Perfect spot for a solo traveler. Has everything you need and is in the heart of it all. Close to restaurants, coffee shop, and the park.

We really enjoyed our stay! It was super unique and we loved getting to sleep in the domes. The stars were beautiful and the trails along the property were fun as well! Clean bathrooms and showers.

We loved the roadhouse rental! It had everything we needed and more. Donnie and Lynda's attention to detail was amazing. First Airbnb we've stayed at that has actually had absolutely EVERYTHING we needed. It was a beautiful rental (everything looked new) with a comfy bed, clean bathroom, and quiet, peaceful, safe surroundings. There is a cabana just outside the rental and a fire pit with chairs for star gazing. Donnie and Lynda even provided this cool lantern you could use in the dark. The rental is about 40 minutes from the Panther Junction Visitor Center (Big Bend NP), so we made day trips into the park each day. Don't miss the Santa Elena Canyon hike while at BBNP! That was probably our fave. There is a gas station very close-by (a bit pricey though...supply and demand) and there are a few restaurants nearby too (we would recommend Long Draw Pizza and Starlight Theater for dinner). We would definitely stay here again!

A great location for a peaceful stay while you explore Big Bend National Park and Big Bend Ranch State Park. Quiet while just off the road. All one needs for a stay while located in a beautiful area. We would most definitely stay again if we visit. We had a wonderful view of the night sky when the haze dispersed.

This place was absolutely perfect for my husband and I’s first trip to Big Bend. It literally had everything we needed (from kitchen utensils to bathroom supplies). And they really took a master class in maximizing storage and space for a smaller area. It was just a perfectly laid and we didn’t feel crowded at all. I love that it’s near Terlingua and the entrance to the park but you are still able to enjoy the scenery around you. Highly recommend!

My girlfriends and I traveled to Terlingua for a women's hiking adventure. The property is a little ways away from the Terlingua town. But the views, the privacy and landscape made the distance more than bearable and very worth the stay. All the rooms in the house were spacious and comfortable. Both the front and back patios were very inviting. The house is an open concept which allows everyone freedom of movement. Our beds were comfortable and I slept like a baby both nights we were there. We used the kitchen on our second night for a home cooked steak dinner. All the basic cooking tools are provided. Stephanie and Bruce were very responsive to every message we sent from the time of booking to the time of departure. They offered suggestions and made us feel comfortable and welcome. I would definitely return to Tres Patas at my next visit to the area. The views were absolutely spectacular and we even got to see the Tres Patas bear (from a very safe distance). Book now!

This is our 13th trip to the Terlingua Ranch and we've stayed at different places each time. This is our new favorite! It's about 5 minutes inside the gate and easy to find. We mad more than enough power to run the AC and heating 24/7, we even ran a dialysis machine on the solar with no issues. The hosts are very responsive and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place, if you're looking to try an off grid place this is the gold standard.

Excellent location for our trip to Big Bend National Park! The cabin was exactly as described! It was spotlessly clean and had all the amenities we needed! It was so relaxing to come back to the cabin after a long day of hiking. We enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and peaceful stargazing at night!

This place was all about the views, absolutely stunning sunsets over the Big Bend landscape that we’re still dreaming about. The house was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. Overall a great stay, and we’d definitely come back just for another sunset. Communication was clear throughout, even if things felt a little less warm toward the end.

Michelle and Mark's home was wonderful. Especially enjoyed sitting on their front porch, watching the wildlife. They were wonderful company, kind and generous hosts.

The cabin was very comfortable and perfect for us while we were visiting Big Bend National Park. It is close to restaurants, a grocery store and gas station as well as the park. We would definitely stay there again.

Super responsive host. House is comfortable and well stocked. Appreciated details like a small bench in the bathroom and plenty of towels and TP. Kitchen has everything. House is 20 minutes from the highway so if quiet is what you are looking for, it’s got it. Enjoyed the front and back porches with comfy chairs on both. Comfortable furniture in the living room, too. Lots of throw blankets… Really well stocked house.

Had such an amazing time here. The space is beautiful and so cozy. Lots to do in the area too. A great taco place just down the road and fun bars within a 5 minute walk too. The surrounding area is beautiful and Big Bend is about 10 minutes away. Great place!

There in no place in this area that provides the amount of creature comforts, privacy, star gazing, desert views, and desert vibes than this place does (remember this is in the middle of nowhere with very limited civilization in close proximity). The house is located close enough to terligua ghost town (about 7 miles) where you can find coffee shops, food, gift shops and other things to do. It is about 10 miles away from Big Bend National Park entrance. The house is private, quiet, clean, well kept and comfortable. The internet worked well, even out on the star gazing deck. Speaking of the star gazing deck, if you are looking for a place where you can sit/lay comfortably outside and look up to the heavens, while only being a short 10 yard walk from your fully stocked kitchen THIS IS IT. We spent countless hours on this deck just soaking it all in. We will 100% be staying here again for our next big bend trip.

We really enjoyed this cabin for a weekend getaway! The cabin had everything we needed and the location was nice and private, yet still super close to the park. The stargazing at night was incredible! We got great photos of the Milky Way and could see all the constellations in the sky. I would recommend this location to anyone visiting Big Bend!
