The Bamboo House is a great place for a family getaway or small group of friends. Very private with a lovely garden, and filtered water views. The lounge room in the morning was beautifully sunny! Anita was very helpful with excellent instructions our stay. Corner shops nearby and a short drive to lakes and beaches.

I can see why this place is hardly ever available- we just got lucky! Was there for a reunion and spent our time exploring the hunter and engaging in a game of paintball. The place is neat, right in front of the jetty and has all the modern amenities. The cafes are within a 2 min walk, and we even had uber eats delivered from around 40 kms away. The local park with swings is a 2 minute walk. Darryl was kind enough to accommodate a late checkout too. Overall, highly recommended.

Phillipa was a lovely host, very accomodating and helpful. The place was easy to find and very well kept/tidy on the inside. Would definitely consider staying here again!

This place was absolutely stunning! We went away for a girls trip and it was everything the photos show and more!! Pina was such an excellent host, and I cannot fault anything about this place! If you're thinking of booking, absolutely do it.

We were working in the area and had to find alternative accommodation late in the afternoon. As a first time user of Air BNB, Geoff confirmed availability and approved our booking extremely quickly! They even have a pinball machine, which they leave with credits on to play, Great point of difference!! Would highly recommend Geoff's for work or personal stays! Thanks again. Rob

Great place and awesome host. The house is nice and clean. 2 mins drive to the beautiful Fingal bay beach where kids had a great time everyday. A little bit of drive (about 20mins) to other activity places like dunes and zoo.

Comfortable cozy place with a fine yard for us and our dog. Clean and tidy. We enjoyed a private peaceful stay there. We will re-book if visit again!

Great location, park the car until you leave. Great restaurants, beaches and bars close by. A+

Definitely suited our purposes & was very convenient to step out for dinner on Darby Street. Downside was the parking. Allocated space was taken by other vehicles more than half the time, it was difficult to find street parking close by on a weekend. Bedside light on only one side of the bed in main bedroom. Loved the quirky touches & retro feel.

We had a great stay at Jonathan's apartment. Easy check-in and everything we needed for our little one and us to unwind and relax. Well located with private access to the beach and only a short stroll to the shops. Absolutely recommend!

Beautifully presented apartment with everything we needed to relax. Kitchen stocked, even had bread, eggs and butter so we didn’t need to go shopping right away. Amazing balcony with rocking chairs and outdoor eating. Nespresso coffee machine with pods provided (which we made good use of!). Kira was very accomodating, helpful and friendly. Thanks for a great stay!

Adrian was a most welcoming and kind host. Probably the nicest host you could find on Airbnb. ☺️ He was very responsive, friendly and had helpful suggestions. Our kids had a great time with so many activities! The beach is across the road but a little rough for small people however there are many great other beaches close by which are child friendly. The indoor pool, air hockey, pool and table tennis were all big hits as were the local bike tracks. Also the fishing! The complex and garage are really secure so no issues with leaving kids bikes and beach toys. Local cafes in walking distance are great for your daily caffeine fix. The apartment is as described and we had a wonderful stay. We will be back.

We had an excellent stay at this Airbnb! Connie was absolutely fantastic—she went above and beyond to assist us with everything we needed, always responding quickly and efficiently. When we accidentally left some belongings behind, she kindly posted them back to us without hesitation. The home itself was beautiful, comfortable, and well-maintained. We couldn’t recommend it more highly!

Our stay at Keran's beautiful apartment was wonderful. The location of the apartment is right near Newcastle Beach with off street parking included. It's about a 15 minute walk to the centre of Newcastle where there are many restaurants, pubs and cafes to choose from. The apartment itself is stylish, spotlessly clean and Keran kindly provided lots of extras with delicious sourdough bread, fruit and chocolates. We would love to come back and spend a few days at Keran's apartment next year to enjoy the city surrounds and walks and the beautiful space that is Laneway Lodgings.

Good sized villa, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and air-conditioning in each room which helped on a hot humid day. lovely and clean place with a lovely view of the lands. Excellent proximity to some of the best wineries in the Hunter Valley.

We had a short stay at Kim and Mel’s place in Nelson Bay and absolutely love it. The unit is right at the beach. All amenities provided as described so we feel just like home. Highly recommend!
