Maya was the perfect host, she always responded in a timely manner to any question I needed an answer to. The Snug is a definite home from home stay, set in a beautiful village with lovely pubs and a great cafe, called pickled at Riccall. I would definitely stay here again

Spotlessly clean, stylish little nest with the thoughtful touches that make guests feel spoiled: lovely toiletries, furnishings and bedding. I would recommend this property to anybody.

It was a lovely cottage with a great surrounding area! It had a great walk to do and a bus stop right in front of the house! Wood burner left the house warm and host was very helpful when we were out of wood. He had great suggestions on how to get into york and when the bus came! The welcome basket was very generous and the cottage was perfect for two people! 10/10 will be back again!!!

A really perfect place for a break in York. Really glad to have found Jackie’s apartment. It is absolutely flawless, feels like a home away from home with a lovely welcome basket, everything you could need in the kitchen and cupboards and a very comfortable bed. So many little things like games, local guides, high quality furniture/items around the place which made the stay as nice as it could be. The location is really convenient, 15 minutes on the bus into the city centre and in a lovely area. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again the next time we are visiting York!
