Beautiful country house with a Jacuzzi on the shore of Cajititlán Lagoon, 40 minutes from Guadalajara. It can be used for camps, parties, meetings, retreats, or just to relax. We have satellite Internet. Inside the house there is space for 8 or 9 people, but up to 20 people can be accommodated in tents, as the land is wide enough for it. Also, because we know they're an important part of your life, your pets are always welcome.

Stayed here for a week and it was a great experience! Gerardo was very accommodating, our room was extremely clean and the staff was very friendly. There was some construction being done on the roof that got to be a little noisy in the mornings but other than that it was our favorite stay in Chapala so far! The hotel’s cafe has some really good options for reasonable pricing and the location is close to the pier, temple, shopping centers. 10/10 would recommend.

The Villa Hermitage 1880 is one of the nicest and most elegant places that I have ever been. I stayed there for two weeks and thoroughly enjoyed it. The Hosts and owners, Steve and Katia, are the nicest people and go out of their way to help you whenever possible. They are very responsive to communications. They even took me on a several hour tour of the small towns around the lake and drove me to my next location in Ajijic. They would not accept any pay for either trip. The gardens on the property are beautiful. The location on the malecon and lake are outstanding. I stayed in the Blue Room for a few days. It is a very nice room. Then, I moved to the Yellow Room. It is a bigger room, with a large private patio off the room. I spent most of my time on the patio. The views of the lake and surroundings are breathtaking from this patio and from other patios on the main level. I would highly recommend the Villa Hermitage 1880 and its hosts, Steve and Katia, to anyone.

Unforgettable experience. Delicious cafe, great breakfast, and best of all, it was to hear Stairway to heaven in violin performed by vic and nacho garcia, the Black Strings. The room is super comfortable. The terrace is very quiet. I'll definitely be back. Thank you for your hospitality. They're craks.
