Pet-friendly vacation rentals in La Crosse

Staying in this little valley cabin was an amazing experience. It was private (except for a few visits from dogs) and beautiful. The cabin had everything you could imagine needing including a white noise machine, eye mask, robes, shower shoes and so many kitchen gadgets. Suzette came and said hello and introduced us to her pets then we settled in for a secluded stay. The fishing was also great - my husband caught a 13 inch trout which was enough to make him smile all day, and my heart was warmed watching my senior dog and her new preppy friend explore the valley. So great!

Rustic River was just what we needed for a laid back girls getaway! We enjoyed the private outside area with a hot tub! That was the highlight of the trip! We were able to walk to the local gas station and bar to grab some food and spent a day exploring LaCrosse, WI about an hour drive away! Rustic river had all the amenities we needed and the kitchen was stocked with all the needed items and more! The beds were comfortable and we had enough blankets and pillows for the 5 of us!

A Heartfelt and Healing Getaway This home truly has everything you need for a perfect stay—but what made it unforgettable was how it made us feel. As a single mom of teenage boys, life can be a lot. This peaceful retreat gave us the space to reconnect, breathe, and just be. We spent time down at the river, laughed together, and watched my sons play like they were little again—it brought tears to my eyes. The home is spacious, cozy, and thoughtfully designed, with everything you could possibly need. The soaking tub was a dream, and the whole place felt like a warm hug. The host was unbelievably kind, helpful, and generous—going above and beyond in every way. This stay brought healing, joy, and peace back into our hearts, and I’ll be forever grateful. If you’re looking for more than just a place to stay, this is it. We can’t wait to return.

The house was exactly as pictured, beautiful and peaceful surroundings, and lots to do. They went above and beyond supplying face masks and earplugs for comfortable sleeping, extra toothbrushes in case you forgot them, and anything you could possibly need as far as seasonings for cooking, pots and pans, and kitchen supplies.

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy cabin! Everything was clean, well-stocked, and just as described. The peaceful setting and beautiful views made it the perfect weekend getaway. Check-in was easy, and we appreciated all the thoughtful touches throughout the space. Would absolutely stay here again!

We felt right at home as soon as we walked in the door. It was exactly as pictured and even more comfortable. We will definitely stay again. We all appreciated the treats, sheets and towels making our dog feel comfortable, too!

Our group of 8 adults were attending my daughter's wedding in town, and this was a good place where we could all be together. It was nice to each have our own rooms. The only difficulty was scheduling bathroom times as only 2 bathrooms. The kitchen was handy when we made bars and treats for the wedding reception and other meals, so we didn't have to eat out all the time. It was nice to have a place to come back to after all the events but still be together playing games, talking, or watching movies. We appreciated the thoughtful welcome basket and the homey touches as well as the little things people sometimes forget like toothbrushes etc. Everything worked well for our group's needs.

Perfect getaway! The garage area setup with a bar, refrigerator, heater, and games was an absolute hit! The house had plenty of room for our group, plus some. Very clean. Theresa was an absolute delight to communicate with and answered all questions in a timely manner. Definitely felt right at home and if anything was needed she would help! Will be returning for sure!

Staying at the A.C. Carter home was a wonderful experience. The home's historic documents, collection of period furnishings, pet friendly, various amenities, including a karaoke machine, was fantastic; I'm sure my wife has heard my renditions of Born to Be Wild and I walk the Line enough to last a few weeks... or at least until I get my own karaoke machine too "polish" things up a bit ;) Our host, Signe, provided a lot of recommendations for local activates, attractions, and places to eat. While we had no need to contact our host, everything we used or needed had clear instructions handy; I'm sure any needs we may have had would have been handled promptly. This house is absolutely beautiful. My friends and I felt right at home immediately. I loved the details and the character of the home. It was just so nice and perfect for the weekend. Also very close to the Driftless cafe where our event was which was super nice. Thanks again for letting us stay and I will probably try to stay again in this wonderful home at some point in the future.

Stayed here with my dog while visiting a friend in Decorah. Was easy to get around and enjoy some downtime. I usually travel with my adult kids as well and this place would have been great for all us as well.

The house was bright and cheery and well equipped with everything we needed. It was quite spacious and all five of us were able to do things together as well as find private space for reading or phone conversations with our families. Our only challenge was parking which we were able to figure out with some effort. It was, in total, a wonderful experience, and we will definitely try to stay again.

We enjoyed our stay here. The place was clean and spacious. Exactly like the photos and no complaints, only good things to say about this place! We would stay here again.

Great set up for a large family gathering with plenty of bedrooms and accommodating space. Kids loved the pool table and adults loved the hot tub!

Gabby was great to work with and responsive. We had some questions during our stay and she was instantly available. Cabin is clean and spacious.

Natasha was very responsive. Her place had all the extras which was really nice not to have to pack, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, towels, crockpot, pots/pans, pizza cutter, etc. Very close to 3 bears, so quick walk across the street (in the resort neighborhood) to the Waterpark!

Had a great stay here, lots of fun to stay in downtown Lacrosse and a great place to come back to at the end of the day and relax!

Our family loved our home away from home for the weekend. It was such a peaceful space and would accommodate large groups well. Guests bring own linens. We also brought extra pillows and throw blankets which I recommend as well as paper plates, cups etc.

Very adorable, family friendly cabin! There were tons of toys for our toddlers and the location was perfect in walkable distance to 3 bears and Jellystone. The fire pit outback was private and very well put together. We definitely will be back

Mindy was great from the start of the Airbnb and to the end! She was very responsive when we asked for local pizza recommendations in town and confirmed our questions without hesitation even when she was trying to enjoy her own Vacation! She was so nice and her home is amazing! Enjoyed the hot tub and how spacious her whole hole layout was. Would love to stay again here with my girlfriends.

The house was comfy and extremely peaceful! We had a great time with our kids, and will be planning a trip again soon. They were very quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had.
