We had a lovely time at Weavers cottage. Lovely area. Mary was a great host always at the end of the phone. Great garden for our little dog Cooper who was able to go outside and we knew he was safe. Well stocked kitchen which we really appreciated. Lovely touch. We would recommend Mary’s cottage to all.

Wonderful stay, I wish it was more than 2 nights. Felt right at home, loved the decor and atmosphere! Greeted by Jim, and two adorable dogs, George and Ollie. Fresh eggs, bread and milk left for us to enjoy. I will be back on my next trip.

Unique 1 Bedroom with spectacular views & hot tub

BiancaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Our stay was amazing, we keep talking about going back. The area was quiet, perfect for the trip we had planned. There was loads of space. The hot tub was amazing with the view. We got great weather when we were there but any weather it would have been nice. We couldn't seem to get the fire pit or pizza oven going but that was user error. When we had an issue with towels for the bathroom, I got a friendly, quick and helpful response from Colin. Great host! What made our trip was all the pets roaming around, mainly the friendly cat who kept visiting us. We became so attached to him it was hard to leave. Will 100% be booking again.

Kate's Barn Quiet 200 yr old restored Country Barn

MaryRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Exceptional host, super surroundings, the barn was a delight, a new adventure for three generations. Dogs, cats, lambs, cattle and a donkey called Nellie who loves pizza. Chickens and two young roosters who like to vary the morning alarm. Well laid out kitchen with everything and more than you need, lovely china ware and crystal glasses. Children’s press loaded with books, games and drawing materials. Hot, hot water on demand, lovely fluffy large towels and Egyptian cotton sheets, so cosy my grandson said. Teddy bear and woolly sheep for kids to hug at night. They loved the piano and chose their own sofas and chilled out. Katherine is great with children and it’s hard to fool them. Her love of animals shines through tin her every action. She has created an eclectic haven for the great escape or for touring the adjoining area. Her advice and deep interest in the area is second to none. We loved our three days there. All of us

We had a lovely stay down at Rita and Sean’s place, the area is perfect - close to where you need to be in Kilkenny and very peaceful. The place is very modern and has everything you need especially in our case with a baby and dog - both Rita and Sean made themselves available if needed which always helps. Thanks again and hopefully see you again.

Traditional South Kilkenny Cottage: stunning views

LucyRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Louise was proactive in messaging before our stay to make sure we'd have a smooth check-in experience. The property itself is incredibly cosy and has plenty of instructions to make sure you have no issues in working anything. The place was pristine and felt very welcoming on arrival, and the surroundings were stunning. Beds and sofa were very comfortable, and there was a good selection of DVDs and games to choose from.

Charming Country Homestead

RoseanneRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Had such a lovely stay in Marie’s place. In beautiful surroundings, peaceful yet within very easy distance of the lovely village of Graiguenamanagh and Kilkenny town, with lots of places to explore nearby. The cottage itself had every comfort. We arrived to a lovely cosy lit stove and Marie was such a welcoming host, gave lots of recommendations and even checked in advance to see if a local restaurant was opened for us to eat there. We really appreciated it. Beds super comfortable and cosy, had the best sleep! Really looking forward to coming back to explore more of the area and to stay here again. Thank you for a lovely warm Kilkenny welcome! Best regards, the Richard Family, Limerick.
