We are so grateful to have been able to stay at Gwynn's place, it is so peaceful and lovely. Like a secret garden getaway. We loved all the small touches, and beauty of the space. Gwynn made us feel very welcome and comfortable! The pool is amazing and the outdoor spaces are delightful. Can't wait to stay here again.

Large, comfortable space in the UCSD area of La Jolla. Really liked having 3 large bathrooms. Perfect place for our Breeder's Cup weekend! If you have a car it has a nice off street parking spot. Isaac was very responsive.

We felt very welcome at Vanessa’s! Very comfortable and homey. Great kitchen. Relaxed atmosphere and lots of amenities for kids! Loved the pool, the backyard patio and the short walk to the beach! Vanessa was super friendly!!She communicated quickly and went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable.

Great location. It's near a surfer beach, but if you're comfy with the ocean, it's a great hang. Also, within about 10m of the main La Jolla Beach which is superb. Cy has all your needs for a great beach stay: boogie board, umbrella, towels, chairs, sand mat, toys. Close location to some decent food. Cy communicates quickly and thoroughly, but otherwise stays out of your way. Place was very clean with a cool shower head. Neighbors in the apartment were very friendly as well. Would absolutely recommend for a beach stay.

Wonderful stay with my daughter! The host’s local recommendations were spot on, and the thoughtful touches like the wagon with beach chairs and umbrella made this visit really special. We loved the hot tub and the bustling local neighborhood. Rustic, charming, beautifully updated and cozy spot. Thanks for being great hosts!

My family of 3 had a very enjoyable stay at this home. It was just the right size for us, was very clean, comfortable and well appointed. I liked its location on a quiet street but was near restaurants and the beach as well. The hot tub was a nice perk. I would recommend this spot to others. Minor demerits: the bathroom is quite tight and doesn't really have spots for your toiletries; the bikes mentioned in the listing and past comments aren't viable any longer - Richard was up front about this when I booked, to his credit; there are other units on the property so behind the house is unexpectedly right. We had a wonderful time spending Thanksgiving at Isabelle’s place. The house is so cozy and the beds were very comfortable. She had everything you would need to prepare a meal and a beautiful backyard to enjoy the weather. We brought our dog who had a great time exploring the yard and taking walks in the neighborhood. There are tons of great restaurants within walking distance and a couple of stores if you need to pick up groceries. Isabelle was a very responsive host and even left us some fresh baked cookies for us. We would definitely stay here again!

Efrain & Gina were excellent hosts from start to finish. Communication is top tier with great attentiveness and they were always asking if we needed anything. The place is very cozy and peaceful, at both daytime and night time. They provide everything you may need while travelling and they even given you tips if you are not a local about local points of interest and food places. There is also plenty of restaurants around that can deliver if you feel like staying in. The beds are very comfortable and clean. They also provide great attention to detail to both hot and warm weather providing both heaters and AC should you need it. The location was very easy to find and the parking and check in were very smooth. They also provided snacks and drinks upon arrival (Thank you for that since we had a long drive previously). I highly recommend the place if you need a very central but also peaceful place to retire to at the end of your day when exploring San Diego.

Centrally located but quiet and private. Plenty of space. Nice little fenced yard for the dog. Walking distance to beautiful park. Kitchen well equipped. Beds comfortable. We were really really pleased with everything. We hope to stay there again when we return to San Diego.

This was our second time staying here, and the experience was amazing both times. This is about the cleanest rental I've stayed at, and it looks exactly as presented in the listing. The area is great and was a short drive to everything we wanted to do. Highly recommended.

Most definitely had a great stay here! Aaron made it easy to check-in & gave very thorough instructions. The location is amazing. It’s about a 15 min drive to pretty much everywhere you need to be. The unit was very clean. If I were to come back, I’d definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful time. We enjoyed sitting around the fire in the evenings. There was plenty of space for our group. The water was hot and lasted through 7 showers each morning. Very close to everything and easy to get around.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Olga was very nice and welcoming. The place was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a long weekend. We really enjoyed sitting in the garden and watching the hummingbirds buzzing around the trees. Would absolutely stay here again.

Perfect place for us to have a lil stay-cation with our pets while we had some work done on our house. Would stay again, just wish the weather had been a lil warmer so we could have used the back patio space more. Cute lil spot!

We spent the weekend coming and going to this lovely home. The gated entrance was welcoming, the parking and stairs up to the apartment were clean and easy, the patio and entry was inviting, bright and clean. The afternoon walks around the property were peaceful and enjoyable.

Highly recommend this host! We are a family of three and truly enjoyed our stay. The location is very convenient, has an upscale feel, and boasts a pleasant view of the bay from the balcony. The home was clean and well appointed. We appreciated the ease of entering the home and the prompt responses from the host whenever we had a question. We especially enjoyed the kitchen appliances, layout of the unit, and thoughtful amenities/accessories which allowed us to save on expenses by eating-in and planning our meals out. The neighborhood is safe and we felt secure in the home. The host was proactive in making sure it met our needs and ensuring the pool was ready for our stay. The pool was quite warm and kept clean. This is a home we'd certainly consider renting again. The furniture in the living room is a bit worn, but quite comfortable, and there are TVs throughout. WiFi was easy to connect with and all instructions are clear and easy to follow. Don't miss out on this one!

We had an overall quiet and pleasant stay. Lovely, huge property in a safe neighborhood with a good view. Didn't really need anything from the hosts, but they responded quickly to the few texts and messages we did send. We were able to bring our cat instead of kenneling him, thank you SO much for that. Bedroom has a window AC unit that kept the back of the casita nice and cool, and the ceiling fan and open windows were enough for rest of the living area. The bathroom was lovely, amazing shower. The pool was great, and well kept up by a friendly pool guy. You'll have a losing battle against the tree leaves in the water, but they're worth it for the birding opportunities! Just a few caveats that didn't knock down their rating by any means - the kitchenette is rather tiny, and the living areas are dominated by maybe larger than necessary furniture, so if you're travelling with a lot of stuff it can feel a bit crowded. Also, be careful on the uneven stepping stone walkway to the casita.

Cute little studio with nice details on a beautiful, private property. Looks just like in the pictures and is perfect for the solo traveler. Loved that it came with bicycles for a quick ride to the beach. Tigg was a great host and quick to respond. Would definitely stay again.
