Julie's house was everything we expected and more! The location, although a bit isolated from the main villages of La Alpujarra, was perfect. The closest village is just 5min away by car, and you can also reach it by a nice and peaceful walk down the mountain of about 45min. Other villages are also accesible and close by car, so you never feel like something is missing. I do recommend bringing your own food, since the shop on the village is not always open and is small, but there is a bigger supermarket on another village about 15 minutes away. Julie was a great host, always attentive, even before our arrival. She gave all the needed directions to arrive and even came down to the village to guide us with the car up the hill to the cottage. She was also very accommodating, as well as her lovely animals! She provided with all amenities, even with coffee and condiments to cook with, which was much appreciated. Overall, the experience was great and we would love to come back again!

We loved our stay in this accommodation. Everything was very clean, well cared for and with a cozy atmosphere that made us feel right at home. Also, Diego's attention was excellent, always willing to help with anything we needed. The first night we were a little cold because in the bed there was only one blanket, but when looking in the closet we found another one and we already slept perfectly the rest of the stay. We went with our dog, who had a great time since around the house is all country and had where to run. It's definitely a place we'd love to go back to, and we highly recommend it. Thank you for such a pleasant experience!

If you’re looking for a peaceful, relaxing, and secluded place to unwind this is your place. Most of the time all you hear is the wind and the birds singing. There are very few houses as far as the eye can see which makes for a spectacular view of the stars at night. There are lots of hiking options around with beautiful views of the Alpujarra region. The hosts were the best people ever, very kind and attentive. In addition the people that live in the towns nearby were so friendly and welcoming that you’ll feel right at home. Definitely a must if you stay around this area of Spain!

This is one of the most beautiful areas I have ever been and I fell in love with it - I did not want to leave. The accommodation is a lovely, traditional Spanish apartment with lots of quirky, interesting decor. It has everything you need and more. It's set in a beautiful little village in the mountains away from life's troubles. The drive to get there is so pretty and the village itself has incredible views and friendly people. The garden was a peace haven - perfect for relaxation. It is also well equipped for anything from outside dining to laying in the sun all day. San and Annie are two of the kindest people I've ever met - they were so helpful throughout my stay and very understanding of my nervous dog. Nothing is too much trouble for them. You couldn't ask for better hosts. If you want somewhere to switch off and relax, or somewhere beautiful to explore by car and foot, this is the place! I cannot recommend this stay enough and I'm already dying to go back.
