We were looking for a last minute one night stay and found this little wonder…fantastic barn with everything you need even had some bread and milk and butter left for us. Our little dog loved running around in the spacious outdoor area and later in the sunshine whilst we relaxed in the hot tub. Comfy bed and great space in the bathroom with a shower. We would definitely stay here again. Lovely pub on site very friendly people. The food van was a welcome too as it was bank holiday Monday and we got some good food from him. A massive thumbs up from us 👍

We absolutely loved our stay. Like most we live at a million miles an hour so this little peaceful haven was perfect, we actually did nothing but chill in the hot tub, nap, read, sit in the sun and eat good food. We arrived on the Friday and didn’t leave again until check out. Was just what we needed! We would definitely visit again.

We booked this property to celebrate my mums 60th birthday and to say it was perfect is an understatement. We had a lovely long weekend in the hot tub with lots of BBQ’s. We also had 2 dogs and we felt so at ease that they were running around in the secure field. Will definitely be rebooking! Thanks Lucy & Co

As a family of foodies and in particular loving shellfish West mersea and the cottage were absolutely perfect for us. Our two teenagers loved the hot tub and we thoroughly enjoyed cooking good food in the small but perfectly formed kitchen and sitting in the sunshine in a very pretty deck watching the world go by. three nights was a treat, But perhaps a few extra just to make sure we could try all of the wonderful food offerings West Mersey provides . Thanks Roland for being a great host - we loved the cottage and would love to return.

Fab cottage perfect location for exploring the area . Great gastronomy pub 2 minutes walk . Lovely friendly village great parking facilities outside the property or allocated parking. We would definitely be booking again in fact I have booked for my parents.

We recently spent two nights at Chloe’s cottage. It was a very spacious cottage in a very rural, tranquil location. We particularly enjoyed the south facing garden in the afternoon. The logburner made things very cosy in the evenings. We will certainly book again when we return to this part of the country in a couple of years time. Thank you for a very enjoyable break.

Watt cottage is a beautiful little cottage which makes you feel at home. The cottage was well equipped with all the essentials needed. Samantha communicated with me when needed and responded quickly. I would definitely recommend staying at Watt cottage. Thank you for a lovely stay.

What a fabulous place to stay, quiet and peaceful with a lovely courtyard are to sit out in - but go out through the gate and you are across the road from the beach or a few yards from the centre of town. We booked it when we were visiting family in the area and will hopefully do so again when we next go down.

We felt privileged to be in such an amazing place. Very comfortable Cottage in beautiful grounds. So quiet and peaceful. The surrounding countryside is spectacular and we enjoyed several really lovely walks in the area.

We had a good few days in this lovely old cottage. We felt it was the best location on the island as we like to be where it is quiet and atmospheric. Being my the harbour meant we had both of these as other parts are very residential. We had lovely weather too and good to have a bbq. Thank you. Nice meal at the white hart club and also coffee and cake at Mersea barns.

Lovely little bungalow. Perfect for people who like their holidays to be simple and peaceful in beautiful surroundings. The house is compact but comfortable, and Ann gave us some good recommendations. Highly recommend!

Well what can we say, perfect location/very very clean and tidy. Loads of lovely touches to make us welcome, it was better than a hotel. Loads to do locally and just short drives out to all the sort after locations you may needs. Make sure you go to Mrs T’s fish & chip shop in Southwold on the beach it’s a must. Everything was perfect and Kerry & Adam are lovely, what a stunning part of the world they live in. They even supplied some milk/fresh eggs/crisps/biscuits, towels/linen were scrumptious oh and the beds extremely comfortable. Basically your mad if you don’t book here👍 Matt/Zara & boys thank you again x

Fantastic cottage in idyllic location. Photos do not do it justice - it’s a beautiful cottage, full of character and charm. Lovely garden too. Had a wonderful stay and communication was excellent.

I stumbled Accross this Airbnb quite by chance and I was blown away. I have now visited over and over again because the location is close to family. I always feel right at home. The cottage has everything I need for my stay, plus the hosts make it super cozy and welcoming with afternoon tea on arrival (I live for those scones) a fire at the ready to create ambiance and warm the living area, plus some bubbly and amazing coffee to relax with. I travel from the US so these details upon arrival make me feel very welcome.

My family and I had a lovely stay at the Coach House. The property is beautifully designed and the decor is very stylish. The house was very clean throughout and we had everything we needed for our stay. Charlie was very quick in replying with any queries that we had throughout our stay also. We thought the paintings throughout the house were a lovely touch to the property also. Would recommend to anyone staying in the area.

We stayed in oak cottage and loved every second - we have 3 city kids who ran around the garden / play area / anywhere they could the entire time! We enjoyed the outdoor bath after our days out (Jimmy’s farm & southwold pier) and the bbq and fire. Pizzas were fantastic, even our very fussy 7 year old approved. We hope to come back when our youngest is older so he can experience the memories made here too

The cottage is in a perfect location for amenities and for country walks. We parked the car and never used it till we went home. The cottage itself is fabulous and so tastefully decorated. Would recommend and stay again

We had a lovely stay at Bonnie Cottage. Jo was very responsive to messages and accommodating as we booked on the day of our stay. We really appreciated the thoughtful treats left for us grown ups and toys and chocolate left out for the little ones. The space was modern, clean and very child friendly. Only a short walk to the beach too! We would definitely return ☺️

We had a very relaxing 4 night stay here. A peaceful location with friendly hosts. Brookes cottage was a great base for exploring the area. A comfy bed and good shower and a lovely garden to relax in after a day out.
