Beachfront vacation rentals in Lake Atitlán

Miguel always there to care about our stay and each day he prepared the bath with clean hot volcanic water. This bath was awesome and made the difference in this stay. The place was the neighborh of the main street with artisans wich is nice. However for people who want peace, just to let you know that it was sometimes really noisy. The temescal was accessible with a cost. Internet was good to work and the place was rustic but clean and comfortable. Santa Catarina is a nice little town with friendly people. I truly enjoyed my stay and it was relatively smooth getting to Casa Sita. Terry was responsive to my messages and offered his area knowledge, which was much appreciated. I will be returning and staying at Casa Sita once the opportunity presents itself.

It was a nice place, host was very friendly, sent us a list of suggestions on where to go and where to eat. Only one room has AC, the other one has a fan, private parking, tours agency right across the street. One thing to consider bathroom and shower are separate rooms but shower door is see-through apart from that everything is great!

Anderson is super attentive and always answered any questions...thank you friend. the house we really liked adrmas of having everything basic the plus the view of the terrace to the lake, the tranquility and close to the center and tourist and commercial places of the place....recommended...back would

This slice of paradise is beyond words and you should just make the amazing decision of staying at the sunset lodge! I booked for two days and ended up staying here a week. Nothing was available so he upgraded me to the ROCK apartment. If you get the opportunity to stay in that unit take it! Luxury and nature at your finger tips. Beautiful and tranquil place. Perfect to retreat while still having easy access to the town of San Marcos. You will only want to stay here if walking up hills is not a problem for you. Getting your belongings to the house will require a private boat or an extra fee on the public boat unless you have very few things. The place is clean and has hot water and is safe. There will be other people using the beach at times but many times it’s completely private and serene. Niels is a great communicator and Victor who lives on the premises is very helpful.

The Balam Ya villas have an excellent view of Lake Atitlan. They are comfortable and the hosts are always attentive and provide very good service.

The Casa Azul House is very pleasant to stay in, in a beautiful tropical garden: the 2 bedrooms are comfortable and the two bathrooms spacious. Sofia was a perfect host. She is also a very good chef: the dinner on site was excellent with quality products. Villas del Carmen is easily accessible by boat. Jaibalito's two restaurants are easily accessible within walking distance and are very good.

Pone beautiful views, comfortable house with a great pool. Staff was very helpful and attentive to our needs. Would book again 👍

The place is fantastic with a wonderful serene view that you get to enjoy every morning. Marcos is a great host and was very responsive to every thing we needed. The only issue we had was the hot water in the shower did not last very long at all. But other than that, it was a fantastic stay.

Words can not describe how amazing this place is. Miguel has gone above and beyond. It truly is a magical place. We ordered breakfast and dinner a few times and it was delivered to our room. The food was amazing. We also got massages in our room. Everyone here was so polite and helpful made us feel right at home. Area was safe and locals were very friendly. Miguel really has made this a paradise. Do yourself a favor and stay here you will not regret it.

The view is even more impressive in person! The apartment itself felt even bigger than what the pictures show. The staff was amazing! Absolutely loved my stay in Panajachel!! 10/10 would stay here again!

From the moment I arrived, everything was seamless check-in was easy, and the space was spotless and beautifully decorated. The location was perfect, close to the beach.

This place is a gorgeous gem! It’s like a magic trick walking from the busy street with vendors into an oasis of beauty. The property is a dream, the view is impeccable, the house is spacious and nice. We were just very hot the first night as the house had been closed up all day. There were some small bugs throughout the house…and the biggest concern was safety. There are multiple doors to the house that aren’t easily locked. The property feels safe and secure, just the house itself felt insecure. The family that stays on property is there for anything you need and so very helpful at any given moment you need help! They are kind, courteous, and stay out of your way unless you call on them. They let us use their paddle board and took it down to the beach for us and brought it back up. So kind. I would stay again!

5 stars!! Perfect location, great place for value, host was so awesome, responsive and helpful with anything we needed. Would stay here again if we ever come back. Plus best coffee we have ever had at this place!

I agree with all the previous reviews - can’t recommend Griselda and Antonio’s place high enough. San Pedro is loud ! And this is an oasis of calm yet walkable to the town and language school(s) we will defo be back.

Nicolas is an exceptional host, beyond the warm welcome, he was of great help for the duration of our stay (with his friend Chema aka el mejor) The apartment matches the photos and the beds are very comfortable! A fully equipped kitchen and a small terrace overlooking the lake All in all, a perfect apartment for your stay at the lake!

This is a gorgeous air bnb. The host has thought of everything and was very responsive to questions. The caretakers are kind and helpful. Our kids loved the hot tub and all the outdoor spaces. Beautiful landscaping and the lake is breathtaking. I loved the open-air feel. We stayed three nights and wished we could stay longer, it was so comfortable and relaxing. Thank you so much, Ana! It reminded me so much of my childhood—spending time outdoors, surrounded by animals, fresh air, and simple joys. It was a beautiful blend of nostalgia and tranquility. If you’re looking for a quiet retreat to recharge and reconnect—with nature, with yourself, or with your loved ones—Casa de Sirena is the perfect place. I left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already dreaming about my next visit. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

I felt immediately at home in Tzanabaj! Nico and Venus are great hosts and I loved my studio! right by the lake, peaceful, while also close to the city center (10 min tuk tuk), where the restaurants and supermarkets can be found. There is also a beautiful community living in the other houses, so you can have your privacy and socialise with other like-minded people if you want. Totally recommend!

Great place to stay and good communication. Place is not easy to get to if you have big bags but they made this clear beforehand. They even provided people to help us carry the bags up the hill
