Beachfront vacation rentals in Jambiani

After 2 weeks of volunteering, this accommodation was great to come down and relax. The location was really great and Barbara was always on hand to help with recommendations, a bajaji etc. needed. It was a great end to our time in Zanzibar. Highly recommended!

All hotel staff always very helpful, friendly, and professional. They were able to solve all our wishes and requirements quickly and willingly. Even cooking delicious meals. The accommodation has a great location, and a wonderful view of the ocean.

As our first time traveling abroad, we felt right at home at The Zanzibar Beach House (which made saying goodbye so hard.) We were blown away with the views, the amazing self-catering unit to cook our own foods (to stay within our budget) and the help we received from the hosts were great! We will miss this piece of paradise 🏝 and we only wish for everyone else planning their trip to Zanzibar to take our advise and book the stay at the unique Zanzibar Beach House! We hope to be back soon! 🇹🇿

Nakudenda House is a nice, spacious house in the heart of Jambiani village. The beach is just a stone's throw away. Lots of nice restaurants around. The house offers comfortable, large bedrooms. It's nicely decorated and has all you need to enjoy wonderful Jambiani. Eta and Romain are very nice hosts, very proactive and try to solve any problems as quickly as possible. Communicating with them was very easy and they go out of their way to make your stay a nice one.

Thanks for a wonderful stay Raphael. The house is beautiful, it is as described. It is very well maintained, there are fruit trees and bougainvillea on the property and it is beautiful The house is equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The pool is large and clean, we enjoyed it in the late afternoon after returning from the beach (1 min walk) Issa the caretaker is a kind, efficient and trustworthy man. Raphael is an exceptional host, he responded promptly to our many requests always with a kind word and a smile in his voice. We hope to meet him one day and we will certainly return to his home. Go there without so much as a second thought.

We enjoyed our stay at Malcom's place. Written directions are not advisable - he had someone meet us at a well known place to direct us to the house (it's tucked deep into a neighborhood). The (saltwater) pool and the hut overlooking the beach was great! There was a caretaker on the premises who took excellent care of us! Note: very few food shopping/restaurants in the near vicinity.

It was an amazing stay and a wonderful experience

If you're looking for a quiet oasis in lively Zanzibar, this is the place for you. A private beach and unobstructed lake views in all directions and from anywhere on the property. A good individual breakfast, dinner and lunch. Fresh fruit (as much passion fruit as you can eat) and a well-stocked minibar in the fridge. Friendly and prompt answers and fulfillment of wishes. A clear recommendation.

Can only recommend this place - we could have easily spent several days here. The rooms are lovely, the staff is nice and helpful, and the outdoor area is super nice.

The property is clean and well equipped. - Microwave, airfryer. The staff is very welcoming, the house is 5 minutes from the beach and a 10-minute drive to Paje to do our shopping. The solar panels are a real plus, no power outages. It's a quiet, safe and relaxing place with a beautiful pool and deckchairs to relax. Arnaud and Eddie were always there for us, they organized our transfers from the airport and various excursions. I highly recommend this place!!

Cynthia's home was perfect for our family. Home was exactly as what was in the picture. Upstairs area of home was open, bright, and welcoming. Ester rhe housekeeper was very accommodating, what ever we needed, she would make it happen. The clear glistening pool was my getaway spot. The home was in a quiet area, but only a few minutes from shopping, this was the perfect location for us. I would definitely recommend this home.

OUTSTANDING. We have been living in Tanzania for 3 months in Dar Es Salaam before coming to Paje Beach Apartments, so we are already acclimated to the country. This place far exceeded our expectations on every level. Lynette at the front desk and the entire staff made this place the most amazing place to stay ever. Seriously. Tanzania can be hit and miss when it comes to AirBnB accommodations, but this place stands out in every single category, especially cleanliness and overall value. I would , however, encourage you to walk the beach to look for food options after eating at Abel's place because the food gets even better as you begin to explore the beachfront. This is one of the few places in Tanzania where I would say the pictures don't even do it justice. It's more beautiful in person. They have only like 6 apartments and then a few single rooms, so the entire place is not that big and you get very personal treatment, at least we did. And the STAFF are AMAZING. So super responsive. Very warm and friendly. Our 5 year old made so many friends with the staff here and they are very professional. Can't say enough good things about it. We will be back.

The house was great. We had everything we needed and were able to visit restaurants on foot along the beach. People are incredibly welcoming. The housekeepers Majuma, Aysa and Ben were the best and loved ones. They were incredibly sweet and helpful. prepared us a super delicious breakfast and dinner every day. The two tour guides Solomon and Rahmadan booked us unforgettable trips, everything we imagined was made possible without problems. They were always there for us and offered us a car service. We all really loved it. All in all, everything went perfectly and smoothly. We can 100% recommend the villa.

We had the most incredible stay at this stunning property! The location is absolutely perfect—secluded and tranquil, making it an ideal retreat for our group of 8. The surroundings offered peace and serenity, far away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The accommodation was outstanding—spacious, beautifully designed and comfortable. Every corner of the property was thoughtfully curated making it feel like a true home away from home. What truly made our experience unforgettable, however, was the wonderful staff. Led by Yusuf, they went above and beyond to accommodate every request. We hired the private chef, Suleiman, and he delivered the most outstanding meals we could ask for. The staff even arranged kayaking experiences for us which was an absolute highlight. We couldn't have asked for a better team, who were so accommodating, friendly and professional throughout our stay. I highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a peaceful, serene escape. You won’t regret it!

Thomas was so loving, nice and always available. Saleh as a housekeeper as well and very helpful. The place is recommended to everyone. Vuai’s place was very very nice, almost in front of the beach, in a safe, chill, and nice neighborhood, with a local minimarket nearby, and only 10 mins from Kuza Cave and 15 mins from Paje. The kitchen had everything one could need and the bathroom was very clean and nice.

Great resort of about 5 villas. Looks exactly like the pictures. Really paradisiacal. Would come back in a moment. The service is also perfect. 2 meals a day (had half board). Service always available, great food with lots of variety. The manager is very responsive to her own wishes and can help superbly with planning the vacation on the island. Only downside: the sea is a few 100 meters away at low tide and you have to walk a little bit until you are by the water. At high tide, however, the water is right outside. So I've seen more beautiful beaches, but the villa and the "around it" make up for it without any problems! Absolute recommendation.

We had a wonderful stay in this excellent beach house with its private beach. The house was very comfortable and cozy, and my family and I thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Majaliwa was very responsive whenever we needed anything; he is friendly and lives in a house nearby. We would absolutely stay here again if we return to Zanzibar.

The villa was absolutely beautiful. It looks much bigger in real life than in the pictures. It’s right next to the beach, making it easy to go for long walks along the shore. There are also many local restaurants nearby. I want to thank Grace ❤️ and the security gentleman for their help and kindness—they truly made my stay special!
