Monthly Rentals in Kandakuliya

My girlfriend and I stayed at Sabina's place for two nights and did very much enjoy our time there. Everything was clean and tidy, very relaxed and the food and drinks were amazing - even though a little too western for our preference. Sabina was super kind, always reachable and quick to response and helped us out a lot with a spontaneous scooter rental and tips for the area and our further travels. Two things to note: if you have a problem with dogs and barking dogs throughout the neighborhood or with moscitos maybe this might not be your cup of tea. Nonetheless a definite recommendation from our side 🙂

We loved our stay with Sam and his family! We stayed for two nights and went diving one day. The diving exceeded expectations. The whole team were incredibly friendly and professional. The bungalow is basic and located in a quiet fishing lagoon. A short tuk tuk ride to the beach with restaurants. Breakfast was provided by Sam’s wife and was delicious. Would definitely recommend and hope to visit Sam in Trincomale for more diving soon!

John and Jocelyn are very hospitable hosts and the location is very peaceful if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of Colombo. The space is rustic with charm and you'll even have a dog friend before you leave, possibly cats however that's down to them to decide. The pool is lovely and refreshing after a day in the hot Sri Lankan heat. They are very knowledgeable about the area and places to buy local produce and you must not forget the bread from the local shop! As an ex air BnB host who has traveled most of the world now and met a lot of hosts, John and Jocelyn are up there with some of the best. Thankyou for your continued warmness and hospitality. If you are thinking of a trip to Thalawila then stay here, you won't regret it.

beautiful resort , a friendly and a warm host Mr Venu .. being a solo traveller vacationing , Mr Venu and his team ensured I was taken care of well even in terms of my safety .. the service is impeccable and the view from the lagoon is amazing.. I will recommend this place to everyone travelling to kalpitiya.. the location n accessibility is also very good 😊..
