Farmstay vacation rentals in Isle of Wight

Thank you to Sophie & family for such a beautiful property! Our stay was perfect - our children & dog were besotted with the donkeys! Such a peaceful place, good and easy access to everywhere as well as being close to local amenities. The house was exactly as described, clean and spacious! Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. We are already planning our return!

A great break away for a few days with my Children.. The hosts (Susie/Sarah) are absolutely fabulous and were very accommodating before and during the stay. We visited Alum Bay and took the chair lift down to the beach and then a boat ride to see the Needles. The property has everything you require for a stay and even has a large fridge/Freezer to accommodate food should you if you decide to cook. A welcome basket of food including a few essentials was a nice touch! The hot tub was a massive hit with my son who was in it constantly. Thanks guys

We had a superb stay at The Orchard bungalow. Such beautiful accommodation and set in a perfect location to explore the island as everything is a short car journey away. The accommodation was clean, spacious and bright and felt very homely. We went with our 4 year old and my parents and loved the open plan living. There was plenty of space to do things as a family or grab a quiet moment in another part of the house. The rooms were well appointed and nicely furnished. Having so many en-suites was a real bonus. We took advantage of the on-site restaurant on the first night which was so handy after travelling. We also used the riding centre and booked a pony pamper and short horse ride for our daughter which was a fantastic experience us all and the staff were amazing! Great trip and we’ll definitely be back!!

What a beautiful home in a beautiful location! The views were spectacular - so lovely to wake up to. We spotted Oyster Catchers and Egrets from the jetty. Thoroughly recommend Catherine's home. Lovely log burner to keep you warmer on chillier evenings. Catharine was a very responsive host. Thank you for a lovely stay.

What an amazing place! Such a peaceful setting for really getting back to nature, surrounded by beautiful countryside yet only minutes from the islands beautiful beaches and attractions (you will need a car if you stay here to make the most of the island). The Little Barn is clean, spacious and flooded with light, and has everything you could possibly need for a family stay - it was ideal for our family of four. We loved exploring the grounds, discovering local wildlife, eating the honey that was left for us (made by Susan and Richard's own bees) and drinking the local Mermaid gin! Susan and Richard could not have been more accommodating and welcoming, checking we had all we needed and giving us tips on the local area whilst giving us the space to enjoy our stay in peace - despite being next door, we barely knew they were there. Some of our local highlights were Compton Bay, Carisbrooke Castle, The Garlic Festival (every August), and the walk to St Catherine's Lighthouse. The perfect wholesome family holiday - we hope to be back one day!

Julie was extremely helpful and communicative, giving us both the privacy we required but also available for anything we needed. She seemed genuinely invested in us having the best break possible. Beautiful little touches around the house and perfect size/facilities for our family. A very short distance to a great beach with lots to do around that area, but also on easy routes to travel around the island. Thank you both very much. We hope to come back, but next time for longer!

The property was warm, clean and comfortable and Andi was on hand straight away to welcome us. It is a 10 minute walk from Totland Bay. a great place to stay and a lovely host.

Lovely accommodation with a lovely host, really friendly and welcoming. The location is great, really peaceful and close to Cowes. We had a lovely time.

Fantastic location for exploring the New Forest with walks right on your door step and the coast within 25min drive with lots of fab pubs near by! Horses walking around in a really private property. The house is very old…so some parts were very dated, only 1 shower down stairs! We went as a group of friends so that was hard with 5 of us! The outside garden is stunning, with great hot tub and bbq and super comfy outside seating. Overall, was great house and ticked our boxes. Thank you

We had a beautiful stay at Hucklesbrook cottages, we loved all the little touches and how peaceful it was. Deborah was so friendly and made us feel at home from the get go, we will definitely be back and would highly recommend.

What a gorgeous little house, we enjoyed every minute we spent at the Piglet. Lisa gave us a very warm welcome when we arrived, the house was warm and cosy and she left us some lovely local produce and some very tasty Halloween cupcakes! Everything about the property was perfect for us, it is beautifully decorated and has lots of character, the beds are really comfy, so is the sofa and the shower is fab too. There are amazing views from the house, the garden is lovely and there’s a big field attached to the property where dogs can have a good run. The Piglet is in the perfect location to explore the island, it isn’t far from anywhere and there is a super, dog friendly pub a 2 minute drive away which serves delicious and reasonably priced food. We only stayed 3 nights, but we really enjoyed our stay and could very easily have stayed for a week, there is so much to do and see on the island - would love to come back one day soon!

This is a truly fabulous house with excellent amenities. Extra bin bags, logs, firefighters etc are all provided. The property is easy to heat, both with an efficient central heating system and wood burners! Communication with the host is superb. Very efficient and helpful. Highly recommend.

Wonderful apartment right near Lymington High Street, we had a relaxing few days here exploring Lymington eateries, walking along the shore and chilling out on the sofas! Loved the helpful information Nicola sent through and her easy and responsive communication. We would love to stay again, thank you!

Our third stay at the gorgeous Corner Cottage, wonderful as always. Beautiful cottage renovated to the highest standard, super comfortable, well appointed, excellent kitchen, lovely country location. Fabulous walking nearby, good local pubs. Easy check in, very responsive host. Perfect stay.

Christina is a great host. The property is beautiful , spotless and finished to a high standard. The outdoor space is extremely peaceful and restful , just perfect for my Grandson who is Autistic and needs a calm place to stay . The location is fantastic for visiting lots of places on the IoW . We would highly recommend and really hope to stay again .

I was looking for a place to get away from it all, and this place was just what the doctor ordered. Susan was very responsive and helpful. Thank you helping with booking the ferry. The welcome pack was amazing. Very clean and plenty of room to just spread out and relax. The surrounding is just lovely for a stroll or a jog, or a spot of yoga-flow. The two living spaces (one in the ground floor and the other is the attic area) is just amazing. Kitchen was with plenty of utensils and enough pots and pans for a small army. The space truly caters for 10 people and we were only a group of 5! About 8min drive to a huge Tesco, and about 15 min drive to an Asda. They both deliver, but we chose the click and collect option. Internet speed on the slower side. We found that our Apple products did not like the openness of the WiFi and kept disconnecting. Watching Netflix/prime is not realistic. We loved our stay in the property and would certainly love to return with our friends.

We have been to the island many times, but have always stayed in coastal locations. This is the first time we stayed inland, and it was fantastic. I cannot recommend this property highly enough. It was so warm, cosy and quiet we barely noticed 'Storm Bertie' blowing outside. The cottage was spotlessly clean and well equipped. We also enjoyed the brilliant games room. Thank you very much.

Just had a wonderful few days at one of The Cabins at Toms Eco Lodge. Brilliant cabins, very clean with everything you need. Lovely setting with great views. Great spot to explore the West side of the island. Will definitely be back.

My wife & I stayed at Aleksandra’s place for a weekend away. The location was great, peaceful with a private entrance. Aleksandra’s communication was second-to-none, very proactive and responsive. The accommodation was clean, tidy and cosy with all amenities as listed. The Bed was extremely comfortable and electric radiators were helpful as we visited in December! We brought the dogs and we were greeted with a doggy treat pack - lovely touch. The enclosed garden was perfect to let them roam free. Will definitely be back to stay at Aleksandra’s place in the near future!

One of the loveliest cottages we’ve ever stayed in. Perfect for two adults and two kids. Cottage is cosy, charming and was very clean on arrival. The welcome package with cake and homemade marmalade, and eggs from the farm, was a lovely touch. Yes we did look for a nutcracker before realising the hazelnuts were for the squirrels! And we were not disappointed, we saw red squirrels on our very first day. The kitchen had all the things we needed. And so nice for an Airbnb to have decent wine glasses! The surroundings were absolutely beautiful. One corner of the garden is perfect for watching the sunset. Georgina and James were incredibly helpful and popped straight over when we accidentally switched the heating off. Local area is gorgeous - we did the Alverstone Mead 2.1 mile circular walk. The Garlic Farm is a nice day out for kids. Everything is easily reachable from Kern Cottage. Thank you Georgina and James for a wonderful stay.
