The house was everything we expected and was able to accommodate for the 10 guests. Check-in and check-out was smooth, and the rules of the house were easy to follow.

Wonderful house in a very quiet neighborhood. The house was squeaky clean and very spacious. There was plenty of room for 4 adults and 2 kids. The check-in was very easy. I highly recommend this property.

This was a perfect place for me and my 2 kitties in Durham for two months. Kay was responsive when we had some wifi troubles, and otherwide let us be (which works great for me). Plenty of room, well stocked, decent desk for my workspace, two comfy beds, nice yard. It's not a great neighborhood, but the immediate space around the house, the block we were on, was perfectly save. Adorable home, obviously a place where people have lived.

My family absolutely loved our stay at Mary’s place! We were there four 4 nights and we felt completely at home. The neighborhood was lovely and peaceful. Everything we needed was available. Beds were comfortable. We would definitely recommend Mary’s place!

We had a great stay at Glenda's. Glad to have found a pet friendly spot so easily located in Durham. She was quick and responsive to any questions or concerns we had. Quiet neighborhood and just a few minutes drive to downtown. Would def recommend to anyone needing an easy spot to stay in Durham!

Sport families (and others) will love this location! 10 minute drive to the Rocky Mount Events Center for a volleyball tournament. This home was fabulous for my crew of 3 teen and me (the adult). Quiet neighborhood made for peaceful evenings and great sleep (the beds were so comfy). The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals. The coffee maker was so easy to use - and the host provided coffee pods! We could choose to eat in the kitchen at the bar, at a table in the living room, at a table in the den or even in the backyard at the picnic table. So much comfy space inside for everyone to spread out and relax. Every couch was cozy and relaxing. Teens each had their own tv for downtime after the tournament, and I had mine - what a pleasure! Communication with the host was easy and proactive. Local recommendations were provided - pizza from Roma's was delicious! The home was sparkling clean with everything we needed - including paper plates! Highly recommend!

Lanae was just the kindest hostess. We were coming to Durham to see our daughter and her partner. Suddenly their dog fell ill and Lanae was able to take us earlier. Her house is lovely - great pool, squeaky clean and near a beautiful park. We are so grateful for a perfect stay. We will be back! Laura and Joe

We had our Annual Friendsgiving celebration and everyone loved everything. We had a private Chef so the kitchen was perfect

My girlfriend and I loved our stay. I know our rabbits enjoyed the quiet area as well. Needed a place last minute and were able to check in only 30 min after booking. Fantastic host, would definitely want to stay again in the future if back in the area.

We had a lovely time here! The house is so charming, with a beautiful garden, in a lovely, quiet area, and within walking distance of downtown. The hosts are very responsive and flexible. Wish we got a chance to pet the dogs ;) Can’t recommend it enough.

I’ve stayed in the apartment 4 times in the last 9 months I think and I’d highly recommend it to anybody. The gym within west village is fantastic and it’s so easy to walk to great places and also to go for a run. I love staying there and hope to be back again soon!

Laura‘s place was clean and quiet and it was exactly as listed. There was easy access to the basement and plenty of room. The bed was really comfortable and the amenities were in place. She communicated very well and timely to any requests. She went out of her way to make sure that I was comfortable and was available if I needed anything. I would definitely recommend it for an overnight stay in the Wake Forest area.

This home was perfect for our family vacation. My wife, our two kids, and I stayed for two nights and loved every minute of it. It felt like a beautifully staged model home—spacious, clean, and just right for a family of four. There are three TVs, all equipped with streaming services like Netflix. The queen beds were incredibly comfortable, and the entire space was spotless. The community clubhouse was a major highlight, featuring an indoor heated pool, a well-equipped gym (including Concept2 rowing machines), and an entertainment room with both a pool table and table tennis. It's accessible at any time, which was a big plus for us. The nearby playground was great for the kids, and there’s even a dog park right next to it. Publix is just a 3-minute drive away, and Duke University is about 15 minutes by car. We visited the Sarah P Duke Garden, the Nasher Art Museum, a popular BBQ restaurant, and Duke University. Ash is incredibly responsive and kind throughout.

The Stowe Away was the perfect gathering place for our Air Force Charleston Crew! We felt right at home, and Dorothy was the most perfect and gracious host. We are looking forward to staying at “The Stowe Away” again in the near future!

Very peaceful and easy to find. Stephen and his co host were quick responders when I had a question. And also told me where extra blankets were just in case we needed extra. I appreciate them especially because it was a last minute booking.

David’s place is beautiful! It’s surrounded by mature trees in a lovely little neighborhood with lots of stores and parks located nearby. David was a very responsive and personable host. Definitely recommend.

It’s difficult to put into words how incredible our stay was. We had two boys with us (6 & 10) and our 11 year old pup. Mike went above and beyond in accommodating us the entire stay. We would like to return to Mike’s lake house every year and make it a summer tradition while the kids are still young. The boat house/dock area is where we spent the majority of our time. It was huge with plenty of place to relax. The photos simply do not do the space justice. Mike had tubes and floats available for use and a sound system down by the dock. Playing music (at a respectful volume) made our stay so much more enjoyable. The depth off the dock was 10ft, which made diving into the water so much more fun, without having to worry about a mucky lake floor. The kitchen is new, as are the appliances. It does lake a dishwasher, but Mike had everything we needed to clean/dry the dishes before we departed. What a trip! We hope to be back next year if it’s still available.

This was our third time staying at the cottage and it was just as wonderful as always. Clean, welcoming, and full of amenities (excellent linens and towels, coffee and tea, snacks, books), we always feel so at home and so comfortable here, it’s difficult to leave.

Perfect! Our son had a soccer tournament in Wilson (about 25 minutes away) and this was perfect for us! The animals were fun to watch and listen to. Room stayed nice and cool. Love the farm/barn atmosphere. Super responsive host. Very flexible with our crazy schedule. Only about 10 minutes away from all types of restaurants. Shower was hot and had great pressure. Would definitely stay again!
