Vacation rentals with beach access in Lake Charlevoix

The apartment in Downtown Suttons Bay was the perfect getaway location. A half block walk and you are walking down the main street in Suttons Bay for local shopping and dining. Central location for wine touring and cideries. Quick access to the Tart trail, and other outdoor activities in the area. The apartment was clean, kitchen was well stocked and we had all the amenities needed for a nice getaway. We would certainly stay at Frank and Cheryl's place again.

this place was absolutely wonderful. i came here for my fall break with my partner, and it made an incredible trip. it is extremely cute, and feels very private despite being an upstairs apartment. there was something new to do every day, and the guidebook included at the apartment helped IMMENSELY. it’s nice and modern on the inside, but still has that “up north” cozy feel that makes you want to bundle up and drink a hot chocolate, lol. everything about this stay was easy and extremely navigable. i didn’t have to think about anything regarding the place, how to get places, what to do around town— and that’s why it was absolutely perfect. i didn’t have to worry about ANYTHING. it was awesome!! we were so sad to go when it was over, and wished we could have stayed for longer. we will absolutely be coming back :)

we have stayed in Air BNB's all over the world. This is one of the best ones. Truly worth every penny. It's incredibly clean and homey. Lots of extra blankets and good amount of linens and LOVED the recommendations list. We will be back for sure!!

Stayed the night to meet up with some old friends. It was perfect for our needs (cooking together; space to play boardgames). Easy walking distance to the lake and a nice coffee spot.

This place is such a gem! It is a couple blocks to the public beach and marina at Lake Charlevoix and also walking distance to the downtown area, which is a quaint beach town right on the water. Beautiful sunsets and the fall colors were amazing around the lake! I had a conference at Boyne Mountain and it was an easy 10 minute drive. Brenda's place is exactly as described. It had everything needed in the kitchen including stove, refrig, coffee pot, microwave and all the dinnerware and utensils needed. Bathroom is off the cozy living room and there is a small table for eating or working. Wifi was fast. The bed was comfortable and the shower is right off the bedroom. The front porch is adorable and arriving at night, it was lit up with christmas lights. Responds quickly, easy check-in, super clean and she added little touches that made you feel welcome such as mints on the table and a welcome bag. We are talking about coming back next summer already!

Great location with a super host. Only small issues — no freezer for the ice pad we need for a knee issue and, the bed, though comfortable is insanely high — even with a step stool was tough for my five foot wife to get in and out of. Super thick mattress plus a couple inch topper. Incredibly well stocked and super clean. Parking was a breeze and the front deck was a real nice bonus. Wonderful experience.

Our stay at Kathy’s place was perfect! The rental was spotless upon are arrival and Kathy was extremely flexible with check in and checkout. Her communication before and during our stay was outstanding and prompt. Kathy went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable during are stay. I would definitely recommend her place and happily rent from her again in the future.

Kyle was a great host! We enjoyed every second of our long weekend getaway! The house was perfect and we loved spending time there! Would love to book again for next year at this time! 100% recommend for your stay in Traverse City, Michigan!

This place is an outdoor lovers paradise! From the houses large beautiful windows you could see the sunset every evening. I ate meals on the deck which had a nice big table to sit at. I had a bonfire in the front of the house which had a great set up of chairs already out there and saw a sky full of stars. I also took a walk on the beach (a 15 second walk) every morning 🙌🏼 The beds were so comfortable and the kitchen had all the essentials. Great host. She thought of everything in the welcome packet and responded immediately when I had a question. Can’t wait to try this place out in the summer!

The lake house was exactly as described and looked just like the photos. Plenty of space for all of us. The kitchen was well stocked. Lots of blankets and pillows. The lake was beautiful and the kayaks were really nice to have. Would definitely recommend.

We have been visiting this area for 30+years and this is now one of our favorite places to stay. So much to see and do, no reason to leave the area (except to get groceries, unfortunately there is no longer a store in town, but there is a gas station). Sunsets are outstanding!!

My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay here. Such a beautiful property! It was quiet and serene. The inside was spacious but comfortable, we felt right at home! Since it was a little chilly when we went, I was still able to enjoy the views of the lake from the couch with a cup of coffee. Brenda is a great host, very responsive, provided clear instructions, and ensured we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Will definitely be back!

We enjoyed our stay! The house was as described- very clean and nicely updated, in a quiet neighborhood. We saw gorgeous sunrises over the lake, and stunning fall colors all around. We even got to take the kayaks out to the island. We appreciated Brendan’s tips for the house and the area. The fully fenced yard was perfect for our dogs. Brendan was easy to communicate with and made sure we had a good stay.

Spent the weekend here for my wife's birthday with some friends. Great location for winery tours/local food, and everything you would need inside and out. Roger is a very responsive host and willing to do whatever it takes to make your stay as welcoming as possible. Plenty of room inside the house for sleeping for 3 adult couples, could've even fit a 4th no problem in the loft. Home was spacious and the screened in porch is a great hangout spot overlooking the lake.

This was the PERFECT home for our bachelorette party. Minutes away from the wineries we’d planned to visit. Equally close to downtown TC and SB. GORGEOUS view. They had a beautiful, pristine house full of things to do, kitchen tools, soaps etc. By far the best AirBNB thus far. Thank you!

Great location and warm welcoming home stocked with essentials plus nice touches like firewood ready hot chocolate and coffee. The facilities and pool are great. Have stayed here several times and will be coming back again.

The location was great, and Greg was great too. You never know how great a host is until something goes unplanned. The hat shower broke. We informed Greg immediately, and he simply took care of it. No stress no worry just took care of it.. If we could we would give them 6 star!

Shannon's place was absolutely beautiful!! We had a girls weekend and enjoyed walking to the beautiful beach, hanging out in the house, and exploring the area. The beds were so comfortable as were the furnishings every where. This was the perfect place for our weekend trip!
