Places to stay in Pavones

We had a fantastic time at The Four Monkeys. Our tent was sparkling clean and brand new, which immediately gave a nice first impression. The shared kitchen was also a big plus. Silvina told us that the kitchen was only ready for a week, and that was easy to see: everything was new and tastefully furnished. In addition, the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. What really made this place special was the abundance of wildlife. We have seen all four apes without difficulty, countless birds (including the well-known macaws) and even a coati who roam curiously. Because of this, we ended up choosing not to even enter the Corcovado National Park – nature just came to us here! The location is easily accessible. If you plan to drive to the surf spots or beaches nearby by car, a 4x4 is recommended. All in all a great place for nature lovers and peace seekers. We'd love to come back!

An absolute epic spot! you are 30 sec walk to the beach and surf spot, 10 min drive from punta banco. The cabin are super cozy , private and the kitchen has everything you need. I stayed there for a week and Ian & Zara made me feel right at home. Such amazing host, always ready to help with recommendations of surf spot , restaurant, place to buy fresh tuna & fresh shrimps! For anyone on a surf trip this place got to be your first pick! 10/10

Review for Airbnb (in English): The accommodation is in a fantastic location for anyone looking to disconnect, explore the area, and observe exotic wildlife. On the property alone, we saw monkeys, macaws, tubercle hokkos, wild pigs, a basilisk lizard, giant butterflies, a hummingbird, leafcutter ants, and even a rhinoceros beetle. In the surrounding area, there’s even more to discover, like toucans. The house is functional and well-equipped— everything we needed was provided. One surprise was the nocturnal raids by raccoons, which we hadn’t anticipated. After we blocked the cabinet and fridge with chairs, they left us alone. In the end, it’s a funny story we’ll laugh about for years! We had a wonderful time in this little paradise and would highly recommend it to nature lovers.

This was a great place to stay while visiting Osa penisula. Highly recommended!

Great space for families and larger groups. Everyone was comfortable and felt at home. Carolina was very attentive, always responding quickly. She and her team were very kind! Pavones is a finder, especially for those who surf. We recommend and look forward to coming back soon!

This is a little slice of paradise where the Jungle meets the Sea. Very peaceful place to get away.

This place is a hidden gem. Not only is the house beautiful and well taken care of, but you are within walking distance to fun waves for all abilities. If that wasn't enough Brais, Geraldine, and their kids are the most amazing hosts! They rented us boards, made us bread, gave local recommendations, and their kids played lots with our son. We are so lucky we found their place, I can't say enough good things about it. Thank you for everything we can't wait to come back again.

Jose’s place is located in a great spot! It’s definitely small like other reviewers say. Not much room for suitcases. The air conditioning was very effective, shower is nice as well as the outdoor space. Great surfing spot!

El Paso Lodge was perfect for everything we needed while staying in Pavones. This was my second time staying and I hope to be back again soon 👌🏼
