We loved our stay at the loft. Plenty of space for our family of four. Great location. Easy check-in at the pub. We didn’t have any issue with noise.

this is a lovely little cabin in the woods near the local local swimming hole in the river. It is very quiet and peaceful with lots of birds. from the outside it doesn't look like much, but the inside is very modern and updated with everything you need. a walk into town is about 45 minutes. It is down a very small winding road. however, everyone is so courteous. it is not a problem even though there is no sidewalk. be aware that Google maps will put you in a nearby subdivision, not at the house. use the directions provided by the hosts. Kilkenny is definitely worth a visit.

Noel has a lovely spot in the heart of the city, walking distance everywhere and quiet at night too. The best of both worlds! Noel was extremely helpful prior to our stay with any questions we had and he was very accommodating to our needs during our stay. I would highly recommend staying here if looking for a spot!

This Airbnb is the most centrally located one that I have stayed in Kilkenny. It is about a quarter block from High Street which is the central shopping area of Kilkenny and about three blocks from Kilkenny Castle. The place is well maintained and looks exactly as the pictures. We used the larger bedroom to sleep in and the second bedroom as a "closet" to store our clothes. One of the biggest advantages for us was the washer and separate dryer. Many places have a combined washer/dryer but the dryer only gets clothes damp dry because it uses centrifugal forces to spin the water out. They don't have a heating element. This place with the separate dryer was a godsend. Everything was well stocked, kitchen had plenty of utensils, dishes ect and there were plenty on linens. I only saw two downsides. It is on the third floor with no elevator. It was only and issue when it came to carrying our suitcases up and down. Other than that, it was good exercise. They also had no coffeemaker.
