House vacation rentals in Kalamazoo County

This house was wonderful for myself, my parents, my 2 brothers, sister in law, and 2 nieces! The pool was in use from sun up to sun down. Plenty of space to spread out and relax. My mom was able to navigate between her wheelchair and walker, which meant all the world. I have stayed in many airbnbs. What sets this one apart, besides the gorgeous house, pool, and amenities, was the way everything was stocked. There were enough extra towels for all the in and outs of the pool. Anyone who has stayed at an airbnb with a pool can relate to not enough towels. Not the case here!! Also, plenty of extra toilet paper. And the good tp! How many times have I had to stop during my vacation to buy extra TP. Not at this house! It had everything I needed!! Including washing machine tabs, so I could keep up with the laundry. Tons of extra plates, silverware, cups! EXCELLENT communication from Mary. I am sure our family will be back to this Oasis!

Rob's place is fantastic! This is our second year renting for an annual Halloween gathering and this home is perfectly equipped. There's more than enough personal and private space for big groups + fur babies. We love using the hot tub and the theatre. The grounds are stunning, with great views and a lot of privacy, while still close enough to town to run out for anything we needed. The hosts anticipated our needs and even added some lovely spooky decorations to enhance our weekend. We can't recommend this property or the hosts highly enough. We'll definitely be returning!

Jared’s place was an amazing spot for our family New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day little escapade. We enjoyed of a quiet winter time away from our day-to-day to relax and chill. Location was great, views were superb, and Jared’s attentions were second to none. His response time was also great and he took great care of our family. We’re looking forward to potentially booking for the summer as well.

Stayed during August - the house and the outside areas were clean and felt better than home.. Kids loved the pool which is heated.. Awesome stay..

Absolutely one of the best places to stay. Quite, Peaceful, an Beautiful Location. Anytime me or one of my team mates are in the area, this home would be our 1st pick! Great fishing, Incredible views, Clean Safe, and Spacious. The beds are by far some of the most comfortable you can find for Traveling. Definitely a 10/10!

This is our 6th year staying at one of Rick’s homes in Allegan with our kids and grandkids. Room for everyone to be together or get away and the kitchens are well stocked with dishes and utensils. Plenty of room in the dining room for us to eat and play games together. We enjoy the games in the basement and the hot tub in the snow out back. Also, close to a local store and Crane’s for donuts on our way home from a hike at Lake Michigan. There are great instructions for accessing the home, hot tub, internet and check out instructions.

We absolutely enjoyed staying here! The indoor pool was a main attraction for our grandkids. There is sufficient space throughout, privacy for a large group, and also plenty of supplies, towels, etc…. We strongly recommend any family or group to stay here. Melissa’s communication and response time are unmatched.

This was a fully supplied kitchen, that made my stay very pleasant. Our family gathering spent the majority of the time in the kitchen and pool area. We enjoyed the esthetics of the entire home. (I did love the the red peacock tree.) We, as a group, appreciated the coffee bar. The pool area is clean and enjoyable. Kids and adults enjoyed the pool and slide for hours. I was able to drink my morning coffee in the warmth of the pool room, watching a beautiful sun riase and gorgeous landscape. Very peaceful.

Beautiful place to stay on the water! I stayed with my bridal party to get ready for my wedding, and then relaxed with my HUSBAND🥰 very nice hosts and communicated with me quickly and easily. Would stay here again!

Our stay in Kalamazoo was very last minute, Yas responded very quickly to our inquiry to stay, was very helpful and accommodating of our needs. Upon arrival, we were amazed by the historical character of the home. The architectural detail is incredible, we truly appreciated the soaring ceilings, and magnificent mouldings and millwork throughout the home. The home is very spacious, yet cozy and comfortable and easily accommodated our extended family party of 6. The downtown location was great, walkable to shops and restaurants. A beautiful and unique property, we enjoyed this lovely home.

Five of my friends and I stayed in Carlos's place over the weekend for a wedding in Shelbyville, and we absolutely loved it. The place was outfitted practically like a home, very well equipped with cleaning supplies, bedding, kitchen appliances, basic spices, etc. There were so many kitchen appliances! He was very thoughtful in every detail. I was personally very impressed with how clear their expectations were laid out, and how clear their instructions were as well, like their cleaning list, for example. We loved the movie setup in the basement, and how clear the instructions were to set it up, simplifying the process. If I returned to the area, I would absolutely return to this place! It was definitely worth the money we paid to stay there.

the place was nice. it could use some extra cleaning. such as the bathroom toilets were not clean the kitchen floors could use another moped. there are a LOT of beautiful things but a little to many things to break the vases and artificial flowers. we love the number of towels. leave 1-2 garbage bags. the Host is very nice and adhered to our calls as soon as possible. Over all we loved the place and the location. the house is nice and we enjoyed our stay. we love the fact that there were seasoning and other items for cooking. the Cafe bar was exciting 🫶🏾

We had a busy weekend planned, and staying in this home made it easy for our family. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and serve a family meal. The home was fun and had quirks that made it exciting for our kids and enjoyable for us. The bathroom was well stocked with everything we needed and more. The living areas were large and comfortable. The kitchen had a dishwasher that we all appreciated. Our family had a wonderful stay and would recommend this home.

Comfortable beds, quick response when some essentials needed.

We really enjoyed staying here. The neighborhood is cute and quaint. It is a short 10 minute drive to WMU which is why we were in KZOO. The home has so much character but with very modern updates. We enjoyed the large dining table to have a fabulous pizza dinner. (BC's Pizza). I loved the history behind the house as well. We have now found a great place in KZOO to stay when visiting our son at college.

The host was incredibly accommodating, and responsive! The house was perfect for our ladies weekend!

Absolutely loved this place, a nice getaway by the water, and everything you need in an organized space. You even have a view of the water from your bed and although this unit is by the street corner road noise is minimal. Easy and relaxing all around. Will stay again.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! Julie’s place was perfect for us. All the creativity in the gardens, the kayaks, unobstructed view of the beautiful lake. There were hummingbirds, butterflies and a little ground squirrel for our personal enjoyment. The swans swimming by were were an unexpected pleasure! You place is very peaceful and serene. Checkin was easy and she and her beautiful daughter were kind and helpful. Julie suggested some close places to eat and enjoy and we visited each one. She had the fire pit ready to light but the weather was so hot we didn’t use it. We actually enjoyed a couple of severe storms while we were there. Watching the display of lightning over the lake was amazing but we felt safe and sound inside. The sunsets were accurately photographed on her listing. Just beautiful! The trip to Lake Michigan is a short, scenic and easy drive. Thank you Julie. We did not want to leave and hopefully will be back soon!

We had a great stay. The kitchen is well stocked with cookware and table service items. Communication with the host was good.

The blue house was a great place for our family’s week in Michigan. We had 8 people including a 6 y/o and 2 y/o. We loved having two living rooms (one for kids, one for adults), and the outdoor space was great. The lawn is huge and perfect for games. We also swam, kayaked, and caught fish off the dock. Our stay was comfortable, well appointed. Thanks for having us!

Airbnb administration lets down the hosts. The paperwork is lacking in the area needing to change adjust amend or communicate when original plans have to change. Our stay was determined by the development of a new apartment duplex. Developer dates changed twice. Two adjustments to length of stay caused penalties to be implemented by "the system" which nearly doubled the costs of our stay. Thank fully the host was very accommodating BUT was badly let down by the AirBnB organisation.
