Monthly Rentals in Lajitas

I wish I was able to stay longer here. Mar was wonderful to deal with and always responsive. The place is super cute. Small, but that's as described. Extremely clean and comfortable. The bed was super comfy. Really fast internet, which was important to me, being here on business. My favorite part was the porch. Amazing views of the sunset and just a really nice place to sit in the evening.

We loved the roadhouse rental! It had everything we needed and more. Donnie and Lynda's attention to detail was amazing. First Airbnb we've stayed at that has actually had absolutely EVERYTHING we needed. It was a beautiful rental (everything looked new) with a comfy bed, clean bathroom, and quiet, peaceful, safe surroundings. There is a cabana just outside the rental and a fire pit with chairs for star gazing. Donnie and Lynda even provided this cool lantern you could use in the dark. The rental is about 40 minutes from the Panther Junction Visitor Center (Big Bend NP), so we made day trips into the park each day. Don't miss the Santa Elena Canyon hike while at BBNP! That was probably our fave. There is a gas station very close-by (a bit pricey though...supply and demand) and there are a few restaurants nearby too (we would recommend Long Draw Pizza and Starlight Theater for dinner). We would definitely stay here again!

Staying at The Perch is truly an elevated retreat experience. The views: stunnning. The property: freaking gorgeous. The decoration, thoughtfulness, care, consideration, and love that went into the design and staging of this place to make it feel like a home that rivals a luxury hotel. The kitchen is fully functional, with great appliances and cookware. The beds are super comfortable. The temperature control is phenomenal. The lighting and ambiance: state-of-the-art and configurable so you can immerse yourself in the dark skies and stars that surround you. Be mindful this is off-the-grid, so if understand how precious solar energy and water are in the desert and that they are limited, you’ll have no issues. The bathroom / outhouse is super cool, with a built-in-heater and temperature control should you need it. Make sure to bring warm clothes for stepping outside on cold nights. Last but not least, you’ll have a fully-engaged owner and local ambassadors ready to help.

Second time to stay at Casa Luna. Loved it again. Though the location is private- the inside layout doesn't allow for a ton of privacy and the girls weren't crazy about the outside bathroom. But... the perks to this place outway those things IMO. Great place for a family or a guys group/girls group that don't care too much about privacy inside. Lot's of quirky art inside and on the grounds of this place. Great outside hang spaces. Great for star gazing at night. Birders will love it. Bird seed on sight and nice knee high rock walls for the birds to feed on. Jason is fast to reply to any messages/needs and is close by if needed.
