We had a brilliant time at Jo's barn, which has a lovely relaxed feel and very homely. Jo was very kind to provide everything we could possibly need, and it was great to meet her The barn is lovely and cosy, clean and modern. The upstairs kitchen, lounge diner is a great space with a very well equipped kitchen and comfortable sofas. We really appreciated there being plenty of dishwasher tablets along with milk and orange juice in the fridge and even some decent knives! And there are even some lovely wooden toys and games that our 4 year old loved. It was very quiet too and a great location for us to visit our friends nearby. We'd love to savour the delights of Exminster a little more next time! Thanks so much Jo.

A very relaxing stay in superb facilities. It is obvious that a great deal of thought and care has gone into developing the home. The location is excellent and very close walking distance to a variety of amenities ( shops, pharmacy, two pubs, railway station, ferry to Exmouth). Hope ghly recommended.

This is a charming little property and the listing description is accurate. Everything, especially upstairs was clean and convenient and the bath is full-sized. New boiler provides lots of hot water. The stairs are very steep and with no banister on one side as well as having only 1.5m headroom so if you’re elderly or tall take care. The Wi-Fi works really well but there is no ‘dedicated workspace’. Outside the courtyard is tiny and virtually shared with next door. The owners keep in touch and have a personal/family interest in the property. Good value for money and a rare rental property in a popular village

We had a great few days staying at Oyster Cottage. The house was as described in the pretty village Cockwood. A very comfortable stay with everything we needed, though the front door is a little stiff so needed a bit of welly to open/close but once Nick told us that we managed it fine! The extra touches were very nice from Nick too, mince pies, tea bags and milk on arrival and a lovely Christmas tree and decorations too!!
