We loved every moment of our stay at Bob and Kath’s beautiful home! It’s a peaceful, quiet retreat with lovely surroundings and scenic trails that lead right down to the backwaters. Bob and Kath are warm, engaging hosts who made us feel truly welcome—wonderful to talk to and always happy to share local tips. Easily the best place to stay near Ludlow if you’re looking for comfort, nature, and genuine hospitality!

Katrin was the loveliest host. Her place felt like home, she put in the extra care for our pup, and even gave my partner a local immunity tea blend when she wasn’t feeling great. Super responsive, flexible, and overall just a wonderful person and family. Would love to return if and when we visit Vashon again!

Exactly what i needed. it was so quiet and out of the way, but close enough to the city for some adventures. and i was greeted by their sweet and playful puppy which was such a nice surprise! definitely a lovely getaway and location!

This was a spacious place where my family got some needed rest. It had everything we needed to decompress from the busy city life. Be prepared to buy groceries including water before arriving as a main store was at least 30 mins out. The one complaint was that the water had some sediment and owner said that this is normal; however, with kids with sensitive skins, we decided to have them shower only in the primary room to avoid complications. Even though it was an older home such as outdated bathrooms and decor (part homey, part beach and part cabin), it was comfortable. If you want to go to Seattle, the best way is to drive to Brainbridge and take the ferry.

We needed a place for employees working on a nine week project in the area and this was perfect. The host was very quick to respond - and so kind. The men that stayed were comfortable and slept well after long days at work. Would recommend.

Enjoyed our stay very much. Forest trail to the beach was truly amazing. Had everything we needed accommodation wise.

We loved staying here. Place was beautiful and even more beautifully kept. Modern but very comfortable with indoor and outdoor fireplace/ pit, great deck for bfast or sunset dinner and drinks or just relaxing to read. Kitchen is very well stocked and appreciated the small touches for us when we arrived Checkin was easy and host was very responsive. Thank you!!!

Such a divine location! The grounds are gorgeous and tranquil, we stayed before backpacking in the park. Sweet, friendly animals around. Cozy cabin and lovely space to walk around.

The spot was perfect, quiet and comfortable. I stayed at the end of May, so the weather was lovely and the trees, grass, flowers and birds were all poppin off. The island of Vashon itself is beautiful and quaint, the perfect little getaway from mainland. Kathryn had personalized suggestions that I checked out, and even those places I’d give 5 Stars to as well. Would absolutely stay again. Note about the ferry: if you’re not used to island and ferry life, I’d suggest buffering your time well. Things happen and don’t always allow for things to go right on time. I was grateful to not be in a hurry to be anywhere, so the flexibility worked out well for me.

Great stay! Had everything we needed. Check-in was simple as we were greeted at the road upon arrival. The firepit was really pleasant and all amenities were in good working order. The farm tour was very fun too. Thank you very much!

Very sweet place! The garden cabin was so cute, clean and cozy. There was music in the barn and a sweet little cafe stand. I would highly recommend this for your next stay.

We had a lovely stay at Cassandra and Eric's cottage. The space is cozy and bright. The location is very private and tranquil, well off the highway with numerous hikes close by. The view is truly the highlight. We were riveted by the nearby eagle activity! The beds are extremely comfortable and everyone slept well. Highly recommended!

We absolutely loved staying here! Beautiful house with fresh cut flowers everywhere. Amazing grounds with a magical spot in the back corner of the property. I would highly recommend staying here especially if you would like to unwind and relax. Plenty of good spots to eat within a short drive. Thanks for hosting us! The Corey family

Ron and Paulette are amazingly outstanding hosts!!! The entire design is incredibly unique; a touch of antique charm, well-crafted form of art which eye-catching to the guests! The room itself is so cozy, spotless clean, fresh soft linens that makes you feel more like home 🏡! The bath is luxurious- a perfect ROMANTIC SETTING for couples who enjoy their special moments——- RELAXING!!!! The fireplace is a plus, the private patio is absolutely stunning with a gas fireplace facing the beautiful property with nature views- the trees, the flowers, the humming sound of the birds, and the breeze of fresh air! To top it off, PRIVACY is the most interesting part of this three-day-weekend and celebrating my birthday in this kind of ambiance is PRICELESS!!! Highly recommended for anyone who loves the quieter atmosphere and a getaway from work and busy life schedule! Thank you Ron and Paulette for the beautiful farm-stay you’ve created! It’s absolutely a GEM!

A wonderful and relaxing place to stay on Whidbey Island with a ton of space to host a large gathering of friends or family.

We arrived very late and Paulette was there to greet us. So kind and sweet of her to wait up. We had fresh cookies waiting for us which was such an unexpected, pleasant surprise. Our room was amazing and the bed was super comfortable. Just what we need after a long day. We will be back. Paulette and Ron were amazing hosts and we look forward to exploring their beautiful farm when we have more time.

We had the best time at Blue Sky Farm! It was so quiet and peaceful there, and the front and back porches are such relaxing spots to enjoy coffee/drinks. Our daughters loved exploring and playing throughout the property, and the resident family of deer was a highlight. We've stayed at a few places on Vashon and this is one of the best locations because it feels far away from the busyness of town, but it's really only about a 7-minute drive to the Vashon town center. The house is well stocked and Tilda was a great host who clearly really cares about her guests' experience. We can't wait to stay again!

It was exactly what we were looking for... close to family, quiet and unique.
