Lodges on Vashon Courtyard Suite

KristiRating, 5 stars2 months ago
The Lodges are in a perfect location to walk to restaurants and shops. Very peaceful setting off the main street, quiet, relaxing and very clean. I've been to The Lodges several times as I meet my best friend who lives in Tacoma and I live in Seattle. Vashon Island is a great place and The Lodges is the only place we will stay. Home away from home and perfect girl time!

house upon the sand

AshleyRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Our stay was wonderful! The water view was the best part, with the hot tub overlooking the mountains a close second. The drive to get there was very narrow, and densely packed with trees and shrubs so I would recommend checking in as soon as possible as driving in the dark was daunting and there is a late check in at 4:00 PM. Overall, our the house itself was welcoming, and enjoyable. The privacy and quiet were quite relaxing. This is a perfect place to take a relaxing couples weekend

The Cottage at Wabi-Sabi

AaronRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We stayed for a week and I have to say, it made our vacation out here great! Quilcene is a wonderful small town with plenty to see. Full of trails and the local restaurants were great! The actual cottage was very well placed, peaceful, and extremely private. We were encouraged to walk his beautiful property and he even created a small trail for easy exploration! Absolutely stunning view of the Bay Area! Cottage was super clean, very cozy, well insulated as well. We stayed in late fall and we were never cold. Brian is a very accommodating host, I needed to glue my shoes as the soles had started to split, and he recommended the local hardware store where I found what I needed and even offered to lend me some clamps of his own! He really makes you feel comfortable and at home here. Our time here will never be forgotten and we would absolutely stay at Brian’s cottage again.

Tiny House in the Forest

SimonRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We love staying at Brian and Rochelle’s Tiny House! This is the second time we’ve stayed and loved our time there. The house is “tiny”, but well laid out so that it doesn’t feel small even with our 12 year old son staying with us. Beautiful, quiet setting. We can’t wait to come back!

Cottonwood Studio

SkyeRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Lovely short stay in this cute studio. I was on Vashon for a weekend yoga retreat and the studio was conveniently off the main road while being set back on a large lot so there was abundant wildlife on view and a peaceful feel overall. I was gone most of the daytime but the little propane fireplace was so cozy in the evenings. I didn't end up going into town because I didn't have a car while on the island (caught rides to the retreat), but it would have been not too far to walk in the daytime and I know from past visits that downtown is very charming. If I did have a car, it's in a convenient location to be able to get around easily to different parts of the island. Bed was very comfortable and bathroom was small but clean. Kitchen was larger than expected for the overall size of the space so worked well for my single person meals. I did have some interrupted sleep due to a neighboring dog who was barking quite a lot during the night, but overall a good stay!

Great place to stay! Ladder to the bedroom was steep and our pup had to sleep downstairs but Makayla warned us of that before our stay - sharing for others. Otherwise lots of nice extra touches and a great place to stay when visiting the area!

My girlfriend and I had an amazing time at Little Gemma for Valentine’s Day this year. You can tell a lot of thought and detail went into the space, and Tom always went above and beyond. We were both extremely impressed with every aspect of this place, we will definitely be coming back.

Red Cabin in the Woods - the Olympic Peninsula

CathyRating, 5 stars4 days ago
I truly felt like I was Trudy's guest and not an Airbnb customer. I immediately felt like I was visiting a friend who went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect for my stay. I went to the Red Cabin to go "off grid" and immerse myself in nature and the cabin was perfect for this. The space is inviting and peaceful, you can't help but relax as you close the door behind you. You are surrounded by trees and can hear the river rushing behind the cabin. I was a little concerned with the proximity to 101, but the cabin is down a little hill and the trees conceal the road. The sound of the river is louder than any cars I heard :) I brought food and the kitchen had everything I needed to prepare meals. The bed is incredibly comfy and the living room is perfect for curling up with a book. The house rules align with someone who cares about our environment, which I greatly appreciated. The Red Cabin is my favorite Airbnb to date and I can't wait to go back for a longer stay!

Cabin in Gorgeous Dosewallips Valley w/AC & Wi-Fi

RobertRating, 5 stars6 months ago
This was my second stay here. The location is so beautiful, and the cabin is quaint but well appointed. The AC was on when I arrived which was nice. As I sat out on the deck after dinner, a large herd of elk came up from the river and crossed the pasture. The bed is comfy, so I stayed in bed a little longer than expected. Wifi worked well, but I had no cell reception.

Studio in the Woods

NaomiRating, 5 stars6 days ago
This was our second time staying at Linda's place and we will continue to return. The location is peaceful but close enough to drive to all the Whidbey sights. Check in and out is simple and the host is great at communicating. Sadly we did not see the dog Po, but I suppose I can forgive that.
