What a wonderful week! I went to Culkein/Assynt for the express purpose of getting away from the overwhelming excesses of London life, and I succeeded, thanks in no small part to Karen and Iain’s pod. The pod is beautifully situated with an uninterrupted view of the coast, waves breaking over rocks, fields of sheep. The place is easy to locate, and Karen was proactive in providing easy-to-follow directions. The pod itself has everything you’d want or need and is extremely comfortable. Culkein is a great location if you’re looking to hike nearby Suilven, go on walks or just relax on the deck and stare out to the sea. I have nothing but high recommendations based on my experience, and I have every intention of returning to the region - it’s stunning.

Lovely cottage in a more secluded area of Scotland! Daisy was a really friendly host who provided us with all the information we need, and in the cottage there’s tons of books with walks and highlights of the area. Would definitely recommend!

An absolutely stunning part of the world, and worth the money for sure! Directions spot on, living space was prepared for us on a cold rainy afternoon and the views from the hot tub are sensational
