All Creatures Great and Small setting for a stylish yet comfortable property. Extremely thoughtful and clever design touches which match the hosts attention to detail on fixtures and fittings. Excellent access to a wide range of eating places and shops and set in the heart of Herriot country. We really enjoyed our 5 day stay. The extensive welcome pack was also greatly appreciated. Nb steep steps to the flat and down to bedroom, so heed the caution regarding those who struggle with steps.

Our weekend stay at Smith Cottage was everything we could have wished for. A cosy, welcoming cottage - like a big hug! - and beautiful scenery and surroundings. We wanted a place where we could retreat from the busyness of life and definitely found it in Lorren's cottage. We enjoyed a river walk, a visit to the local pub, and a drive to Haworth. The cottage had every amenity we needed as well as a gorgeous fire, perfect for a November stay. We would highly recommend Smith Cottage and will look forward to a return visit.

Faultless, Gargrave is lovely and Masons Arms is one of my favourites. House was immaculate and as described, great walk into skipton along the canal, with regular busses and trains too. Would definitely return.

A perfect cosy cottage to base ourselves for an October break in the Yorkshire dales for a 3 generation holiday. Lots of games, local info, wood burning stove. 3 pubs close by, we enjoyed the quiz at the bluebell on Thurs night. Lovely walks to Starbotton and Grassington and we visited Stump cross cavern and Malham cove. Highly recommend 👍
