Great place near the Bangnall dog beach. Place has a nice view but a bit close to a noise avenue. We couldn't sleep in the main bedroom due to the noise. Another inconvenience, but nothing major, is that upstairs and downstairs areas are not connected inside the house. A bit disappointed finding a cockroach in the living room floor on arrival and couches a bit sandy but other than that house is very clean. Great place to stay! Clare was very easy to communicate and super friendly! Thank you for having us!

What a great find! Central and walking distance to everything you'd like, if you feel like leaving the car at home. We absolutely loved the cafe across the road for morning coffee. Just be aware the side fence of the yard is only waist high and wire, so if you have a reactive pup they will be able to see everyone walking past. But we loved this house as a base for our family beach holiday, there was plenty of room for everyone and Donna was responsive and very helpful with local recommendations and tips. Had a lovely long weekend in Cessnock for my birthday. The house was perfect for the 6 of us; great garden, everything you need in the kitchen, spacious bedrooms. Mark and Perry were responsive and helpful, letting us check in earlier. Great spot to check out some of the vineyards

We required accommodation for 6 adults and Amy’s place suited our needs with 3 large beds which very few other listings had. Amy’s place is just like the photos….very beautifully decorated but not too cluttered. It was very comfortable for 6 adults and we will more than likely contact Amy again if we require accommodation in Newcastle in the future.

From the second we stepped foot into this house it was magical, Very private and secluded amazing hosts easy and very responsive very helpful The place was like a dream it’s an amazing family home large and fits all comfortably The best part was there are 3 seperate areas you can book the main and side house come in the price and there is a extra mini house amazing for those who want seperate areas The place is amazing and the pool was absolutely stunning Also the play shed area was so good and entertaining I honestly give it a 100% I highly recommend this place Thank you

The place was beautiful , we loved the pool spent many hours staring at the lake and listening to the birds. Was a perfect location for a nice getaway.

Myself, my partner and two dogs stayed at Sally’s place on our way down to Victoria, and again on the way back to Queensland. Sally was very responsive to communication, and was very welcoming when we arrived. The little cottage was pristine and exceptionally well stocked with panty staples, and toiletries. As a bonus, Sally also leaves an array of freshly baked goods to eat (her bread is exceptional). I’ve never stayed at a more thoughtful accommodation. I would give Sally more stars if I were able to.

Had a fabulous stay, with many hours spent relaxing around the pool and bbq ! A very comfortable well located home with plentiful space for summer fun and entertainment. Proximity to Shoal Bay, numerous beaches and walks provide ample activity for all the family. We hope to be back next year!

We had a perfect stay here. the place was amazing, and exceeded what we expected. Location was great, facilities exceptional. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a private place to stay, this is the place.

This home is heavenly, absolutely stunning and finished beautifully. Laurie was super helpful with any questions we had and accomodating. Very close to the lake, elevated views and shops very close by. The pool was heated, an absolute pleasure to spend time here. We went as two couples with a 6 year old and our parents so we didn’t even use the master bedroom downstairs but there’s ample room for couples and families. We chose the perfect spot for the NYE celebrations, can’t wish for more.

Tanya and her family’s place was beautiful and spacious - perfect for our large group of 17. The pool and scenery outside were gorgeous. Tanya was a very responsive host and made us feel very welcome - even making us brownies and a personal message on her chalkboard. I would definitely recommend Tanya’s place for a group booking. Her nerves to host us, as a large group in our twenties, came through via a couple of check-ups throughout the stay, but she was very lovely and accommodating to us.

From the moment we walked in the door we knew it would be a great holiday. Karen has decorated the space in a lovely way and we instantly felt relaxed. We enjoyed great family time in the pool and were able to take in many of the local activities including the local dolphin cruise. Our daughter was made to feel welcome and enjoyed feeding the chickens and playing with resident dog Zoe. We had a ball and will definitely be back. A great place for both summer and winter.

Such a beautiful place to relax. The backyard has a lovely pool surrounded by palms, a nice grassy area and sun lounges, can’t tell you how often I‘ve stayed somewhere with nowhere comfortable to sit after the pool or beach. The property backs onto a reserve and has the most amazing tree right out the back that is overgrown with a monstera. The house also has a lovely veranda with a comfortable outdoor setting, so if the backyard is getting too warm you can spend time on the veranda or vice versa. The deck has a large table as does the backyard, we hosted a Christmas Day lunch in the downstairs backyard and were comfortably shaded all day as the downstairs table is under cover whilst the upstairs one is nice in the evening when the sun goes away. The host is lovely and easy to communicate with. We absolutely love staying there and will be back again.

Peter and Judy’s place was perfect for us after a long drive. Everything was clean and tidy and was actually much nicer than the photos showed. Our pets were welcome too.

We just spent a week at Kim's place in Corlette with our two daughters (6, 8). There was a terrible storm one night, and the whole area lost power for over 24 hours. Kim and Mel were so kind, they reached out to us and offered whatever help we needed. Other than that little hiccup, our stay was divine. You won't get a better location! Highly recommend the burgers across the road at Corlette Store, and the coffee up at the floating cafe at The Anchorage. The apartment is well furnished, neat and clean. There's multiple beaches within walking distance, and a bike path starts nearby that takes you all the way into 'town' (Nelson Bay).

This was the perfect place for a little getaway with just our pup (kids were at Nana’s!). Despite the crazy storm, we felt cosy and secure. When we arrived, we immediately felt and home and wowed by the vibe and all the special touches. Summer is a master class in Airbnb hosting! Special note is that the couch is extremely comfy and we thoroughly enjoyed sitting there in the storm, playing board games and watching shows 🥰 Our pup felt right at home too! Thanks Summer!

Steven has done a great job modernising Caledonia Cottage, while leaving its charm intact. The cosy lounge room, large freestanding bath and enclosed yard all had us—and the pup!—feeling right at home.

Brian’s place was convenient to the vineyards and a short drive to Cessnock shops. Despite backing onto a main road, the double glazed doors kept all noise out. A very safe place with peaceful surroundings. I was surprised how big the unit was compared to the pictures. A brief stay but very comfortable. Would happily stay again. I found the instructions easy to understand and useful for an easy stay.

Our stay at Channel Breeze was amazing! My husband, kids, two dogs and I were very comfortable in this cosy guesthouse, with everything we could need, including space for our boat. Bradley was amazing in helping us with a request throughout our stay and was extremely friendly and responsive. Perfect location too! Would love to stay again sometime down the track.
