Family-friendly vacation rentals in Kolonaki, Athens

My family of eight stayed at the residence. Great accommodations, good location and within easy walk to grocery stores and restaurants. Anna (host) was very friendly and very responsive when we needed assistance. The house is multi story with plenty of stairs, but it did have a lift for family members who could not navigate the stairs easily. Overall, it was a great location and house worked well for our family. Highly recommend if in need of a house with multiple bedrooms and bathrooms.

Ilias was a very nice host and arrived on the day of arrival because the plane was late and waited for us to receive us in person until two o'clock in the middle of the night, and the response to various needs was also very timely.One metro stop to Acropolis or 25 minutes walk, there is sometimes a local fresh food market around, it's fun

The best AIR BNB rental I have ever had ( coming from someone travelling abroad for work every 2-3 weeks). I have no word except "perfection" at every single aspect of renting this place. amazing location, amazing flat even better than the pictures, the place beyond clean and Andreas helped me and my colleague on many aspects: - amazing and friendly Taxi drivers from the airport but also during one full day of general strike when I had to go to different places and professional appointments. - great recommandations for restaurants and places to visit ) not only in writing but also Andreas gave me amazing tips to buy a few specific articles I was looking for in Athens when I had a few hours of free time. Andreas is a very Polite, educated and intelligent person that will make you feel Athen is your new home. I will never want to go anywhere else next time I go to Athen because it cannot be more perfect than it was.

Comfortable apartment in a central and fun neighbourhood

Huge balconies. Host greeting. Large living space. Location. I felt safe in the neighborhood. I would stay here agin.

I had an incredible stay at Anna’s apartment in Athens! Anna was an amazing host—so helpful, kind, and always quick to respond to any questions or requests. The apartment itself is stunning: spacious, beautifully designed, and equipped with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The highlight has to be the breathtaking view of the Acropolis—it’s truly unforgettable! The check-in and check-out process was seamless and stress-free, which made the entire experience even better. We loved this clean convenient-to-tourist-areas apartment in stylish thissio district. hot tub with view of acropolis and also an outdoor dinning area with view of areopagus and acropolis. very comfortable beds and plenty of space (only 4 of us this time)

The house, with its breathtaking view, was furnished in a very modern style. It was impeccably clean, and sitting on the balcony while enjoying the view was absolutely delightful. Irini responded to our questions promptly and helped ensure we had the best stay possible. Thank you for everything!

Very well located, we did everything on foot with our two children! There are good restaurants not far away either (5min walk) and little shopping on the street. It's not very quiet, but we're in town, so normal! Thank you Sofia, and thank you Dimitris who warmly welcomed us!

I have stayed in countless AirBnB and many of them wonderful. Maria's apartment really felt like a place to live in. Everything in very good condition, easy to find things, no surprises, generous in all ways. Very light, and the host was very helpful yet discreet. I would highly recommend Maria's place for short stays to radiate out from, and for longer ones as well, it's all you'd need. Full five stars.

Great stay as location is unbeatable. The apartment is well situated and walkable to all major attractions. Many restaurants and bars just outside the door. Vanessa was very responsive and took action as needed. A warning note for early and light sleepers, the apartment is right above a few restaurants and bars. It can get a bit loud even when the windows and doors are closed. However, this didn’t bother us or our kids. Highly recommended! Next time in Athens, will gladly come back. Thank you Vanessa for a great stay!

This was the first time that we have stayed in this apartment, although we have stayed 3 times in the apartment next door, and chose this one as it was bigger and we had more people in our group. The apartment is spacious, clean , and has everything you would need for a visit. There is a Metro Station nearby, so the city centre is not far away. The area is nice, with a cafe & taverna just a few yards away, and a couple of supermarkets close by (including a largish Lidl). I would definitely recommend staying here if you are visiting Athens.

From start to finish Veronica was amazing. I was in Athens with my family to run the famous Athens Marathon, which ends in an Olympic stadium near Veronica’s place. She sent me pictures of last year’s Marathon and described how to get there, which we walked back from after the race. Our flight arrived very late after a long delay but Veronica met us and showed us everything we needed to know. There are THREE balconies accessible from the apartment, all very cosy and furnished, but the highlight was the rooftop balcony with an amazing nighttime view of the Acropolis! There is a delicious bakery across the road, and the subway is 10 minutes walk. I’d highly recommend staying there as a base to explore Athens. Veronica made everything easy from start to finish and was so welcoming. Thank you.

A very nicely decorated place in a quiet neighborhood. Everything can be easily reached on foot, but not in the middle of the hustle and bustle. Of course, the apartment is always a bit "tropical" due to the pool inside - but hej, I have a pool in the living room for that. Internet worked well and the beds were good. The apartment is somewhat clairaudient and not at all suitable for small children. For us (4 friends) but really perfect and a great base for excursions. The area is more for adults, but we didn't feel unsafe. Overall great for a city trip with friends or 2-3 couples.

An absolutely magnificent place! Hard to imagine that you can find a place like this in a large city! It was a short walk from restaurants, supermarket and the metro. Rooftop pool with great privacy was wonderful on hot days and also swimming at night with the city lights in the background. Rooftop terrace was overlooking the city and with views to Lycabettus hill and nature on the other side. On many evenings we ordered food in and ate at the rooftop terrace. We were a group of six and could not have been more pleased with our stay. Dimitris was very helpful and a great host!

We had a fantastic stay. Use of the pool and rooftop were brilliant in the hot weather. Great location if you want to be somewhere quiet but still in reach of Athens. Lots of good bars and restaurants in walking distance. Really clean apartment, room to sleep 6 although sometimes a fight for the 1 bathroom. Only con was communication at times. We were given 1 key between 6 adults and then when we messaged, we had no response. It was only by bumping into either the host or another member of staff (we think host but if so, georgia did not introduce herself) that we managed to get this. However, very friendly and happily provided another key once tracked down. The office kindly lent a monitor to one of our party who needed to work on one day. Really accommodating and pleasant stay. Highly recommend.

We’ve had a fantastic few days staying at Petros’ apartment. Located within about 30 mins walk to all the main attractions (or 5 mins to metro station if you’re not the walking type!), it’s in a peaceful location, just underneath the viewing area of the highest point in Athens. (If you’re not very mobile this might not be the place for you as there’s a pretty steep climb to get there). All amenities were available including pool towels for the rooftop pool, sunscreen if you forget your own, coffee and most importantly of all, a couple of cold beers and some water in the fridge!! Petros was very helpful - he arranged our transport from the airport even though we landed late at night and really helped us out with a late checkout so we didn’t have to hang around with our luggage! In summary, if you’re heading to Athens and want a nice apartment and a great host, I’d highly recommend this place!

Ioanna was an amazing host . She was super responsive , and she helps out in whatever questions you have. Her place is amazing , the pool is a real plus. You are also in the middle where you aren't too far from athens or not too far from the beach. I would stay here again. Thank you Ioanna for everything you are the best .

This was a perfect place to call home while visiting family for 2wks. We were very comfortable and it was nice to come back to such a nice place to relax at night. Plenty of room to spread out. Everything was clean. Stemis was extremely helpful. Look forward to staying here again!
