La Jolla, San Diego places to stay

Luis was very responsive and helpful, allowing an extended checkout time when asked. The place was bigger than it looks in the pictures, and super clean with everything you need in the kitchen. The instructions to get in were very clear and it was a great spot to stay when visiting friends in the San Diego area. I would recommend booking with Luis if you are thinking about it!

Mary and Tony were amazing and attentive hosts and you can’t beat the location! Surrounded by water and beautiful beaches in every direction. We were there over New Years Eve and on top of a little welcome basket, they provided us with New Years hats and noise makers for the festivities. Very thoughtful. We were traveling with our 11 month old and I was very grateful that the they had a pack n play and baby tub (they only have a shower at the Airbnb, so baby tub was a necessity!). The stairs up to the Airbnb are steep, but they do have a baby gate. I didn’t really trust the gate, so kept my little one away from that area altogether (I would maybe recommend a gate that bolts into the wall for better security). We had everything we needed there and felt very much at home. We will definitely stay there when we come back. Highly recommend! Thank you, Mary and Tony!!! :)

One of the best airbnb’s i have ever stayed in. Wonderful views of the Canyon, I loved every second of this airbnb. It was quiet and peaceful.

The place was very clean and right in the middle of Pacific Beach, easy to walk to nearby restaurants and bars.

Fantastic experience! The kitchen was huge. We made many meals. The beds were very comfortable. A cozy warm place to spend a month enjoying Pacific beach and surrounding areas.. Dana and Becky were amazing host and we hope to stay at one of their facilities several times in the future. I could not have imagined a better four weeks in their charming little apartment. They get my highest rating.

The place is in a quiet neighborhood a few blocks away from the beach and a bunch of restaurants. It’s a pretty small apartment but it’s extremely comfortable.

Dawna’s place is wonderful for staying in San Diego as it’s so close to all the places we wanted to visit, downtown, Balboa Park, Coronado, La Jolla, etc. The place is cozy, has everything we need and the neighborhood feels very safe, welcoming, with a few good restaurants nearby. The only concern is it’s under the airplane pass but we got used to it in a couple of days. Overall a very enjoyable stay!

We stayed at the upper unit which has 2 nice size bedrooms and a large living and dining area. The unit is spacious for our family and the bathroom has nice fixtures. The upper unit has a private back entrance and very quiet, not to mention a nice view of the water and city. The unit is situated on a big property and has a nice deck for guests. Parking is located conviently in front of the property. We had the chance to meet Zoe at the time when we arrived. She’s very friendly and showed us to our unit. Overall we had a very nice stay!

I had a wonderful stay at this lovely house! The place was spotless, with very comfortable beds that made for great sleep. The kitchen was stocked with the basics like oil, salt, pepper, a coffee machine, and cleaning supplies, which was super useful. The mattress was especially comfortable, and the patio was a fantastic space to relax. The washer was also in great condition and very convenient. Highly recommend this Airbnb for a comfortable and hassle-free stay!

We had a very comfortable stay - spacious bedroom and living space; well stocked kitchen and nice outdoor space. Quiet residential block; short walk/drive to beach, shops, restaurants. Meghan and Ben were very responsive and accommodating.

Mark was the very best host! Very friendly and quick to respond. The location is safe and peaceful! Kid friendly and plenty to make our stay wonderful. We had an issue and Mark responded immediately and with no stress to us. We will definitely be back and want to stay at this location everytime!!

Here’s a review yFantastic Stay! This was a fantastic place to stay, offering great convenience and value for money. It’s close to must-visit attractions like SeaWorld, the San Diego Zoo, USS Midway, and many more. The property is fully furnished, making it feel like a home away from home. Having a washer and dryer was such a plus, especially at such a reasonable cost. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

I loved this cottage, it’s location, and our experience. The exterior: private, behind a wooden fence steps away from the sidewalk, with the cutest succulent garden with some tasteful décor. The interior: meticulously curated vintage and retro-style pieces, always something to look at, I appreciate that it wasn’t an IKEA bulk order but a lot of love and care and personality. And it’s SO clean and doesn’t feel cluttered at all! I loved the round yellow bathroom tile, the kitchen sink, the leather chair and ottoman in the living room. So many gems all around. Katrina was a gem herself!!! My toddler got sick (yuck) in bed the first night, and K came to our rescue the next morning with new linens, completely kindhearted and understanding. Related- the free laundry was a godsend to have with a kid, and to simply not have to pack a ton! And the beach gear, stocked supplies in the cabinets, they thought of everything! ❤️

The spot came just as advertised. It was incredibly close to everything in the Mission Beach area. The hosts were responsive and helpful in accommodating some specific needs for our stay.
