Converted barn in the woods. Plenty of space for 2 people. Just a caution if you are mobility impaired or restricted--the bed is located in a 2nd story loft that is reachable by a ladder. There is a futon on the first floor that could be used for alternative sleeping arrangements.

The cottage is everything it’s advertised to be and more. Incredible views, sea life, walkable to great restaurants, peaceful and comfortable. Our group of 3 loved it. We walked to dinner each night and to Saboteur Bakery and Larry and Kristi’s Donuts in the mornings. Dawn was the perfect host—when a floor lamp didn’t work, she immediately brought over a new lamp. We loved hearing the ocean and watching the sea lions swim right in front of the cottage. The beds were comfy and we especially enjoyed the backyard outdoor space. It was a perfect getaway!

This was our first time in Washington. Darcy's place was perfect; it was the best in between location for us since we would be going to the Olympic National Park and Seattle (we took the ferry from Bainbridge Island). The place itself is made for 2 people max as she explains. It was super cozy and it had everything we needed. If you like a quiet / calm area this is it. Darcy provided all the help we needed and was always available. The place was clean and she had thoughtful touches when we arrived, plus a list of things we could do. We definitely recommend staying here! We loved it!

What a wonderful farmhouse feel. Auntie has decorated her small cottage with beautiful furniture and homey country touches. The house had all that we needed for three of us during a nearby conference at the Kitsap Conference Center. I also appreciated finding cookies, wine, apples, and eggs in the kitchen awaiting our arrival. Auntie is a top tier host.

This place was wonderful for our first family vacation away as a family of 4! J left us some snacks and toys and it was perfect! Kitchen was very well stocked and we cooked both nights. We did not find the animals or street disruptive at all and my kids were obsessed waking up to turkeys out the window. Very special stay!

We enjoyed a great weekend stay! The space is charming and the views are perfect. We loved having the stocked kitchen and enjoyed the fire pit down by the water. Having the boats, paddles and life jackets was really nice. The twin beds included a trundle bed which was a nice surprise although we didn’t need them. Parking was more limited than expected but we appreciated Eves proactive efforts in messaging us ahead of time with check in instructions and how to best park. Definitely will book again!

This place was fantastic...one of the best we have ever stayed in! From the moment we walked in the door, we immediately felt at home. Every room was warmly appointed and designed with practicality and ease of use in mind. As the week went on, we kept being delighted by little surprises that we hadn't expected to find: from books, games and puzzles in the living room, to every item you could possibly need in the kitchen (even plates, bowls and cups for the youngest among us!) to the magnificent views of Seattle across the water that greeted us each morning. Truly spectacular. The yard offered a great play space for our grandchildren as well! Julia and Dana were incredibly responsive, too. They communicated clearly and in such a friendly way. Prior to our visit, they anticipated what we would need for our youngest grandchildren and had everything set up and ready to go. We will definitely look them up again in the hopes of reserving this gem when we return to the island.
