Great stay at Laura’s cozy home with such a beautiful view. It was exactly what the four of us were looking for and the hot tub was an added bonus. Ocean view from the living room window and patio.

Very resposive to all inquiries. Everything you can think of that you need is already in the house! Clean and spacious too, we enjoyed the hottub! Thank you so much for the wonderful stay 🩷

Larry and Andrea were amazing hosts! From start to finish, they were incredibly responsive and helpful, making for a great stay. Their place is fantastic, fully equipped with everything you could possibly need—and even more than what’s listed online. If you’re planning a trip to San Diego and this spot is available, you’re missing out if you don’t book!

Great home and location…even better than the pictures and gorgeous plants and landscaping! My kids loved the pool, and we used the grill and kitchen (stocked with sharp knives and nice pots/pans) often…we would love to come back!

The cottage is charming and extremely comfortable. It had everything we needed. We used both bedrooms and the layout is excellent. The hot tub was great and the location is perfect. Enjoyed the cottage immensely. We will definitely be back!

Only criticism is that with chilly weather there was only one space heater. In the morning two would have been better. Worked out perfect for us to be near our daughter in South Park

Jerame and family were incredibly responsive and accommodating of our particular situation and the place was exactly what we needed during a very stressful time. The house was peaceful and comfortable with lots of amenities. We were finally able to take a deep breath and relax.

Atalanta is truly a super host! She's thought of everything guests would need AND responds quickly to any questions we had. The Green Door looked exactly like the listing photos and immediately felt cozy and clean when we arrived. We especially loved how dog-friendly it is, from the couch cover for our pup to extra poop bags, she's made it easy for folks to stay with our furry family. We hope to come back soon so we can enjoy the gated front yard and BBQ!

The space was very open and easy to navigate. The host was continually responsive to our questions. Recommend staying here!

The place is so safe and cute. We felt right at home. We travel with a 4-month old infant for the first time, and Lisa’s place is perfect for our baby. Lisa even offered a Graco Pack-n-Play which was a perfect bassinet for her. The place was situated in a convenient neighborhood close to Grossmont Center shopping mall and grocery stores and restaurants. We’d stay here again when we are in the area.

The elephant in the room is the train. Let’s get that out of the way. You’re not going to stay anywhere close to the beaches or all the restaurants and shops available to you off the 101 in Encinitas and not deal with the train noise. With that aside, Lance’s place was the perfect little cottage for our long weekend. My wife and two teenage daughters had plenty of space available to us. The kitchen was well appointed. There is a washer and dryer outside in a shed attached to the house with easy access. I saw someone’s comment on another review of this place, and they said that having the washer and dryer outside was inconvenient in the event that it rains. 😏 I guess they’ve never been to Southern California before. Anyway, awesome fenced-in front yard with chairs, plenty of space for two vehicles in the driveway. Ultimately the access to all the shops restaurants and the beach was the driver and we scored with what the house had to offer. Will stay again.

We are saying goodbye to the best dog we’ve ever owned… our 17 year old Aussie….Slater We picked this place based on the needs of our buddy. Arthritic, deaf and almost blind he needed a place safe and comfortable. It was all that. It isn’t The Lodge at Torrey Pines (5 star, 900/night). It is in a beautiful area. It is dated. It is clean. It was so close to the dog park over the Bird Rock surf spots. Huge nightly turnout of locals with their dogs and kids for the spectacular sunsets. Super safe area with great places to eat. We will return again is Slater is still with us. If this is his last trip with us we are so grateful for such a great stay and the memories made

Roberts place is delightful with a pretty updated interior. It is conveniently located near a grocery store and restaurants that are within walking distance. We were wowed when we arrived to find the place was generously stocked with snacks and soft drinks. Then one morning a plate of danish was delivered. We were so spoiled. Robert was very responsive the one time we needed him. There was no check out list, so we didn't have to strip beds or take out the trash. We very much enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful time on our family vacation at Lauri's place. The location and view were amazing!

Joy was really responsive as a host, always replying within a couple hours of messaging her. She had no problems when we asked for an earlier check-in on the day of, and she also helped us figure out why the door lock was beeping (low batteries!). Everything about the cottage was great - it was clean, cozy, and within walking distance to cafes and restaurants. I would stay there again as a quick getaway!

Pros: Overall Super Clean! Hugely helpful/responsive. Appreciated the extra early check in a ton. Loved the soft lighting! Good natural lighting with blackout blinds for sleep. Well stocked for cooking/baking/basics and bathroom amenities. Actual closet and full length mirror! Parking was great, felt safe, easy and accessible. Bedding was soft/warm enough for me. ( If you like a soft/squisher mattress it’s great for you, but it was a bit too squishy for me). Grassy communal outdoor. Really great location less than 10 min to grocery, mission bay, PB beach, many sites in SD under 20 min away (SD is a BIG so this is HUGELY helpful.) Con’s: *disclaimer, my perceptive from being more sensitive. Refrigerator was a bit loud. Unit is tucked away and on alley side, but you can still hear the road if windows/doors are open or in common areas. I could sleep without ear plugs at night though. Less privacy if you want to have natural light and windows open all day (& recycle/trash bins in view)

We had a great stay here. Host was very accommodating and location was super convenient. Just a block away from the best dog beach ever. Our doggo didn’t want to leave.
