Family-friendly vacation rentals in Kirton

Booked this as a Birthday treat for my significant other and her friend. We found the log cabin itself, very well appointed and cosy. Found the washer/tumble dryer very useful for drying the swimming gear after using the hot tub. The hot tub was great, especially with winter fast approaching and it being fully enclosed inside it's own cabin, to the rear, of the actual log cabin. Two/ensuite bathrooms meant there was plenty of privacy when required. The only thing that was missing was a tea towel! Apart from that we have no grumbles and will book again if the opportunity arises. Thank you

We stayed in Oak Cottage at Elms Farm Cottages and couldn’t have been happier with our choice. Carol was a fantastic host - very communicative, flexible and helpful and the cottage was perfect - very comfortable and with excellent amenities - all the small things taken care of. We would highly recommend staying here and would love to come back one day.

Fabulous stay, perfect location and a really gorgeous place. The country park is beautiful. Lovely touches of Christmas decorations, doggy hamper and a birthday cake and balloons for my Dad’s birthday. I had to rush my son to hospital and the hosts were so kind with helping us out - over and above kindness. Thanks so much, we shall be back!

We had a wonderful stay at Gills place. It was easy to find, with some additional instructions. A gorgeous location, perfect for 4 city girls! Gills home is spacious, neat and tidy. The layout is perfect for taking time out or sitting and having a girlie giggle with friends. Everything is carefully thought through, the attention to detail didn't go unnoticed. Gill also gave us a cheeky late check-out which was much needed. Thank you Gill 💖

We had a brilliant stay, rooms were modern & clean. Easy check-in and check-out with flexible times. No noise around so an amazing sleep was had. Fantastic location, a short drive to Lincoln & some brilliant pubs close by. Hot tub was an added bonus and made the weekend that extra bit special. The farm animals were lovely to see too! Would 100% recommended for a relaxing weekend away. Thank you John. 🤩

second time staying at Carrington. We got rid of the kids and came up from London to seriously let our hair down. Had an amazing time raving in the basement. Hot tub was good for the next day hangover. the bakery next door is such a bonus. took a bus tour round my old stomping grounds and showed Norfolk off to my city slicker mates. brilliant place to stay. might rent for Christmas sometime. can't fault the property.

Great stay at Stretton Lakes. The other cabins seemed to be utilised by people making use of the fishing lake, but our children loved the hot tub, tennis courts and the odd game of football on the grass. Stretton Lakes was a great base for the area - the local (gastro) pub, kayaking on Rutland Water, villages/ towns like Stamford and even a theme park for the kids.

13 of us went to The Pumphouse, all between 24-29 years old. We had the best time! David was easy to contact, regularly stayed in touch after initially booking to offer lots of help with our upcoming trip. The area is so quiet and peaceful, we were able to celebrate in our own way with no neighbours peering in or noises disturbances, which was great for our Christmas party! The spa was lovely, I’d say it can fit 7 girls but maybe 4-5 lads. We took it in turn and loved it. The rooms were immaculate and so spacious, en-suites everywhere, the group were so happy. The kitchen was stocked up with lots of spices, a coffee machine and plenty of helpful bits! Overall an outstanding stay! We would have loved to use the log burner but didn’t know we had to bring our own wood until the final communication, would be great to have this on the listing! Also just a warning to get the WiFi password loaded up before you arrive as signal is weak in the area with it being so peaceful! 😊

My BEST Airbnb experience. Perfect host, lovely property, exactly as described in a wonderful location. We were celebrating my wife’s Birthday with our 3 sons and all agreed that Joy’s property made it extra special. It was a perfect and memorable weekend away.

Great peaceful location on the farm. My daughter loved to see the cows out of the window and play on the toy tractors! Nice walks around the area and easily accessible to get to Rutland Water and beyond. Really enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

We spent a fantastic weekend at the house, it’s in a perfect location. The house is clean and well appointed. Communication with the hosts was excellent, very helpful and speedy responses.

The Cottage is perfect for a quiet break. This is dog friendly with two enclosed areas for the dogs and walks on the doorstep. There are two fantastic pubs The Queen and the Royal Oak/splash Within walking distance There is a very well stocked local shop with everything you need for a break We would return 100%

The cottage is delightful. Full of home comforts and very clean. Comfy bed and linens. Fluffy towels in the bathroom. Our third visit and won’t be the last. First class hosts as well. Fantastic communication as well. Highly recommend.

Property was as described, well located, just a few minutes walk from Heacham South Beach.

Stephen is amazing, personable, responsive, ready with helpful actionable suggestions if you need them . The place itself is on a beautiful , riverside property, with beautifully maintained garden, swimming pool. It is 10 minutes drive from Peterborough and 25 minutes form Stomford, and has many trails and walks around that you can explore.

The Kingfisher was perfect for our family weekend away. When we arrived it was beautifully clean, the hot tub was hot and ready to go and we had a fantastic weekend. Loved it so much we would 100% go back

Was lovely and clean although odd bits like under beds and walls had a few marks but nothing that would put me off staying there again. Really comfy and clean beds I have a 2 year old and she usually wakes up in the night to get in my bed but while we stayed here she stayed in her own room all night as I think the bed was comfier than hers at home 🤣 brilliant location as really quite but abit of a walk for little ones, and the hot tub was really clean and brilliant touch!

The location is idyllic for a peaceful break. We were there aeroplane spotting at RAF Coningsby and the location was easy to respond to action on the airfield. Holiday club house in the evening with the usual entertainment made it more like a holiday.
