Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Isla Bastimentos

A really nice home with an amazing sea view in a great location on the island. Close enough to town but remote enough to give a very peaceful island vibe. The hosts are super friendly and helpful. The house looks even better than in the pictures. We had a great time there!

Really enjoyed Isla Catenero as we became more familiar with the island and the people we did not want to leave. Remarkable food for such a small island and accessible to other islands in a lot of activities. Steve did a great job at being helpful. Anytime we needed help he responded to us promptly. Helped to get our things to the home and finding us boat taxis to get to where we wanted to be.

this place is truly unreal! the house itself is stunning, but the rest of the experience is beyond beautiful. Audrey is amazing, and Fernando and the locals who help him are fantastic people. If remote, tropical jungle is your vibe, this is it

Thanks to Nick for such an excellent place, it is a haven of tranquility, we did not want to go, the house is beautiful, Nick is excellent host, Theo excellent manager, easy access to all the beautiful places of Bocas and with the privacy of a unique and familiar place… We definitely came delighted.

Paradise! The view and the wildlife were amazing. There was a sloth directly in front of the deck in a tree the entire time I was there. and I saw the monkeys at sunrise. Helena responded immediately to every question I had. One word of caution: The rock steps and pathway up to the house were challenging for me. I am overweight and had a hip replacement years ago. There are no hand railings so in some places I literally had to crawl. However, I would stay here again! No reason to hesitate booking this place. Oh, and Mosana is an Italian restauran just steps away from the property. It's s right on the beach and the food was authentic and wonderful

We had a wonderful stay - Alli & Sergio were great and always quickly answered any questions or concerns we may have had. It’s sort of like staying in a jungle setting with all the plants, birds and sounds yet nice and close to downtown and close top some amazing restaurants, swimming spots and other activities. If you like unique quiet, clean, friendly with an amazing setting then stay here and NOT downtown. Had a wonderful stay even though we never sat out as much downstairs as some others may have - we loved itand would gladly stay there again.

We loved our stay at Birdsong Villa. It's lovely sitting on the balcony enjoying the sounds of the jungle and the sea. It was super easy to arrive by water taxi from Bocas to Old Bank. We had a lovely trip walking to Wizard beach then on to Red Frog, then a boat back to Old Bank. Another great trip was walking to La Piscina from Bluff Bay. We saw monkeys and sloths. Melanie and Kathleen were both super friendly and helpful hosts. We'd love to come back.

Enjoyed our stay at Eduard’s. Unique location over water near a few nice restaurants. Used water taxi to get to town.

We loved everything about our stay at Tropical Suites. Super comfy beds, great location, friendly helpful staff, good on site restaurant, and loved the ocean front pool. Highly recommend.

The house was rustic but cozy. The kitchen was fairly basic but more than sufficient for our needs. The balcony with view of the sea was a great place to eat or relax in the hammocks. Bastimentos was peaceful but close enough to everything we wanted to do. Some previous comments mentioned noise but all we heard was the sound of the surf crashing. Lily and Dan were next door, and were very responsive and super helpful with local insights. We'd stay there again in a heartbeat if we're fortunate enough to be back this way.

Perfect accommodation for a couple's vacation. It is clean, quiet and yet centrally located. Had a great time!

Loved the Place when i warmed up to it. Waited 38 minutes after check in time was very angry hot n wanted my money back & people were inside the whole time.. on arrival host went Ghost so i lost my mind 1st night trying to get in.. House is in a lane"USE FLASHLIGHT"its SO Dark but safe once you approach the house has sensor light. Very convenient store and food everywhere to cook or buy to eat. The Amenities in the house were cool little games , No tv which was fine for me i only went to sleep, hammocc was itchy but i still tried it out, Linen were clean everything was provided in the picture .. Love the Ac, Kitchen utensils, Light Faint shower head but at least it runs... RUnning toilet THANk you thats also what i went for, just a comfy home... everything else was up from then I was a Solo female so perfectly safe if you decide to try something new

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is very central in the town and even a taxi boat arrives at the accommodation within minutes. The room was clean and spacious. The staff is very friendly and happy to help. Would recommend!

Louise's place was absolutely magical in every way - one of our all-time favorite Airbnb's ever! Louise was an amazing host - we were there for 6 nights and she consistently went above and beyond to help our family have the best trip we could possibly have. She organized boat tours for us, provided paddleboards and snorkle gear, recommended great restaurants, and kindly offered us all we needed to feel right at home. She was a lovely person to spend time with, and her home is truly stunning. There is nothing quite like sleeping in a house on stilts above the water and being able to wake up to watch from our bed the sun lighting up the water. We loved staying on a quiet side of the island, while also being just a short walk, taxi, or water taxi ride from all the bustle, good food, and adventure that Bocas del Toro offers. We would absolutely stay there again and highly recommend Louise's place to anyone who wants to experience the best Bocas del Toro has to offer.

This place was very well managed and my partner and I felt very comfortable. The home allowed us our first good night sleep because it was clean and home-y. Hosts are very fast with responding and very helpful with questions. I would definitely recommend their place in Bocas. Thanks so much Danielle and Morgan!

The apartment is very comfortable, just like the description. The kitchen is quite complete, with all the necessary utensils. Dea is always attentive to what you need, and responds very quickly. Please note that the apartment is on the 3rd floor and there are quite a few steps to climb. I would repeat my stay here!
