open! We all said we wished we could have stayed longer and that we’d definitely love to go back. Thank you, Justin for sharing such a cool spot with us!

I came down to surprise my bestie for her birthday by bringing her daughter down with me and stayed at the Airbnb. Space was wonderful. The kitchen was well supplied with items that I needed to make a birthday cake for my friend and cook for her and her family. The location was very peaceful and I enjoyed watching the cows, calfs and donkeys. I was able to meet Lisa as she checked in often and even took time out of her day to change the porch light and offered her space for the bad weather we were expecting over the weekend if you are in the area I highly recommend a stay at this Airbnb! I know I'll be back! Thank you Lisa for a wonderful time!

Todd and Sara, Your home is the perfect weekend getaway spot. The house is even better than the pictures. Very welcoming, comfortable and cozy. You both went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. We were supplied with more than enough blankets, bathing towels, cooking supplies, shampoo & conditioner and were even welcomed with a s’more kit & a few other candies. The location is perfect, very private! Your home is SPOTLESS! ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Loved the fireplaces in every room, the speakers in the bathrooms, & the patio lights above the fire pit area in the front yard. The sunset views are amazing from the back porch. Also, enjoyed being around the front yard fire pit being accompanied by a few turkeys relaxing in the distance. I would recommend your vacation home to anyone who is looking for a peaceful and relaxing time. We will see you again in the future. Thank you for everything!

Hot tub is very nice nice coffee shop 1 min away that had great coffee but also had excellent steaks! Only about 5 min from safe harbor Jamestown marina.

We loved your home! Very clean and well stocked and close to lots of great hiking trails. The neighbor’s 3 adorable dogs which visited us were an added bonus! Will definitely come back again.
