Great spot - a gem found! Not easy to find a great spot to stay in Cumberland, but now it is! Host was great to talk to, and made it easy for check in and check out. Super flexible with my needs and work schedule. The place feels like a country cabin inside! The wood work and decor and the fireplace - all fantastic! Super clean and fresh. So happy to chill on the couch with a throw blanket and watch basketball on the big screen with the fire going in the background. I will Be back to this spot and I highly recommend it to anybody looking for a stay in Cumberland or the Tri-Cities of Harlan County! Cheers! See you next time!

We had a wonderful stay at Kim's property—it truly felt like a little piece of her family's history! The storefront was absolutely adorable, with all the essentials we needed and more. The bedrooms and living room were cozy, comfortable, and well-equipped. While the front store area could get a bit chilly, there was a space heater provided to keep things warm. The listing mentioned potential noise from the post office next door, which we did hear occasionally, but it's also important to note that the highway behind the property can be quite loud, especially at night. However, it didn’t detract from the overall experience, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time here! We will be back next time we are in the area!

This place was beautiful and amazing! The trails behind the house are breathtaking and easy to navigate. Don was very helpful and great company. His dogs are the perfect touch to everything. We will definitely be staying here everytime we are in town!

Betsy and Art's place definitely lives up to it's name! It is tranquil, quiet, serene, homey, and very spacious. the day before we arrived it had snowed. There was still snow on the ground when we got there which just added to the peacefulness and beauty of the property. It was the perfect place for our stay and we definitely plan to stay again!
